Haruna simply nodded and got right to work, they probably didn't have the time to waste on talking anyway. The girl decided to search around the opposite end of the store, after all there was no point in looking at the same shelves. Initially she taken to packing as many small water bottles as she could reasonably fit into her bag, it looked like Yokoyama was busy gathering food and there was no telling if they'll have easy access to clean water. It begged the question, would there still be working plumbing in the city even if there shouldn't be anyone maintaining it?
Yokoyama called for her attention to which Haruna responded imminently. "There's no reason for the 'miss' you know, don't know what kind of girl you take me for, but I don't really care for that sort of politeness, but yeah give a sec I'll be over." She stuffed one last bottle in her bag before lightly jogging over to the boy.
After his explanation of the backpacks, Haruna stared at her two options, and even tilted her head in confusion. Were these really the only bags in the entire store? Eventually she picked the Gundam one, it seemed like the lesser of two evils. "Well... I sort of like robots." She shrugged. "Besides, painting a bright pink target on my back doesn't seem like a smart decision." Then perhaps a bit unexpected given her attitude so far, Haruna gave small smile. "But hey, if you want a pink Hello Kitty backpack, I won't judge... just your manhood on the line and whatnot."
Good now they had extra begs, now they could probably end up being a liability because such tiny backpacks won't fit all that well on them, but it had to do for now. That said while it would've been ideal to completely replace their schoolbags, that didn't seem like an option anymore seeing as their new backpacks aren't that much better. Quickly Haruna filled her Gundam pack with other non-food items such as disposable lighters, a random assortment of magazines for some entertainment, and two umbrellas. Now that she felt somewhat ready to move on she met up with her partner yet again once it looked like he was finished as well.
"So uh... Yokoyama." She started. "I know where we can get some stuff to fight with... but well the problem is they're back home... meaning we have to go back, meaning we can easily run into Catwoman. Its going to be a little hard to explain, but let's just say my dad is a collector of sorts. If you feel like backtracking isn't worth the risk I wouldn't blame you, but it is an option."
