Nope. She can still cast a spell when it's her turn.

I mentioned it to help keep track. Right now, Ariel has only 2 spell slots for her first level spells. Once those spell slots are used, she won't be able to cast 1st Level Spells until after she takes a Long Rest (which thankfully for her is only 4 hours). After a long rest is completed, the spell slots will be replenished.

So Vicious Mockery would probably take the other spell slot.

This makes me relieved she’s a Sea Elf and not a Triton.

Ryan was very pleased. His show was going smoothly. There were more cheers than jeers, and Ryan was having a great time entertaining the crowd. Then everything went to Hell.

First, a Growlithe started barking. At least… Ryan thought it was a Growlithe… It definitely looked different from any Growlithe Ryan had ever seen. Whatever the case, Grace was distracted by it, and the Snubbull started barking back at it. Grace is supposed to be a performer! She shouldn’t be distracted by such things!

Whatever, Ryan could deal with that. But the next thing ruined the entire performance. A foul stench filled the air. Someone had released their Trubbish, and most of his audience ran away screaming.

Ryan was infuriated, with his nose pinched (not that it helped) he stormed over to the source of the smell, and shouted at the owner of the disgusting Pokemon. “Are you kidding me? You just ruined my entire performance with that… thing… Put it away!”

Meanwhile, Grace had taken the opportunity to bite the Hissuian Growlithe’s tail.

More people started to arrive, including his first cousin once removed Kara! Then Batman took them all to the security room where there were people watching the CCTV looking for danger. Jon was just excited to be here. “Don’t worry Batman! You can count on me!” He gave the caped crusader a salute, then leaned over and whispered to Wonder Girl. “Although, we may have to keep an eye on some of the Junior Squad too eh?” He giggled.

Supergirl then thought of ways they could do their job. “My bro and I can fly too. All three of us can monitor the whole building! No one’s is going to try anything with thre kryptonians watching the place!”
