shylarahIn this world, mankind has reached the stars. Technology is at a high point and human beings now live in colonies both on other planets and on space stations. From peace to violence, humans go oh with their new lives on earth or amonst the stars.
However, things would change. In the year 22XX, mankind itself will be tested. A disaster strikes Earth itself. Seemingly without warning, what was thought at first a meteor shower rained on the earth. What was thought to be meteors were actually crystals of what was assumed "alien" origins. How it got past early decection systems without warning is unknown. But what is known is that Earth suddenly changed forever.
It became a contamination zone.
Those unlucky enough to come into contact with said alien crystals during or after the fallout where changed for life. Worse, those "infected" were left behind on Earth after a mass evac took place after the incident.
Now, several years later, nations in outer space have decided to take action in dealing with the "infection" problem due to overpopulation in colonies and not enough resources for all it's people. Authorizing visits to planet Earth but warned of it's dangers, certain individuals and groups make plans to visit the planet for their own reasons.
And some or perhaps all of these individuals...are mecha pilots.

Welcome to the RP ^_^. I'm only sorry that, to me anyways, not fully ready. But at the very least, going to try to put a "character profile" setup here when I get the chance. For those planning to submit a character, please keep in mind that I'm not taking any "infected" characters just yet. If you do have a pilot, soldier or anyone else going on the journery to earth, please post it here in the OOC if you want to show others, and me, the way you set it up. Maybe you can help me establish a propler method for setting up a profile. This space may also get edited out when profile formats and other stuff are finalized.
I'm sorry that I'm keeping you all waiting. While I have done RP's for quite some time, I've never hosted too many. Plus, for those that read my post in the Interest Check area, work has beek keeping me busy. Still, post here if your still interested.
Update 1 - Added Character Profile setup. You can also start submitting character idea's. Mecha pilot, "Infected" or whatever else, I'll start accepting idea's. Please try not to make them overpowered. I'll try to keep an open mind though.
