Join one of the three starting stories. If one story has more people than the other two combined, it's considered closed until more people join other two stories.

Each story is a different type of campaign: first one will be a more military oriented, second will revolve around one big city and third is your typical adventuring and dungeon crawling. However, don't take this as a limitation to what you can do. If you feel like it you are free to derail the plot into going wherever you want and make your own story. You are a Hero in Your Life - Ranca Blom

With a mighty yawn, Ranca slowly opened her eyes, lazily gazing at the winged reptile drifting above. Stiffly, she rose to her feet, noticing that she wasn't the only one laying in the clearing. At least it was a nice place for a nap, she supposed. Since... Oh my, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! It looked like something right out of a fantasy game! It was just so-

Unfortunately, Ranca's train of thought was derailed when she heard a piercing scream echo from somewhere nearby. Pulling on her hood, she took a quick glance at the others around her...

"I'd really like to say hi, but it sounds like someone's in trouble! Be right back!" With a cheerful wave, the girl in the dino-hood began sprinting in the direction of the scream, hoping she wasn't too late...

This is so awesome! I'm gonna be a hero!

The utter ridiculousness of the situation was astounding. She had been a regular Earthling not so long ago. What had gone wrong? The loud, grating screeches of the crowd caused Moonroll to cringe, her eyes narrowed against the bright lights of the outside. There was some sort of odd festival happening outside. But she hadn't received any notice of it. Only a couple of hours prior, hadn't he outside seemed dark, dull and calm? Or maybe her memory was betraying her? Despite her quick reflexes, her memory did tend to be rather poor. Regardless, this odd festival had popped up out of nowhere. She debated upon moving outside to check it all out, or remaining indoors.

It was then that she realized she wasn't alone in the room. She had been so focused on the festivities outside that she hadn't of noticed the others in the room, all of which seemed as peculiar as herself. Gripping her staff, she eyed the individuals who seemed to be in the same predicament as her. Yet, the words she wanted to say seemed to be caught in her throat. After her brief pause, she turned around shakily and breezed out the door, eyes widening as the horde of creatures overtook her. The sounds of the festival quickly drowned out any worries she had. She had never experienced such a grand party in her entire life!

The world around her seemed to whirl to the point where she was no longer conscious of her own decisions. Her very mind was swept up in the mad fray, her reasoning buried by the pure insanity of the situation. Bright golds and reds and oranges flew by her, and her vision quickly become one, bright scene as crowd gave ear-splitting shrieks. The chaos was something that she was embracing. The festival had influenced her entire system like a drug.

The melodic, ethereal female voice soothed her ears. And it actually grounded her slightly, even before she heard the terrible screams coming from down the street. Suddenly, she was jarred and jolted from the euphoria. Looking around wildly, she realized that she wasn't even near the building she had started from. Something was incredibly wrong here, and she didn't want to stick around to see what it was. The feeling of terror was amplified as the notice flashed before her eyes. Immediately, she decided it was time to run for her life.

Hurdling over a fallen creature, she raced down the street and away from the source of the screams, clutching her staff to her. She had a feeling that she would need it in order to survive.

"Cinco de Mayo?" Rayo muttered under his breath. His head was not feeling right once the barrage of noises had entered his ears. He stretched his hands out and could feel a futon beneath him. He raised his eyebrow and began questioning the environment around him. The luchador wiped his forehead, but came to find he was wearing a mask.

"Oh, I'm a luchador now," he sighed. Rayo smacked his lips to get rid of the morning taste out of his mouth. Stretching his arms out, he let out a lengthy yawn. And then his calmness had died down. "Wait, I'm a luchador!"

The Lightning Dragon jumped to his feet in a quick succession. He admired his built body and could not believe the transformation. "This calls for a celebration!" He bellowed out as he stormed out of the room without a second thought. The luchador was surprised to see a parade marching out and having a good time. It would be best to question the existence of a random parade, but on the other hand, when you find out you're a luchador, you have to celebrate. Despite them being altered animals, it was best to ignore it. Rayo was in a lightning dragon luchador costume; he had no right to judge.

He hurriedly jumped into the middle and followed along. His body moved to the beat of the drums and his hips bounced back and forth. There was nothing stopping him from enjoying his dreams of finally becoming a fighter. Although, his partying was cut short once the hoorays and hoorahs were beginning to be replaced by nerve-wrecking shouts and cries. "Que?"

The Noble Swordswoman who does not Tolerate Evil

The grass felt soft on her skin. The girl with the dark, blue-ish hair slowly opened her eyes, blinking several times as she slunk up and back into her knees. For a few moments, all she could really perceive was that she was outside, and that there were people around her, who were similarly strewn about on the grass in a rather haphazard fashion. The last thing she remembered was... making her character? Like it was some kind of role-playing game or something... That's right. The man with the gun, she hadn't had a choice. She had to stop him no matter what. And then he'd shot her as she brought him down...

Mimori had died with the knowledge that she'd saved so many people. And yet... she hadn't really died, had she? Because she was here. Very much breathing and alive. ... In... in...

What was this embarrassing outfit?! Who... who would ever make her wear something like this?! She couldn't have woken up in something more respectable?!

It seemed like an odd thing to be concerned about after suddenly reviving from the dead in a completely new place(hadn't she been falling or something as well?) but the young woman's cheeks colored mildly in embarrassment as she looked down at herself. But after a few moments, she firmly shook her head. No, it wasn't the time to be worrying about that, now, was it? It absolutely wasn't. First she had to check on the well-being of the other people here.

Methodically, she went from each unconscious form, checking them for injuries. Satisfied that the seemed unharmed, she came to a stop near one and gently shook them.

"Are you okay? You haven't been harmed, have you?" she asked. Attempting to wake them seemed like the next logical step, after all.

But then she heard... a scream?!

Was someone in danger?!

One of the others had already awakened, and already guessed at the same outcome...! Unable to stop herself from pursuing(what if the girl was running into danger? And they had to help whoever else was in trouble...) Mimori followed the hooded girl.

The Immature and Explosive Mage Girl Looking to Make the Most of This

... Well.

This was... new. There were people. And... things that looked like people but looked like someone had bolted animal bits onto them. A lot of them. It was some kind of big party, insofar as she could tell, where everyone was having a good time. The tiny blonde girl pushed up her oversized hat and peered deeper into the crowds. There sure was a lot of commotion, here. She was surrounded on all sides by a bunch of people and weird animal thingies. But it looked like a festival, didn't it...?

... Miyu's sweet tooth flared to life. Right after reviving, she'd been dropped into a festival! She didn't care how that worked, she just knew it meant candy. And eating candy for the first time in her new form would be great, wouldn't it?! Wouldn't it?! Of course it would be! Sporting a rather excited smile, her far too long coat dragging on the ground behind her, the girl shuffled forward... and promptly stopped when she heard a scream. Up until then she'd just be filled with a flurry of excitement, but then... that was not right. And now there was... people were definitely scared rather then excited.

Well.

"... Hmph, I'm not reviving just to be caught by some losers calling themselves something lame like that," Miyu commented. Oh, it was scary, but... 'The Wild Hunt'? Hmph! With that, the tiny girl turned tail and immediately broke into a highly unimpressive sprint.

It seemed she was about as athletic as you'd expect from a tiny, harmless-looking nine-year-old in oversized clothing.

At first things were going pretty good, Sonia simply lied there taking in the crisp blue sky above. Her mind was in a strange state of panic and serenity; on one hand she did just die, not to mention the experience of falling face first into a mountain wasn't all that pleasant, but also she was still damn well enjoying the prospect of a new, exciting life. Sure she wasn't a he anymore... but that didn't matter, it was a decision she made for herself and it felt awesome. No more late nights at a job she hated, no more living in a damp, cold apartment, none of that. This was going to be her new life, one filled with adventure and for once she is going to be happy.

It was then the rumbling finally registered with the newly minted catgirl, Sonia realized it had been there the whole time. Suddenly she got curious, what was it? She sat up, although not without noticing the alien feeling of her own body even just ignoring the very obvious ears and tail, it was still a lot different from her old, male form. Quickly it dawned upon Sonia what the rumbling was all about, a freaking massive army is really hard to miss after all, then of course when she turned towards the other direction she found the other one.

Her earlier optimism gave away to a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach, holy shit was she about to lose her life before it even began? Sonia tried finding a logical reason why not to be afraid, she was just a stranger to these people, maybe they'll leave her alone because a really confused catgirl doesn't make much of a threat, although as she looked around some more that apparently probably wasn't going to be the case. First, she actually wasn't alone there were others with her, she had no idea who they could be and quite frankly had bigger problems to tackle. Second, the corpses. The scene around her wasn't all that pretty, a couple of dead soldiers were strewn all over the place. Again that sick feeling returned to her because she didn't have to guess how they died.

With shaky legs she had to stand up, there was no way she could survive this by just sitting there. Sonia's attention was instantly drawn by the equipment left behind by those soldiers... hell what was she thinking about doing? Without bothering with any of her "companions" she ambled towards the nearest corpse, in the dead man's hand was a sword. It was a life and death situation, it was no time to complicate the morality of battlefield looting. With a deep exhale she crouched over the man, then started to pry his cold fingers from the weapon, the action still felt wrong. Eventually it was free and she simply took it in own hand. The blade was coated in a fine layer of dried blood, and the metal was obviously rusted, plus the edge had more than just a few niches in it, still at least she had a weapon now. She reasoned with enough force it could still maybe do some damage. To the side she found something else, a shield. It was a simple wooden one, but much like the sword it wasn't in stellar condition. The boards were bent and it barely formed a defensive layer. Not to mention it smelled heavily of mold from sitting in the mud for so long, but again like with the sword at least she had something else to defend herself with.

After that she didn't know what to do. She was technically armed, although not like she could fight off an army by herself, especially considering she didn't even know the first thing about fighting. Sonia just assumed she would suddenly have that knowledge, or she would have time to learn, seems like that wasn't going to happen. So instead she just stood there, waiting for either army to finally reach her.

It's Hero Time! Maybe! Hopefully!

Coming back into focus was something that was strange for the newly awakened person, especially since they distinctly remembered suffering and then dying from a powerful pain their chest. Most likely that was a heart attack, though the surprising thing was that their eyes could be open once more. Even more out of the ordinary was that the streets where they were had been replaced by a completely different environment, not a hospital or even the morgue like expected, but a wide open grass plain under a blue sky with a questionable looking winged lizard flapping about in the distance- much too realistic looking to even consider being CGI. Dull surprise was the reaction to such a scene.

And then there were more alarming factors to consider. Everything looked bigger, as though the body had shrunk and the perspective was forcibly lowered. Hair that drifted into view in the breeze looked explicitly light blue, too natural and healthy looking to be compared with died colors. Skin was pale instead of olive, softer and very much lacking in any muscle definition indicating lack of exercise. Center of balance was off, hips seeming to be narrow and shoulders somewhat broader. And finally, that last clue that something was very wrong... A most alien feeling. "..." Slender fingers hooked into the hem of the pants to pull it far enough that one could look down but not low enough to show anything off to the world. "!" Surprise and bewilderment followed by the heady rushing of blood to the head as they found a part that definitely shouldn't have existed attached below the belt, the owner almost swooning from the great shock.

"I'm a boy?!" An alto pitch resounded into the surroundings, indicating a youthful yet undeniably boyish voice came from within the new body, the feeling of an Adam's apple moving under that slender neck which soon gulped unconsciously. Trembling hands felt the face, finding features tha were gentle and smooth and freezing once more in yet another bout of confusion as they touched the ears. They were angular and somewhat sharpish instead of rounded, lacking earlobes and feeling triangular in nature. "...Elf?" A hoarse whisper, though one with quite a bit of interest infused into it. "...Right, this is... Too realistic to be a dream..." Mumbling came as the newly dubbed male elf wrapped his mind around the changes, a bevy of mixed feelings swirling about.

The scream of a characteristic damsel in distress rang out nearby, instantly snapping the boy out of his thoughts and instinctively making the new frame start dashing into the rough direction of the sound. Fitness seemed to be lowered, but hearing was heightened so there was no worry about being lost. Small hands clenched, their owner feeling unsure if this new body could realistically be of much help at the moment. Still, he ran, a mad dash towards the unsavory situation due to a combination of morality and worry for the source of the distress. To cover the ears and leave just because the body was weak, that was an excuse for those of weak minds and hearts. Still, the newly christened elf hoped he could actually provide aid.

How to Survive on a Battlefield!

Step 1: Don't die!

This was quite the predicament. Two different armies matching towards each other, no doubt here to kill each other and quite possibly Aleph with it. He didn't care too much that they were here to exercise some very aggressive "diplomacy", but Aleph preferred not to get caught up in the intricacies of the political connotations of getting a spear to the face or finding out wether getting eviscerated meant one monarch didn't like him.

Step 2: Familiarize yourself with your surroundings!

With the cobwebs and dust in his head starting to clear up and his vision became more and more clear, Aleph was more and more baffled. Only now noticing the RPG-like heads up display around the edges of his field of view, an his abysmally low status bars. The bars for health, mana and stamina were barely a third full but the rest of the bar was hashed out with red lines. In a frantic moment of panic, Aleph's eyes darted around until he realized what was causing it an promptly slammed his head into the ground: <Blessed Sainthood>.
"More like 'cursed bullshit'." Aleph hissed under his breath as he got up, there was nothing blessed about it as far as he could tell, it just crippled him to the point of pure stupidity. He was going too need some really good gear if he wanted to survive, but there were no Walmarts around with cheap discount armors around (Aleph really wished those things had existed on Earth though).

Step 3: Take measures to ensure your safety!

Thankfully it seemed that Aleph had awoken in what could be said as the most open air armory in the world; unfortunately, most of it was pretty crap. Ignoring all the other bodies on the ground (some of which look liked they too had fallen from the sky), the man dove into the trove of broken weapon and bruised armor, ignoring the wondarbar sent of death and decay. Only if he had died with a bottle of Febreeze, christ knows the area could use some "fresh topical waterfall" or "gentle velvet silk", not that anyone knew what those two things smelled like or if they were supposed to smell like anything.

He looked around, nothing but deformed armor and shattered weapons for the eye to see, nothing of great use to either his class or his current status bars or lack there of. But in the shimmering sun light, he spotted the corpse of use to him. Leaning up against a rock, his gun in hand was a suit of armor and its skeleton soldier encase in it. Picking up the gun, Aleph took a close look at it. The firearm was pretty battered, seemed like it was used as a club at some point judging from the cracked buttstock, sights were also pretty much useless. Kneeling down once more, Aleph tried to salvage some more off the corpse but there was little luck. Outside a small damaged powder horn crafted from some boar, most the armor was to dented and pierced for him to really wear and the shot for the gun all vanished in the mud. The hat though... Aleph like it. It was a simple black cavalier hat with one brim attached to top of it, a small golden pin on the opposite side adorned it.

Step 4: Use anything and everything you can!

A gun was nice and so was the hat, but Aleph felt like if he didn't try to get anything else, he'd end up like mister skelly gunner who graciously supplied him his new digs. Back on the looting trail, he dug around until more goodies ended up on him. After accepting some more "donations" from the fallen, Aleph had found himself a worn leather belt that had two holsters for a pair of aged and chipped long daggers. While he would rather not have to get in kissing range of an enemy, Aleph thought it would be best just to keep something to kiss back with.

The ammunition situation forced Aleph to get creative, utilizing some crossbow bolts as shot for his gun. Probably not the safest idea but in theory it should work. Priming the gun, he loaded in gun with powder and (bolt) shot possibly creating the world's first gunpowder crossbow.

Step 5: Find friends so you don't die alone!

With his beat up gun with unorthodox ammo in hand and dressed in old, somewhat smelly leather, Aleph once again looked around. The armies where getting louder, battle cries and drums were pounding harder in the air. Seems like that this was going to be an interesting way to start the day. Hopefully he wouldn't die again, that would suck big time.

Turning around once more, he spotted something interesting. It was another person like him, a cat girl with a battered sword and shield. Aleph would have suspected she was some advanced recon, but judging from her equipment, it was unlikely. "Oi!" Aleph shouted as he waved his gun in the air to get the cat girl's attention as he ran towards her, "I suspect that you also just got here?"

Confusion was basically Jenet's mindset once she was conscious enough to get a feel of her surroundings. She was lying on something soft, from the way it tickled her skin she assumed it was grass. She also felt a slight breeze and heard a distant rumbling. She was dead, or well, she had died. The recent memory of reincarnation came to her mind as she finally found the will to open her eyes, filling in a few blanks like why she was breathing. But there was now questions swirling around in her mind like "Where am I? What the heck is that rumbling sound? And what do I do now?".

Jenet sat up and got the answers she wanted. She was in the middle of a big field, the rumbling was a huge army that was approaching and she was going to get out of their way. Jenet quickly scrambled up, almost falling over as she did so as she wasn't used to her own body yet, and quickly turned to start running away. Except there was another just as big army coming towards her from that direction. She was sandwiched in and starting to panic. She hadn't picked out spells to fight with! Hell, only one of them were useful for defending herself with! The other two were only food for either running away or helping make sure things that might want to fight her, didn't notice her.

Jenet was going to go into full out panic mode when she noticed something on the ground. A dead body. But more importantly, the shield that was lying next to the dead body. It wasn't great by any means. It was made of wood and looked like it could only take a few more hits. Some would also say it would be redundant to carry a shield when she could summon a magic one, but the more protection she had the better. So with an apology to the corpse she was stealing from (hey, she had died too and wasn't going to need her stuff from her old life, it wasn't like this guy was going to need his stuff anymore either), she took the shield. After that, Jenet looked around for a weapon, in case she did have to fight.

Her first thought was to get a sword, and while there were more than a few somewhat decent looking swords lying about, the few Jenet tried to pick up were much to heavy for her to swing around for long. This is what she got for picking a more speed and avoidance based character, wasn't it. So with swords out of her options, she looked for something smaller. She went with the first thing she found, a hand axe. The sharp end was kind of dull and it didn't have great range, but it was light enough for Jenet to swing around and would hurt if she hit someone with it, so that was good enough for her.

Now that she was somewhat armed and protected, she had to find out. That's when she noticed something else. People, but not the soldiers. They were standing in the middle of the field, like her, and they weren't wearing uniforms. She remembered hearing from...somewhere (who had told her this?) that there had been other people reincarnated at the same time as her. So maybe these were some of those people! Maybe they could help her get out of here!

"H-Hey!" Jenet called out as she quickly ran over to the two. She noticed right away that one was a cat girl, and the other was human? He looked human? His ears were kind of pointed though so perhaps not? Well, that didn't matter right now! "You guys are like me right?" She asked once she finally got over to them. "I mean, reincarnated?" Boy, if they weren't like her, then she was definitely going to sound crazy. "A-Anyways! Do you guys know a way out of here? I kind of don't want to die again by being crushed by two different armies..."

First came the smell of the wind, of mud and grass, of life. Then came the rank smell of shit and death, just like home. With a head ache trying it's best to become number one Germ pulled themselves out of the filth and mud to find that they had been transported into one ugly bitch of a morning. "Always a god damn string attached, ain't there. they growled to themselves, the anger of their past life bleeding into the new. The little gremlin began scrounging through the corpses surrounding them, ignoring their taller neighbors in their search. It job smelled worse than any party they'd ever been to but with nice trip to their "happy place" Germ was able to fight through the worst gags, they died without a fight in their last life and they'd be damned if they did so again.

Unfortunately most of the weapons were far to large to wield in any positive manner, being three foot six had some downsides as it turns out. What's more they just kept falling over, as if their body moved and reacted faster than their old body ever could. It would take time to figure this new body out, but with the armies approaching time was understandably short. After several moments they came up fairly empty handed, just a pair of garbage tier knives. The one in their right hand was noticeably heavier, the hand guard and large blade definitely made for strikes and slashes. In the left was a long, skinny stiletto like knife definitely made for stabs. The pair were maybe great pieces of craftsmanship once, but their time in the muck had tarnished them to all but basic effectiveness. With this and a quickly made holsters it seemed that Germ had just these and whatever this feeling inside them was, like a ball in the pit of their stomach but not nerves.

Ignoring it for now the Darkling bounded towards the others, running along on all fours much like a scaly chimp. The speed surprised Germ, there was a power in this body. The limbs were strong, their reflexes quick, and with this new feeling... potential? If they could survive this then they were going to take this baby for a spin. Reaching the budding group Germ caught the tail end of small talk and immediately became annoyed, "Now I'd just hate to break off this little chat but there are two armies about to stop our assed two paste, can we come up with a damn plan so that doesn't happen? That'll be just lovely." The voice sounded like sandpaper, a landslide, and a chain smoker all wrapped in one soprano... all in all not very pleasant.

Takeyoshi Sakujima: 変な祭りの中で

"...Oh god, my head..."
The young tengu, wearily lying on the futon, sat himself up and rubbed his head. This sort of headache was meant for after a heavy night of drinking, not... Well, this. The din outside didn't help matters much, but as his headache cleared up, Takeyoshi unsteadily rose to his feet and checked his body over. It seemed that sequence from earlier wasn't a dream from limbo; he was actually in a new body, as new person.
Wow. Even the wings on his back were working... Somehow.
Deciding against using them inside the room, Takeyoshi looked around to take note of whoever he could see exiting the room around when he did. A girl with comically oversized clothes, a bunnygirl, and... A masked wrestler? The odd cast of characters was... Interesting, at the very least.

Leaving the room himself and walking onto the streets below, Takeyoshi's mouth was left agape at the spectacle before him. This sort of chaos, this kind of rowdy festival... Everything about the situation around him was quite surreal. That didn't mean that it wasn't already, though; after all, his old suit and tie were replaced with what looked to be a kimono, and his comfortable jet-black shoes were replaced with really... Awkward-to-use geta. Somehow, he had managed to walk out of wherever he (and that other array of strange people) were in earlier, but now...

The boy's thoughts were interrupted, however, by the sounds of music and laughter being replaced by screams of terror and fright from behind him.

"Right. Fantasy world," he berated himself mentally as he glanced at the source of the noise before a small pop-up appeared in front of him, similar to how a notification in a game would. After reading the little message over, Takeyoshi promptly made a 180 and, praying that whatever had let him live again was being merciful, attempted to take to the skies.

It was, it seemed; Takeyoshi's wings spread out behind him, and a few flaps later, he was a few feet above ground, hovering around. It seemed that this much was his limit--at least, for the moment. Though whatever was behind him should've been the focus of his attention, Takeyoshi had another on his mind.

Even if I get out alive, I'm basically all alone. That's a recipe for disaster in a place like this. What about the others I saw earlier? Can I contact them?

It was a silly thing, putting the future ahead of the present, but that was just how he did things. Glancing around as he flew on ahead, Takeyoshi noticed the wrestler from earlier, looking around in confusion at his surroundings. The girl in oversized clothing, too, was relatively close by (he could catch a glimpse of them lagging behind her), but with the chaos it was quite likely that those would be stepped on.

Then she'd likely fall over.
And with the crowd panicking as they were right now...

Oh god no.

Takeyoshi had read far too many stories of people being trampled on, but this... Seeing it happen mere moments after coming in? What kind of horror story was that supposed to be?

Against his better judgement, the tengu swept down and, with a quick motion, hooked the young(?) girl with his arms. Her weight dragged him down, but at the very least he was able to keep those clothes from being a hazard anymore. But with this sort of weight, speed would be an issue.

Right, the luchador! He probably had the strength to carry someone around without moving that much slower. Two birds with one sto- actually, that was a pretty morbid metaphor, given his current form. Well, whatever.

"Sorry 'bout the sudden abduction, but it's probably safer this way!" he shouted over the din as he looked about for the masked wrestler from his current position. It didn't take very long, luckily enough; the man was like a mountain compared to everyone that was scrambling for safety.

Straining his wings to get a bit more lift, Takeyoshi flew as fast as he could to the wrestler's side and carefully lowered the blonde girl onto his left shoulder.

"Pardon, but we're in a bit of a rush. I saw you in that weird room earlier; you mind helping us out here? And by us, I mean her?" he asked, flying a bit farther ahead and trying to scout out the places that weren't completely overwhelmed by insanity. "Whatever your answer is, we need to get moving; we can either keep charging forward or get to a building, I think! I'll follow along and help however I can!"

Of course, his initial statement wasn't going to matter much anyhow; he had already moved the girl onto his shoulder, after all, and if the man had any semblance of a good conscience he'd probably go along with it. Underhanded? Quite. Necessary? Almost certainly.

Then suddenly there were friends. Almost all at once three other people approached her... well two people, the third guy was... uh a thing? Sonia stood there not exactly sure how to respond, she rubbed the back of her neck trying to think of something to say. Taking stock of the group, well first there was a gunner of some sort, and he actually looked competent which boded well honestly. He had a musket which meant they did have ranged fighting power, neat. Second, compared to the gunner the girl didn't look like much, pretty meek and that axe didn't appear to be all that lethal, then again it wasn't like Sonia was one to talk. Finally... um... Sonia had no goddamn idea what she was looking at. It was short, and looked like a tiny demon... thing. Fortunately she was convinced it was sentient, and friendly in the most basic sense. Yay?

The catgirl realized she was just staring at them before clearing her throat. "Uh." She slowly started. "Guess we're all friends by circumstance, so that's good." Sonia glanced towards the distant army converging on their position, they were definitely getting closer, much closer moving at a terrifying rate, then she looked back at the other army. It was the same deal. She sighed, they really needed to do something about this and so far it seemed like no one was taking charge, she had a feeling a group like this would quickly fall apart without leadership. Never in her life has she tried to be a leader, maybe sometimes lead a small project, but nothing major. The thing is she really wanted to reinvent herself like to the point of becoming a freaking catgirl.

With her mind made up Sonia waved her hand to bring everyone's attention back on her, you know if their attention happened to wander somewhere else. "I say staying here would be a bad idea, if these corpses mean anything those armies are probably not friendly. I got no idea where we are, but running anywhere seems like the best bet."

So You Want to be a Hero

Tori slowly opened her eyes, feeling a bit groggy. Rubbing her eyes, she pushed herself up and looked around, wondering where she was. She was in some grassy area, and there were a number of other people as well, either just waking up, still asleep, or already awake. She took a moment to remember what was going on, and remembered why she was here. She had died, then given a chance to start a new life. She remembered her character creation selections and stood up to examine herself. She grabbed a lock of hair over her shoulder and pulled it in front of her face to get a good look. Green hair, just like what she had selected. Tori also looked down at herself and noticed she was a bit more skimpily dressed than she liked, but that could be remedied easily.

Right now, though, was the time for an adventure. A scream reached Tori's ears, and there was the sound of metal clashing on metal. A notification pops up before her face, startling Tori. What is this? Tori thought as she read the message. Become a Hero... The others were already running off towards the noise. Normal people probably wouldn't get involved with whatever was going on, but then again, it's not like anything here fit Tori's definition of "normal". Smiling, she ran after the others, wondering what this new life was going to give her. She had a feeling it was going to be fun.

The Immature and Explosive Mage Girl Looking to Make the Most of This

Hmph. This jacket was really nice, but it was making her lag a lot! The big crowd of panicky people was way too close for comfort... And they probably wouldn't notice her... This was getting a bit more scary, so Miyu tried to look for a path she could break off into to run off to the side. At least, until someone suddenly scooped her up and into the air out of no-where. For a few moments, the rather tiny, young-looking girl was stunned, even letting out a small yelp of surprise as she was abruptly lifted off the ground. It was hardly something she was used to, and after a few moments the tiny blonde began to squirm.

"H-hey! The only people who grab little girls like this a-are perverts!" Miyu cried, trying to get a good look over her shoulder at the one who'd picked her up. All the same, it did seem like she was getting away from the crowds a bit faster like this, but... that didn't change that suddenly being grabbed as just plain weird, even as she was transferred to another man's shoulder, legs still kicking. Even his explanation, especially referring to it as an abduction, did little to make Miyu feel better about the situation.

... Well, not that she actually believed being a pervert was the reasoning behind this, but it sure seemed like it was the right thing to say right now!

Harmonic is a Hero in his life.

Itchy.

That was Harmonic's first thought upon waking up, face down in the grass. His head pounded, and and a world of sensation greeted him after the odd reality of death. Slowly, he picked himself up, and took note of how light he felt. Gone was his gut earned from long hours of drinking and years without exercize. He was young, and he was fit. Laughter escaped his throat, and in response he threw his head back and surrendered to it.

This was insane, but also so real.

The lack of equipment on his character sheet made him worry about whether he would be dressed when he arrived, but it seemed that fear was for naught. He was perfectly dressed for his role as...

His role as...

A hobo? He could have sworn he wrote in being a bard. He even sang a couple notes for good measure, with a trained voice he never had in his previous life. Shrugging off the odd choice of outfit, he decided to focus on getting a bearing on where he was at. A personal inspection could wait.

When he took a look at the surrounding area he had to slap himself across the face. First a message about a harem appeared before his eyes, and then he found several scantily dressed women around him. Admittedly he hadn't much looked at women the last few years of his life, but it still caused him to take a quick double take at the group. He stammered a couple words, not sure where he should start explaining himself when the sound screaming saved his skin.

Thinking with his other head for a moment, he took off in the direction of the noise. The other words of the message ran though Harmonic's head as he ran. The chance to be a hero. Could that really be him? A hero? It certainly couldn't be more absurd than the rest of the situation so far.

This was his world and his life now, it was time to try to make a mark.

Dragon Rayo kept listening to the sounds around him. The entire mood of the parade had dropped; all the drumming and cheering had been drowned out by stomping and shouting. It was unpleasant to hear and the overall environment had become hostile. Rayo was built like a tree, but even he was getting bothered by the crowd. One by one he kept getting elbowed on the side. It wouldn't be hindering if they were normal elbows, but some of these weirdos had animal DNA inside them. "Did I just get elbowed by a lobster claw?"

Rayo was beginning to lose his patience. Standing was not the most practical option, but would it be morally okay to just ram through everyone? He figured getting out of this crowd will give him an easier time to get a handle on the situation. "Alright, time to start to ramming people," the luchador muttered as he bent his knees and prepared a charge.

"Eh? What the-?" Rayo felt this weight being pushed onto his shoulder. His eyes widened once he found a small child laid onto him by another individual. "Por que?

"Pardon, but we're in a bit of a rush. I saw you in that weird room earlier; you mind helping us out here? And by us, I mean her?"
The luchador crooked an eyebrow; he had left that in a room in a hurry in order to celebrate his becoming a fighter. Was it possible there were others in the room besides him? This individual knew of the room so there was no reason to be suspicious.

"Okay, but I-""Whatever your answer is, we need to get moving; we can either keep charging forward or get to a building, I think! I'll follow along and help however I can!" And then the person left. "I'm a luchador, not a babysitter," Rayo grumbled. He cracked a confused expression and could not understand everything going on.

"Okay, little nina. You might get hurt as I am going to ram these nice people to get us out of this crowd. It's not like I can just ju-" Rayo took a pause. He looked down at the floor in defeat. The situation had really took a toll on his head. "Muy stupido, Rayo. Muy stupido."

The luchador activated his jump ability! He pressed his legs onto the floor and leaped out of the crowd. His direction was intended towards the buildings. The leap did give him enough of a boost to grab a hold of the wall. "Hold on," he warned as he began leaped a couple more times before reaching the actual roof of the building. "Alright then. I doubt anything hostile can attack us up here." @VitaVitaAR@PKMNB0Y

Battlefield Survival Guide for Idiots

"Well then, what are we all waiting for?" Aleph held his beaten up musket over his shoulder as he listened to the sounds of the army in the distance, "They certainly are not stopping any time soon and show we fail to escape, we might be targeted by the skirmishers who are no doubt screening the infantry. Worse case scenario is that the cavalry will charge forth and we get to taste horse hoof, metal to the face and dirt. I don't know about you, but I prefer to have my meals contain something more nutritious and less lethal."

The gunner looked around at the new posse of misfits who had also banded together. Outside of the cat girl there was now a tiny girl with an axe and a shield who looked as deadly as a kitten high on LSD and now a... demon midget? Aleph sighed as he took a good look at it and frown immensely; it looked like Satan had possessed a cartoon character. He would be lying if he said the thing was giving him the creeps, but if it could unnerve him then it could certain unnerve the armies coming toward them.

This day was only getting better and better.

Takeyoshi Sakujima: 道の上で

Seeing that the luchador had done as he had expected, a small smile crossed Takeyoshi's lips. If his intuition was on the mark, then at the very least he could trust that man in the future. Granted, he'd have to apologize in a moment, but so long as he could understand the reasoning behind it all, then there should be no problems... Right?

Watching the luchador leap from window to wall to window as he scaled the building, Takeyoshi took a pitiful glance at his own wings before sighing. This was going to be be like running a few laps around the block, except that he never liked doing that sort of thing and it burnt him out faster than anything else. He was never a person who cared much for endurance, in the end.

But hey, new body, new things to try! Hopefully he wouldn't tire out and fall to his doom.
...
Maybe it'd have been better not to think of that possibility in the first place.

Landing on a nearby windowsill, Takeyoshi took a moment of reprieve before taking to the skies again. Flying as high as he could (which, again, was maybe only a story at most), the tengu began to move into a pattern of landing, flying, and landing again to try and catch up to the masked wrestler. Needless to say, it took a tad longer than he'd have liked, and the young tengu was thoroughly out of breath by the time he reached the others at the top.

"Okay... Sorry... About... That. Just... Let me... Catch... My breath," Takeyoshi gasped, falling on his hands and knees as he took a few deep breaths and attempted to right himself. A few moments later, he was able to stand on his feet, however unsteady they were.

"Note to self: get better wings. Sorry about that, by the way; as you can see, I'm not very... Strong," he said, letting out a little laugh at the end before staring at the little girl on the luchador's shoulder. "And you probably know JUST AS WELL AS I DO that me picking you up was to keep you from getting crushed."

Shaking his head, Takeyoshi turned around to look down at the chaos down on the ground. Something was causing a rampage, but from this height he probably couldn't tell what it was, anyhow.

"So... Erm... Introductions. My name is... Sakujima. Takeyoshi Sakujima," he said, opting to take a seat in front of the two. "Kind of a weird time to introduce myself, but the sooner, the better, right?"

Hopefully whatever was killing stuff down on the ground wasn't going to spontaneously scale the building and hunt only them down next, right?

The Immature and Explosive Mage Girl Looking to Make the Most of This

"... Just don't go knocking me around too much. Hmph," replied Miyu, leaving herself seated on the large man's shoulder. He... sounded hispanic. Miyu wasn't exactly familiar with people from that far west, but the language he kept dipping into sounded like it at least. It was all she could guess. However, when he sudden;y lept into the air, and then did it several more times, she let out a panicked yelp and latched onto anything she could grab to keep from falling. That was even more scary! It wasn't long, at least, until they safely came to rest on a rooftop. At the very least, he had a point. They looked like they were far out of reach of anything nasty.

The winged man... a tengu? He seemed like a tengu, soon reappeared. Miyu folded her arms as she looked him over quickly. He didn't look like a pervert, at least. "... You'll still have to get me some candy to make up for grabbing me like some airborne pervert.

She wasn't going to pass up the chance to get some candy, even if he didn't fit the bill for some really creepy guy or something. Miyu looked away and frowned as she glanced off the side of the building for a moment.

"I didn't even get to enjoy this..." she continued, her cheeks puffing up in a pout, "Hmph, I'll just have to get more candy, then..."

Part of her hoped most of the people below got out okay, but it wasn't as if she was in the position to do anything to help, was it? It wasn't. She didn't exactly know how to use any of those things she'd tried to put in her character sheet or... whatever. So hope was all she could do.

"... I'm Miyu," she added, introducing herself, "... And you're definitely not much of a guardian angel or whatever, just swooping out of no where and scaring a little girl in an already pretty scary situation."

She let out an exaggerated sigh, "You might have saved me, but that didn't make it any less scary. Hmm... double the candy once we get out of here sounds fair, doesn't it? Fufufu~"

Moonroll: 変な祭りの中で

The atmosphere around her had changed so abruptly, that Moonroll still found her senses jarred. She trembled as she ran, adrenaline rushing through her form. Her legs propelled herself through the area, which was littered with obstacles and fallen creatures. The lights were just about blinding, and her ears were ringing from all of the screaming. As she continued to dodge under and over different objects, she found that her senses were beginning to become clearer and clearer. Her one objective still stood firm: she needed to escape from this place! Once she was away from the commotion, she could decide on where she would go.

A rather vivid-looking building caught her attention, and she turned her head to look at it. The door was absent, most likely knocked off of its hinges, but the inside seemed empty! Breathing deeply, it seemed that she had no other choice. It was go inside of get steamrolled by the chaos happening outside. She dashed towards the open door, flying inside. The room was torn apart, with a sofa laying on its side, and miscellaneous objects tossed here and there. She stood, leaning against the wall for a brief couple of moments. But the screeches and the noises of loud drums were growing closer and closer.

Taking a deep breath in, she decided to move up the nearby flight of stairs. She moved up the stairwell, continuing and continuing until she reached the top. A small room, most likely leading to the rooftop, was before her. It was better to be safe than sorry, she decided, and approached. The roof would be safe, wouldn't it? She was willing to take that chance. She reached forward, twisted the doorknob and threw the door open, cringing as it made a loud, banging noise. She quickly stepped out into the open before hastily shutting the entrance behind her.

She wasn't quite prepared for what she saw after turning around, though. Three individuals stood. They weren't "normal" looking in the slightest, but they were unlike the crazed creatures rampaging outside. A tall young tengu, a luchador, and a tiny young girl were gathered atop of the roof.

"Hello." She stated, abet a little awkwardly. "I hope you're all trying to run away from this mess, too?"
