Konpaku Youmu
This demon-like creature was indeed powerful. But he was, insofar as the half-phantom could tell, boasting of raw power. No specific abilities, except perhaps some kind of psychic power judging by that display. While he was intimidating, he wasn't a ghost, and that gave Youmu further confidence. She could fight power. She could beat power. She didn't really understand some of the things he was saying, about some corpse emperor or whatever(it sounded like some sort of villain from those manga Yuyuko-sama liked to read), but she was fairly certain there wasn't much to understand. Most of it sounded made up from whole cloth, lies in order to try and get out of the fight he'd been clearly intending on starting, with a prisoner no less.
She didn't really have time to answer the rubberman. No, the previously injured newcomer was already being taken away. In Youmu's mind that meant she had to act as quickly as possible. And acting quickly was something she was, really quite accomplished at. Her phantom half wavered behind her as she squared up her feet.
"There is no Corpse Emperor, and there are no armies. The only enemy here is you!" the small white-haired girl declared, dust cast up from her feet. "Turning Angle Cut!"
A brilliant light shot out from the edge of Roukanken as she swung it, seemingly harmlessly blazing into the air before suddenly, sharply turning inwards and shooting directly towards the demon man. But that was only half of Youmu's attack. Her phantom half streaming behind her, she exploded forward with a burst of speed, appearing at the opposite side of the red man's body and swinging her katana towards him. First Hakuroken, with its nonlethal but painful direct attack on the target's metaphysical presences, and then Roukanken, with its supernatural cutting ability. Even if none of the blows hit, it was surely a distraction, and Youmu's agility could allow her to follow up just as swiftly if she had to.

There was some kind of bad guy coming along? Well, whoever it was, D.Va had nothing but confidence in her ability to defeat them. That was only logical. She had such a high combat rating back home for a reason after all! And teaming up with an original member of Overwatch? That was going to kick some serious butt! D.Va grinned proudly in her MEKA. "It's just like s boss, right? We'll take him on before he can hurt anybody!"
D.Va gave herself a firm nod. She was sure she'd be MVP, no question. They just had to meet him wherever he was and stop him before he got to any civilians, right? That's what her and the other pilots did back home, and that's what they would do now. Even if one guy was really tough, they were a party, and a party with her in it, no less. D.Va was certain they would beat him back!
