Prologue
Where our protagonists begin their journey as nobodies
Battlefield Survival Guide for Dummies
Participants: Sonia, Aleph, Jennet, Germ
A rumbling sound, akin to that of a distant thunder, wakes you up. You have difficulty opening your eyes, as if you were dreaming the most beautiful dream, but the sound just isn’t going away. In fact, it gets even louder. Who was so determined to wake you up? Trying to find the source of the noise, you raise yourself up from the ground. Yes, you were sleeping on the ground. A grassy ground. What the hell were you doing last night? It takes a few moments to remember that you died and reincarnated in a new world. The reason your movements are awkward was not sleepiness, but the fact that your body is, well, not really your body. I mean, it’s yours, but it’s new, so it doesn’t feel like yours just yet.
As you get up and look around, you find others. They were a ragtag bunch, but the look of utter confusion and the sluggish way they moved their bodies gives you an impression that their predicament is not that different from yours. Huh, that voice didn’t say anything about others being reincarnated with you. Anyway, who was that voice? And why is it still narrating everything you do?
Ah-ah, don’t mind my humble self, I’m just doing my job!
Also, you have other problems on the horizon. Quite literally in fact, because if you look at your current horizon you’ll notice something which you probably never saw live before, but immediately knew what it was: a huge fucking army. And it was marching right towards you. You turn around to get the hell out of its way, but you are greeted by the sight of yet another army. Which was also advancing towards you. Now this was quite a pickle. In panic you look around and notice a bunch of weapons in a poor condition scattered on the ground: broken spear, rusty sword, pierced armour, all kind of stuff. There were some corpses attached to them here and there. Well, at least nobody will be able to accuse you that you came to the battlefield unarmed!
A message appears before your eyes:
...
WHERE DO YOU LOG OUT FROM THIS SHITTY GAME?!
Things look grim for our heroes, but one should always look at the positive aspect of things: at least now they know what that rumbling sound that woke them up was!

四百二十燃やせ!!!
Participants: Moonroll, Rayo, Miyu, Takeyoshi
You are woken up by the concoction of noise. What's going on, are neighbours making a party or something? You hear the sound of drums, cheers and singing. A very repetitive, but strangely alluring singing. In fact, it is so entrancing it gets you out of your futon (because for some reason, you were sleeping in a futon) and removes any of the morning drowsiness you are supposed to feel in the morning like any proper millennial who never had to do early-morning manual labor in his life and is used to partying all night long. Or at least until midnight, that's something too.
As you get up you feel that your movements are somewhat sluggish. Right, you got a new body. This is no longer Kansas, you died and reincarnated to another world. As you inspect (and feel) your newly acquired appendages you realize you are not alone in the room. And it's a room. A very Spartan, archaic room. But anyway, you realize there are other people in there with you, looking like a veritable freak show just as confused with the current situation as you. Your gut feeling tells you that they share the same predicament as you. Suddenly you don't feel as special as you did when you saw that reincarnation message.
Fortunately, you don't have time to get in a slump because the music which woke you up has grown louder during your check-up of your new body. The feeling of your mind going blank, like when that hot co-worker bends forward and reveals the full depth of her heavenly valleys, possess you and your body feels compulsion to leave the room and join whatever kind of celebration the guys outside are having.
Past the door and you find yourself on a street packed to the brim with a cheering crowd. Sweet Jesus, what a crowd it was! Some of them looked human, but most had an appearance like somebody took various animals, hacked them to pieces and then reattached them while dead drunk. And the scariest part of the whole scene is that they all jumped around, danced and cheered.
In the middle of the road a procession was moving, looking like East Asian version of carnival in Rio. As it moved the cheering got louder, the drums beat more violently and from time to time your ears are filled with the sound of a horn blowing loud enough to split earth. It definitely split your eardrums.
But you didn’t care. You couldn’t care. The whole atmosphere filled you with maddening euphoria. Soon, you joined the fray, dancing and jumping and cheering, and your world turns into chaotic mush of colours and sounds. A female voice, the most beautiful voice you ever heard, cheerfully resonates through the crowd and through your very being, adding to what was the greatest high of your life:
“Dance, dance everybody! Offer your fleeting existences to the Son of Heaven, the night of the Hunt is upon us!”
That sounded mighty ominous, but your brain wasn’t functioning right. It wasn’t until screams started that the euphoria began to let up and you suddenly realized that shit had hit the fan.
Something was coming from the back of the procession, but you couldn’t make out what. As it rushed through the carnival the music was getting louder and louder and louder, but the cheering was replaced by the screams of terror and pain.
However, there’s no need to panic! You ain’t dying yet! A message appears before your eyes, surely giving you a helpful tip for the situation:
Just kidding, you ded son.
Another group of protagonist finds itself in a ridiculous situation. Will the Force be with them enough to pull through this adversity?

You are a Hero in Your Life
Participants: Ranca, Mimori, Velte, Tori, Harmonic
You had such a nice nap! Granted, you are not sure why and how you went from crashing into rocky mountainside to sleeping on a forest clearing, and who the hell are those other guys you woke up next to, but you must admit you feel refreshed and ready to challenge a new day! Even your new body is not giving you much trouble. Looking around you feel like you really are in a fantasy world. There's an island floating mid-air in the distance, a few moments ago a flying dragon-like thing passed over your head (we shall not call it dragon as of yet because it may not self-identify as a dragon; we don't want to offend something that looks like a motherfucking dragon), and the air simply feels... fantastic!
But what would a reincarnation to the fantasy world be without a chance to become a hero (and acquire harem)? Well, I don’t know, but you need not worry because such chance has just arrived! Sound of metal clashing and a woman’s scream reach your ears. What is this? Is there a damsel in distress somewhere close by? A message pops-up before your eyes:
There you have it! Now gather your companions and begin your journey into a legend!
Things are beginning pretty cliché for our third group, but fuck it, I ran out of ideas and I got to start this shit somehow.

OOC:
Join one of the three starting stories. If one story has more people than the other two combined, it's considered closed until more people join other two stories.
Each story is a different type of campaign: first one will be a more military oriented, second will revolve around one big city and third is your typical adventuring and dungeon crawling. However, don't take this as a limitation to what you can do. If you feel like it you are free to derail the plot into going wherever you want and make your own story. DON'T LET THE SHITTY GM KEEP YOU DOWN!
