I'm forced to wonder. If you guys keep hitting Magnus with that sword, is he eventually just going to go through a mid-life crisis? Can you make him become vegetarian? Have him retire to a small Pina Colada bar?

I'm likewise curious, especially given the nature of the Warp in regards to concepts such as heaven/nirvana/akasha. Chaos in itself is both the echo of mortal emotion, worship, and action, but also the realm of the soul. In that sense, the Warp and the sort of primordial Truth of Chaos Undivided Lorgar found/is meditating on might be 40k's equivalent. Where the Gods themselves are but aspects of a greater force, one that when reached transforms one into the sort of 'god-man' many different mystical traditions talk about. After all a daemon prince of Chaos Undivided isn't really beholden to any of the four great powers, at worst they will just come into conflict and be consumed by the much stronger (yet polarized) entity.
Why is it assumed this spell struck her sword in the first place? It's still a form of auto-hitting.

We'll I suppose that all has to do with what sort of spell it was. Most psychic powers/sorcerous powers in 40k aren't bolts or something similar that can be dodged. It more has to do with the willpower/focus of the caster and in some cases (such as many telepathy school powers) the willpower of a living target
It took some time to traverse the unfamiliar streets of the city, especially when one wanted to attract as little attention as possible. A few rumors or whispers here and there would be nothing, in fact it could add mystique to the Brotherhood when they began to make themselves known. It never hurt to preserve the sense of secrecy the Brotherhood of Nod held before the First Tiberium War. Then, they were merely an esoteric society of men and women dedicated to aiding humanity through Kane's vision. Then came the sacred crystal, seeding itself all across the planet, and suddenly everything changed. From secret society, to something between a religious movement, a people's army, and a multi-national corporation. They fought for peace, to foster a brotherhood of man, but GDI was there to stop them every step of the way.

Isaac pushed such thoughts from his mind, there would be time to recite the histories of Nod later. Now, he was not amidst the Tiberium fields of Carolina, or in the halls of Temple Prime in Sarajevo. Here with his brothers, he stood outside great walls of stone, strangers in a strange land. Tents and simple huts dotted the landscape, and men armed with all manner of weapons and armor went about their business. Some looked at them in curiosity, but many simply passed by without so much as a second glance. The horizon was a wall of wild forest and great trees, deeply shadowed in its mystery. The Confessor wondered what manner of beasts stalked those woods, that the people would give so much to be rid of them. It mattered little though, the Brotherhood would cleanse the wilds with the power of Tiberium and holy fire. A few minutes of questioning and conversation with city guard and mercenaries pointed them in the direction of the so called 'mage' who was funding their expedition.

"You are Melqart Orestes? We have come to offer our services for your excursion. My brothers and I are skilled warriors, and I assure you we will earn our keep."

@Kyuubey
I'm interested to see how things will play out between Vader and the Overwatch crew. Hope he survives, seems like he and the Brotherhood might be able to work well together. They'll burn and he'll strangle.

Also the thought of a little girl with a pair of swords going up against Magnus the Red, Daemon Primarch of Tzeentch, is not something I thought I'd come across today.
@Raineh Daze In time my friend, in time. As for now let us Do our best to help the people in whatever ways we can. Just like the Messiah!

<Snipped quote by CorpusMundus>

All in black, faceless masks, the leader has a pointy hat, they're carrying flamethrowers, and the ominous green smoke makes them look like Disney villains. And they're unrepentantly cultists.

You should see their leader, a glorious, hammy, bald son of a bitch with a goatee. Though despite uniting the third world and bringing order, law, and aid to contaminated areas of Earth that were abandoned by the world leaders, he's seen as the bad guy by GDI.

As for the cultist bit, the same can be said about Christianity and Islam, being radical Jewish/Abrahamic cults/heresies. In truth the Brotherhood also worships the same God, but aren't affiliated with the other three Abrahamic faiths and think Kane is their Messiah. Like how the Rastafarians believe that some Ethiopian Emperor was the second coming of Christ.
I just think we might have found the characters that are too blatantly evil. xD

Oh? Do tell!
@Absolis Were you referring to the Brotherhood or just to the magical girls in your post?
@YidhraThanks for clearing that up!
@Raineh Daze Nearly forgot to reply, sorry about that!

The Shadow carries two machine pistols, along with plastic explosives, and his stealth suit includes a pair of powered gliding wings which allow him to fly indefinitely. Two of the Black Hand Disciples have Tiberium infused flame-throwers, the last carries a tiberium sprayer. And the Confessor's weaponry can be found on his sheet! The saboteur carries only some explosives in terms of weaponry, aside from that it's just tools inside his suit.
