Tell us the most awkward date story you've got.

Unlike my sister, I've never gone on a date. My sister, however, was being romanced by a volunteer firefighter a couple of years ago. It was no secret that she had zero interest in him to all except for him. He was an extremely nice guy and he treated her well, so she was having a hard time letting him down. My mom, two of our neighbors and myself decided that we would do it for her.

One night she brought him home to watch a few movies. While it was nothing out of the ordinary considering my household, it was still fairly hilarious to see one of our neighbors running through the house carrying one of those massive bags of buttered popcorn and telling the guy that he had to eat ALL of it without drinking anything in order to date my sister.

Needless to say, he didn't eat the popcorn.

This didn't ruin their little "relationship", however, my sister did call it off a few days later. From what I know, they're still friends to this day. And that, my friends, is probably the most "awkward date story" that I have.

If you're interested, I have a laid-back fantasy Roleplay that I'm going to be running over the course of the year or so. It is in the Free section, so that may be a turn-off for some. Shimmer - Fuel

Besides Matchbox 20, Billy Joel and Bastille, Fuel is my other musical obsession. I think it's definitely fair to say that most of my appreciation for Fuel comes from their "Sunburn" album which is where this song can be found. Shimmer in particular is one song that has stuck with me through all emotions on the spectrum and my ups and downs of life.

When I was happy and relaxed while taking a walk, I was listening to Shimmer. When I abandoned my two best friends, I was listening to Shimmer. When I was fighting suicidal thoughts, I was listening to Shimmer. After I moved in with my aunt and uncle to live a "new life", I was listening to Shimmer.

The only runner-up besides this song would be Bent by Matchbox 20, but I decided to not go with that one as it comes with too strong of a negative correlation opposed to Shimmer which can still manage to make me smile and relax despite my less than happy past, especially with the song itself.
