What rolls do you need to search this room and study the bones?
Cool DnD beyond it is.

Cool, haven’t seen it. Keen to check it out.

In case this was missed.

Thanks, I did miss it sorry.
I don’t mind how you want to track your character.
Mythweavers or Dicecloud will be fine.
You can use an alternate site too as long as it’s functional.
I find them easier than posting all that info on here but if that’s your choice I will allow it.
Is there room for one more?

Yup, sure is. :)
Let me know if you have any questions or ideas.
@Lurking Kroganswered, ;)
2 rolls then standard array.
Seems interesting.

Any specific class/race restrictions?

Pretty open to most, but if a character is too unlikely to fit the setting, too complicated or too OP it probably won’t get selected.
If you are usure on anything just ask.
@IceHeart I’ll get a sheet up in the next few hours :)

Here I’ll answer and update important questions. This is the first 5e game I have hosted.

How many players?: Strictly 3, allows me to make the story about them.

Staring level: 1 with reduced starting gear.

Who makes the roles?: For most part you will make your own roles on this forum with the exception of mental skill checks. Wis, int & Cha based skills. (Not including preform)

Attributes?: 4d6-lowest. Rolled on here and appropriately tagged. You can re-roll once but can’t go back to previous roll if you do. If it still worse you can opt for standard array

How will we track our characters: My preference is Dicecloud or Mythweavers but I will allow any method that is practical and functional.

The town of Ruthgarr, 5 days ride south of dragons spire, east of the sky river and the desert beyond. Somewhere to its south east across the hilly dry plains lies the Elven forest Il’luvia, but no roads lead there. An old dirt path does cut west over the river through the town and up north easterly towards the citadel. It’s a road rarely trodden.

Ruthgarr is a simple place. A place between many places. Small and homely, for nothing really exciting ever happens here. It’s not even a place people travel through, not anymore, not for a long time. Generations have been born and died here. Here in the town of ones. One church, one tavern, one cemetery, one lord, one watchtower, one smith. ect.
It is however filled with honest and hardworking people. They are trusting and open. A mottled lot from all races and backgrounds. Around 300 hundred to be exact, maybe 301 now with Lord Dargen’s latest daughter.

Lord Dargen is the only man permitted to use magic in the town under the law of the latest king, but no one enforces it. Not all the way out here. While there still exists the free states that refuse his rule, Ruthgarr is not one of them, it is simply too small and too far away to be watched over closely. So once a year they pay their pitance and for the rest of it they keep to themselves.

But... this little nothing town is about to get caught up in one of the biggest catastrophic events to ever touch the land.

How will your three young characters influence the coming events?
How will these inexperienced and different individuals alter and change the paths of fate.

The game will start exactly three days before your journey to the northern mountains, to the dragons spire. An honoured pilgrimage undertaken by a child on his name day who considers themselves ready to be viewed as an adult. You are of the age and have trained enough that this should be your last visit, but that is not up to you, it’s a decision that can only be made by the red seer.
It wasn't a sense of camaraderie, worry or concern for his friends that drove Azzen forward, no. It was a simple act of greed. He was quite content to just sit back and let the carnage unfurl in the next room until he realised what was happening. The spell, the light and now the smoke, fear that his belongings were in those barrels drove the bardic tiefling forward.

Quickly assessing the room he would rush over to the fire and move any other flammable objects away from it.
He wasn't concerned about getting too close, just minimising the damage.
