RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

Elizabeth, needing more sleep than Connor, would have been asleep longer if something hadn't stirred her from it early on. She blinked awake...well...half awake, and saw Connor looking at her. She looked at him, confused, before her stomache growled loudly and her face scrunched all up as a sort of pain in her guts made her clench up in a ball in the bed and groan slightly.

This was followed by another loud stomach growl and a slight growl from her in frustration, "what is wrong? what does it want?"

A little more wiggling around before setting into the fetal position, facing connor. "Gha, Connor! My body is acting weird! There's pain, and weird noises, and a tight tickling sensation down lower...and I don't like any of it."

(this is where I start getting my amusement for the rest of the thread :P)
She listened to him, returning to sip at the water in an attempt to quench her new thirst. She blushed though, when he reminded her that she was human and needed to talk like one. Yes, she would need to add that to the list of things she would need to work on. A list, she was sure, that was going be be quite long.

At about half the bottle, she finally succeeded in ridding herself of her thirst for the night, gasping for air again. Number one, call yourself human. Number two, learn how to drink water properly. She was quite certain she had never seen Connor gas for breath when drinking out of a water bottle.

She sighed, yawned, set the water bottle bottle on the nightstand, and then slipped further into the blankets and close to his body. She was only conscious long enough to listen briefly. Soon though, she smiled as she was lulled to sleep by not one-but two heartbeats.

And the next morning, he would -again- find her sucking on his shoulder...though this time, there is no chance of her biting him for blood.
As he let go of her and went off, she used the little bit of energy that she had left and pull the covers away enough to slip in. The coolness of the sheets was a sensation she was never aware of before and it caused her to shiver slightly. Reaching for the offered bottle of water, she found it slightly awkward that she was intending on consuming a liquid that was not red. still she listened to his instruction, nodding slightly before unscrewing the cap and taking her first sip. The instant the cool liquid touched her throat, her thirst burned more intensely, instead of causing her to gag like it had before. She still continued to take in only the smallest sips, but it was obvious that she was really thirsty as she tried to take those small sips in as fast as possible. This caused a small, but steady stream down her throat.

When she finished about 1/4 the bottle, she put it down and gasped in need of air, and that caused her to cough a bit. "Why do you humans insist that water has no taste?" she asked, incredulous, as if water was the most amazing thing she's tasted in her entire life...and forgetting that she was human again already.
as he confirmed her thoughts, her happiness soared- and so did the beating of her heart. It almost knocked the breath right out of her with how much it was beating suddenly. A big smiled curled on her lips as he also noted that she would need to become a hunter. For a moment, although she was tired and agreed that she should sleep, she wondered if she even could. She was just so glad that she had accomplished her greatest wish for three centuries...she felt that there should be an entire ball scheduled to celebrate such a big event...but her tiredness returned (being in a nice soft hotel bed) and she nodded.

She was about to try and move to slip under the covers when he asked her about hunger and thirst. It seemed odd to her to think about those things as a seperate state of being...but she focused on it a bit and was again reminded of her course and dry throat. "a bit thirsty" she admitted, "But mostly...just...tired."
Being held as close to Connor as she was, she could again hear his heartbeat and feel his warmth, though she noted neither were as intense as before. She smiled faintly, as he comforted her, her body slowly relaxing as the pain ebbed in intensity. She was glad, whatever outcome it was, the pain was leaving at least.

When she could think clearly enough, she whispered an 'I love you too" through her now quite course throat. She coughed after that but otherwise felt fine. With the ebbing of pain, her heartbeat slipped into a stronger, more steady rhythm...leaving her tired - drained physically and even emotionally from her ordeal. Since she was relaxed, Elizabeth noted the presence of a pounding within her body, one that did not hurt her but was strong enough to feel through out her entire body. And she looked up at Connor with the unspoken question, almost afraid to let herself believe the truth, "Connor...?"
Through her pain, she could feel his presence, his touch. And even as insanely painful as this was, it gave her a note of comfort to know he was there for her. Loving her. A third body jerk caused her to cry out yet again, and briefly she wondered if she was being poisoned or being brought back to life. Even after the major jerking stopped, she wasn't sure what was going on. She felt a smaller pounding in her chest, felt it resonate through her entire body, which was feeling a pain combination of tension, intense soreness and really strong prickles like when you hit your funny bone or your foot fell sleep so bad that you can't feel it when you touch it.

But she felt compelled to breathe, and that too was a strange feeling.

"connor" she whined, just wanting him to hold her close. (or closer, as the case may be)

To Connor, if he felt for it, it was unmistakable that she had a heartbeat - though it would be really fast and really weak at this time.
Not too long.

The warmth that he had not noticed building in her torso started to bleed into the rest of her, eventually bringing warmth to her hand and fingertips as well. It could probably be felt radiating slightly from her, too-just like any other living being.

After that, her she was no longer floating in the comforting blackness, but her eyes snapped open and she gasped as if she had been holding her breath against itself. Her grip would tighten around his hand, her nails probably digging in. Still, the strength was nothing compared to what a vampire was capable of in this situation. And she screamed in pain as her entire body jerked, her back arching up as her chest rose . It would look similar to someone being treated with defibrillator. Her body barely was able to settle back down, her gaze just staring at the ceiling above her, before a whole new wave burst through her, again causing her to grip onto him and scream.
Her consciousness floated among an eternity of warm blackness. She had no idea what happened, or what time it was. She didn't particularly care either, enjoying the touch of the black around her.

For a while, nothing happened in response to his touch. Her heart did not beat, and no breath was taken...but after a few moments, he may or may not have noticed a slowly building warmth around her chest and gut area. That and the fact that she had not disintegrated into dust already despite her age were his only proof that she was not yet gone from him.
She watched him as he tended to himself, thinking about how she'd describe his blood if he asked. Sweet and spicy came to mind, and she smiled a bit to herself. That sounded more like a food description than blood. She turned her attention to how she was feeling, for the sake of the experiment, and found that she was feeling a bit lighter. Curious, if this was the cure, that it should act so slowly when turning into a vampire in the first place was a very fast and painful transformation. Maybe it was because you were losing your humanity that it hurt.

She looked up to him as he asked her how she was feeling, and offered him a light smile, "Not all that bad...actually...a bit light-headed...and d-dizz-"

and as if someone had suddenly flipped an 'off switch', she fell forward, unconscious. She was not breathing, either. She probably should have figured that a virus spreads faster than antibodies do.

(I think)
He intertwined his fingers with hers and he looked into his eyes as he told her he trusted her, and just wanted it to be easier on her. She smiled, glad that he hadn't started to become paranoid on her, glad that he trusted her so much, even as she could easily kill him at that moment.

She still, when it came time to it, she saw that he was nervous. Of course he was, they weren't sure that it would cure her. For all they knew, it could actually be poison for her. She hoped to God it wasn't poisonous. So, prayers sent upwards. She smiled at him again, also a bit nervous. "Yes, please."

The joke didn't help with her nerves, but she had tried at least.

She stepped closer to him, closing the distance, and kissed him on the lips softly before moving over to his neck. Her lips grazed his warm flesh, his heartbeat right beneath her fangs yet again. She didn't let o of his hands, keeping their fingers intertwined, but her other arm did come up and over his shoulder as if she was feeding normally. For a moment, she hesitated as she thought about the last time she was at his neck and ready to bite. She thought about how much he trusted her and loved her to let her do this with complete trust. She almost didn't want to bite him...to expose the most inhuman quality about herself by biting him. For a moment more, she just listened to his heartbeat, and felt it through her lips.

Finally, she figured she couldn't delay it anymore. She couldn't back out of the experiment without feeling regrets.

"I love you." she whispered quietly, focussing on his heartbeat, warmth and breathing to help drive her instinctive side past her mental barrier and bit down into his neck.

She felt the familiar rush of blood in her mouth, and she eagerly drank a few mouthfuls. His blood was sweeter than she thought, but that was probably from all the fruit he ate. She pet track of how much she was taking in, and although she couldn't help but drink a bit more than she had intended, it was by no means anywhere near serious blood damage. It was perhaps, only a couple swallows more than a pint. When she was slowing down, she noticed a slight burning sensation that wasn't there with other blood. This must have been some of the effect. Pulling out slowly, she kissed the spot she had bitten down on, and then his cheek. His neck would heal fine with a little pressure and cotton..she hadn't tapped directly into his carotid. "Now...we wait I guess. I told him to give me until tomorrow evening." She nuzzled into him a bit before letting go of his hand. "You need to tend to your neck." she said quietly, walking over to sit on the edge of the bed. The burning was faint, like mild salsa, but she noted it was still strange that it was there to begin with.
