The daemon was intimidating, without a doubt. A voice like thunder, a body like some nightmare of revelations, and a feeling of power that could shape and warp the world itself. A lesser man would have certainly been afraid of this prince of hell, and the legions he most certainly commanded. Isaac however, was not such a man. He was reaffirmed by his faith in Kane, in the power of Tiberium, and now he stood confident before the horror, a mere man of faith.

"I am Isaac Helms, Grand Confessor of the Brotherhood of Nod, leader of the Black Hand, and the successor of Kane! I am the herald of the Prophet, and of a new and glorious age for all of mankind, for only I possess His word. It is the gospel of the great green crystal! The birthright to the downtrodden and the hopeless, the enlightened and the merciful! Know me you horror, as a child of Kane, and the first claimant to the Land of Nod!"
The confessor was about to lecture her on the virtues of bodily pain when she ran off towards the wanton destruction of the once proud city of Bern. It seems she had been faking her injury after all, though something told him perhaps his mere rotary rifle wouldn't have been enough to put her down if they had come to blows. Seems the situation had worked out in everyone's favor then. She was a sly one, he had to admit, but she must have thought him a fool not to suspect her vaulting over his vehicle. When one lives their life as a spy master and religious leader, everything is suspect, especially such over the top theatrics. But, after thorough inspection of the vehicle he could not find hide nor hint of any sort of explosive or tracking device.

It would matter little though, it was not more than two hours later that he was forced to abandon the vehicle, the road he would need to take to reach his destination was littered with the remains of countless vehicles, still stalled in traffic though their occupants long since gone. It was impassible by car, and once more he was forced to trek on foot, two of the three batteries he had scavenged now in tow. This part of the journey was short lived, as the men and women who he had attempted to flee from quickly gained the ground between them, their APCs with simple treads were able to go off the road, none of the vehicles he had spotted would fair well off pavement. With nothing but his life at stake, Isaac approached them, calling to speak with their leader. He was somewhat amused to find the great winged creature was their master, and they were following him.

After perhaps an hour of persuasive rhetoric and sermon, he had convinced the cultists to allow him to travel with them. In truth it would be necessary to reach their intended destination. Only Isaac had any form of navigation. Without the clutter of the roads or any restriction from the natural land, they made excellent time to Munich, and the confessor readied himself to speak with the 'Prince of the Warp'.
@Absolis
Not at all Absolis, I did the same, even went through and looked at what could be scavenged from the surrounding area and settlements. It is written that before you can shape the future, first you must control the past.
@thewizardguy

As flattering as that is, Isaac isn't a super soldier, he's just a veteran soldier and confessor.
@AgentFallenSoul

Isaac had noticed a small crowd of robed and dingy men and women had began to follow him. Were they perhaps remnants of the once great society that had fallen? Or perhaps they were scavengers ready to slay him for his belongings. Perhaps he would stop and find out, though they outnumbered him he obviously had the superior firepower, their simple automatics and laser weapons would be turned on each other in an instant. He didn't have much time to think and and a curse escaped the confessor's lips as a strange woman ran out in the middle of the road. Swerving to the right and lamming down on the breaks to stop the car before it hit her head on, he had no desire to run her down or damage the car he had just scavenged. He sighed softly as it stopped just in time, and quickly stood from the car, his rotary rifle shouldered but at the ready, and his ears alert to hear the sound of hastened footsteps over the Nod propaganda that echoed in helmet.

"What in the name of God and Kane are you doing, child?!" He was irritated, but at the same time could understand the woman's desperation. It was after all one hell of a way to get someone's attention. Calming himself with a whispered prayer, he looked the girl over and took a few steps towards her. "What is it you need, child? If you are wounded or ill, I have no medical supplies with me. Though, if you need a soldier's mercy I can offer it. Otherwise I would ask you speak quickly, I do not wish to remain this close to whatever landed for too long."

Name: Grand Confessor Isaac Helms

Age: 42

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Personality: A charismatic and zealous man, who truly believes in the power of Tiberium, and the vision of Kane. Peace through power.

Bio: Raised in yellow zone Y-6, which was formerly the south east of the United States of America, Isaac was quick to join the brotherhood of Nod, inspired by the message of the Prophet and the chance for a better life, a better humanity. His devotion and knack for rhetoric and preaching soon saw him raised from the rabble into the priesthood of the Brotherhood of nod: The Black Hand. While the Black Hand is an organization within itself, as a Confessor, Isaac's duties have always been to lead, guide, and teach the file and rank of Nod's army. When Kane was once more thought defeated, he kept the faith alive, preaching to the disheartened and downtrodden that soon their salvation would arrive, along with their Prophet. When Kane did re-emerge after the third Tiberium war, Isaac stood by his master's decision to join GDI in an attempt to make Earth habitable once more, and denounced the traitor Gideon with terrifying zeal. One of the few of the Old Guard priesthood remaining, many began to grant him the once prestigious title of Grand Confessor. As one of the few still upholding the word of Kane and the message of Tiberium, it seemed fitting, though it was not till Kane Himself blessed the tittle upon Isaac that he recognized it as his own.Since gaining the tittle, he has fulfilled his duty of leading Nod's intelligence agents and shepherding the flock, always beholden to the path paved by his master.

Abilities: Gifted orator and demagogue, uses hallucinogenic grenades, Nod datapad, mark 3 nod combat armor, combat knife, 9mm sidearm, and a nod assault rifle. He keeps on his person a large chunk of tiberium stored within his incense burner, spreading a small cloud of tiberium gas wherever he goes.

Universe of Origin: Command and Conquer: Tiberian Series

A tremble woke Isaac from his sleep on an old couch within the palace, he had not even had an hour's rest before something had managed to disturb him, though he wasn't quite sure what it had been. The confessor quickly made his way to the balcony to survey the city, and at first he saw nothing, at least nothing that would have contributed to the disturbance he felt. Though what he saw next, might have been the answer. I large meteorite crashing through the atmosphere, destroying a small section of the city as it made it's landfall. Isaac didn't like this.

"EVR, I believe that perhaps we must take our leave of the city... something about that meteorite wasn't quite right. Where is the closest major city located?" As he spoke to the AI linked into his armor through the datapad's slot, he quickly gathered up his rifle, a lighter he had found in one of the desks, some papers, and then scrambled to the balcony to retrieve his cape. He would not leave the heraldry of Nod to be tarnished and ruined by what vultures may come this way.

Searching. Munich, Germany is the nearest major city, transportation will be required. Recommend procuring an abandoned vehicle.

"Thank you EVR."

It did not take the confessor long to find a street car, and upon a close inspection the vehicle seemed to be purely electric. Cautious as ever, the confessor retrieved two spare batteries from other abandoned cars, just in case. He then set to work hot-wiring the vehicle. A smile crossed his face as he remembered his time as a militant soldier of nod, stealing GDI trucks and operating a nod raider buggy. Within minutes the vehicle sprang to life, and Issac gladly made his way out of Bern. EVR would lead him to Munich, and perhaps there he might find some way to make contact with the Brotherhood.
@Flamelordbut dont you know? You can't kill the messiah~ Tiberium shall shape the world, and us with it.
@FlamelordThe power of Nod and the wisdom of Kane will lead us to victory! We'll burn the heathens, heretics, and the faithless! But yes it should be fun~
Thank you Homura, and now the brotherhood has arrived, rejoice for the power of Tiberium has come to you all!
