@Belwicket: As an actual lesbian, I find your character quite frankly offensive, and I frankly want nothing to do with them.
I was honestly trying to think of a way to bring this up privately to the GM but it's too late for that now.
Please do not interact with my characters and avoid scenes my characters are in. In fact, I'm going to take this moment to directly ask the GM to rescind approval for your character, as I find them offensive and even ignoring that their bio is an edgy mess.
I have a question for future refrences since the topic is up. Is it wrong for me as a hetero male role player to role-play as a male homosexual, or a lesbian?

But, uh, referring to the elephant in the room (because it's better to address the issue than pretending it doesn't exist, as I've come to learn)... I'm also pretty against Bel's character and that last post is a pretty big offender by itself. The whole 'offensive' thing aside (because that's been addressed by Vita here), that last post raises a lot of flags that, while seemingly innocuous at first glance, made me do a double take because of how trivial it made things seem when they shouldn't be...
First off: carving wood by hand is a CHORE among chores. My school has woodworking as a class, and I have a few friends in it. They are, for the most part, amateurs at the job, and even with advanced tools it takes a few hours to make even the simplest of things. I've also watched my dad work with wood in the past, and holy crap does it take a long time. Being able to suddenly generate a bow out of nowhere in what is comparatively much less time, from a person who, even in their past life, has done nothing to indicate the kind of ability to create such an item, feels contrived at best. Also, the bowstring being bark, while not inherently flawed, doesn't seem logical to even attempt to perform without the prerequisite knowledge... Which, once again, I must mention that the character is not implied to have given the backstory that has been supplied.
Next: Rabbit hunting with a rock. Okay, I don't know how someone could justify this without invoking a REALLY good throwing arm to brain the thing or the ability to avoid detection or MAGIC. What kind of rabbit would be killed by a person with a ROCK, of all things? Blunt trauma will hurt the little bugger, sure, but a) the character is mentioned to be in a forest, which means that spotting a rabbit in such a place is REALLY HARD because of all the foliage at ground level, and b) IT'S A RABBIT. In the wild, they're jumpy little buggers and run like hell. No way is someone gonna be able to kill them at melee range with hits from a rock. Unless the rabbit is, you know, THAT airheaded. Or dead already, but it's been stated to have been killed here. So. Yeah.
To follow: The quiver. Yes, you can make a quiver from tanned leather. No, you can't just skin an animal and jerry-rig it into a quiver without some kind of agent to sew/bind it together and just magically expect it to not get screwed over. Tanning hides, like a lot of things, takes TIME. A LONG time. Also, no mention of anything to clean up the blood and guts while doing so. Also, how the heck would your character have the skill to skin an animal in the first place? Or anything to let the skin keep its closed shape? Oh right, and cooking also takes time. To say nothing of the fact that you're hacking away at a rabbit with a stone (which, you know, is a bloody mess no matter how you look at it), meat does not cook instantly. Unless it's being eaten raw, in which case I ask why the hell are you eating raw wild rabbit? The background you've given implies that your character spent a lot of time in an urban/suburban setting before their passing, which means that killing and carving up an animal isn't exactly something that you'd expect to be on their resume, if at all.
And... Let's get to the biggest issue: the first action performed is to sexually harass a character. Like... What? I don't have any words. Just... What? Seriously. That kind of action is not only morally ambiguous AT ITS ABSOLUTE BEST (which this case isn't), but it detracts from the enjoyment of other RPers. Vita's spoken up about the action in question, and though I cannot in any way share her circumstances as a heterosexual male, I DO understand that people feel uncomfortable about having their characters molested in front of them. This is no exception. This is not comedic in any sense, and I hate to see how this would pan out against the cast of characters as a whole in turn. This, in my eyes, is a character that does not interact well with the people we have set on stage. I cannot speak for the people RPing them (because I am obviously not them), but as far as I can extrapolate given what I've seen so far, a vast majority of them would likely disapprove of such a character being around them, for various reasons.
As a precautionary defense: my char has spent three days studying the language in-RP under people who know it, and the ability he has makes that process speed up because, well, learning. That doesn't mean he'll be able to wield a blade like a master swordsman or snipe a hawk from a hundred meters away with a bow if he learns from those people about their respective fields; knowledge doesn't necessarily mean that he'll be able to utilize it effectively, which is why he's effective a support for most of this RP as far as I can see. He's not going to be able to make tools in hours what would take more experienced men days; unless he develops his own methodology, Takeyoshi will almost assuredly be inferior to the original.
So, uh... Yeah. It's less a list of grievances and more of a rant, but this is something I really can't let slide. I have a bad feeling I'll be derided or something of the sort, but it'd feel really wrong to sit by and watch the embers catch onto the house we're trying to build here, so to speak.

Well... I wanted to add my own thoughts to the general conversation, and sort of going off what @PKMNB0Y said with his list of grievances, it is important that we remember our characters really have their limitations. For the most part I think we been doing pretty well on this front, other than using their innate abilities that came with reincarnation, no one has really been doing crazy, amazing things. No one is suddenly a badass just because they've been reborn as "heroes" and honestly they're just normal people with normal skills.
Anyway I don't think this has been an issue at all until the latest post, just felt like I needed to say something. Don't know if my input was needed or not, but meh. Also I don't have much to say on sexuality and whatnot. I think its simple as respecting the other RPers in here, and there really has not been a precedent set for anything above a PG rating, let's keep it on a comfortable level for everyone. Again nothing that hasn't been said already.

Maybe they would meet again in another life. *wink wink*

@VitaVitaARExcept 1 thing, I am a lesbian RL and, though I don't act like that RL, RPs are a place where I let out my inhibitions. If you don't like how my character acts, have your character respond.
That doesn't excuse how the character is being played and how the character was written.
You haven't made them a full character. Literally their entire personality is basically "perverted". There ARE perverted characters I really like(Kuroko from Railgun for example) but there's a lot more to them then just that.
When a character's literal first act in the RP is to molest another character they're meeting for the first time, I don't care what your real life circumstances are. That doesn't make it okay.
Like I said, I'm a lesbian in real life as well and I'd never make that a character's first act. I'd also make the character more of an actual character.
Just because you're also a lesbian doesn't mean you haven't made a character that comes off to me as offensive.
And that doesn't address the other grievances raised.
I mean, hell, if you want to make a comedic pervy character... first off don't make their backstory a mass of edginess about murder and death and nothing else. Secondly make them a full character that doesn't come off as an offensive stereotype. Third... don't make them just wander up to someone they've never met before and molest them out of no-where. I mean there's so many other ways to handle this.
You could have her internally think about how cute another girl is and want to talk to them because of that, make some cheesy goofy flirting, make ANYTHING else.

I didn't know that my character would have to learn a new language. And again, the stuff she made wasn't meant to last long, just until she could get a small amount of whatever the currency here to buy herself some weapons.
@VitaVitaAROK, you don't like my post. Have your character react. Also, in my last sentence of the post, I did state that she didn't expect a good reaction. She's expecting to get hit and get yelled at. I based her off of what I wish I could get away with RL. The before-death character is me. Also, you don't need to pull the GM in on something that could easily be fixed IC.
... This is her first action. In the entire RP. You have given her no traits but this.
She has also performed sexual harassment to a random stranger in front of an ex-cop, who is only "ex" because she died in the line of duty.
If I posted and didn't ignore your character because yes, I still find them offensive and your explanation doesn't change that, Mimori would kick her to the ground, tie her hands, and drag her to the guards.
It's not just the post. It's the entire character being made for this.
