I found out that Peter Cullen, the voice of Eeyore and Optimus Prime, himself, also provided the vocalizations for the Predator in the first movie. What can't that man do?

Just finished the last three episodes of Arcane. It was a good finale, but I think I'll need to sleep on it to really figure out how I feel about it

Vincent blinked and the spider was gone. He had been so focused on it that he failed to notice Lys approach, though that could also be in part due to how silent her wheels turned. When she returned and offered to take the crate he had been carrying, it took a moment for Vincent to gather himself. Awesome. Now I'm gonna be that guy who's scared of spiders. He quickly put on a grin that hid his embarrassment and said, "Oh, uh, thanks, Lys. For that and the offer, but I'm good. Really. I, uh, was just taken a bit aback by..." After a moment, he realized he was about to make excuses and mentally slapped himself. Oh, come on, Vince, you're better than that! Besides, you know she'll see right through it. He sighed and gave Lys a rare, uncharacteristcally sheepish smile as he said, "Thanks, Lys. But I'm fine, really. Though, since you're offering..."

He picked up another crate, one small enough to fit in Lys' lap, and handed it off to her as he added, "It'll go by a lot faster with you helping out." Just as he said that, he heard another voice address him and turned to find the one-eyed Desmond there, asking if there was anything else to load. "Oh...Desmond, right?" Vincent asked, still doing his best to learn everyone's names. He cast a quick look around the room and picked up a case of ammunition. "I think we're just down to the smaller things, like this," he said as he handed the case off to Desmond with a grin.

He carried his crate back to the van and loaded it up before he took a step back. He took in the sight of everyone going about their tasks as they prepared for the mission ahead. Even someone as dense as he was could pick up on the layer of tension that hung in the air, which was unsurprising given the nature of the job. Vincent was no stranger to fighting large groups of Lost and he was sure many in the group weren't, either. He eagerly threw himself headfirst into such encounters. This time, however, he was with a group. There were other revenants, sure, and Sidhe, but there were also humans. He was perfectly fine getting hurt in battle, but if he let himself get too wrapped up in the fight and someone got hurt due to his inattentiveness? "Guess I'll have to make sure to keep everyone's focus stays on me," he quietly said with a grin as he stepped into his room. "Shouldn't be too hard."

As Vincent followed Dallas to the storage room, he took the time to once more look around the base as he walked. It still amazed him that not only were there so many revenants, Sidhe, and even humans in one place, but that everyone seemed to get along really well. Every time he had tried to put down roots with a group, it never took long for the group to tear itself apart. Sometimes it was something major, like one person cheating on someone else with another of the group, but most of the time it, it seemed to be a series of conflicts that ended with a straw breaking the camel's back. Let's hope this one stays together, he thought as he followed Dallas and Ionna into the storage room.

They weren't inside two seconds when Ionna gathered up three munitions crates and carried them toward the van. Vincent let out a low whistle as he watched the small girl carry the load to the vans. "Well, I'm not about to be outdone by someone almost half my size," he joked as he hoisted a crate onto his right shoulder and another underneath his left arm. He carried the cargo out to the van Ionna was loading, having assumed that was the one for supplies. As he loaded the crates into the back of the van, he decided it was high time to start getting to know his comrades.

As he walked back toward the storage room, he grinned and nodded at Lysandra before he hefted another crate onto his shoulder. He opened his mouth to address the group, but stopped. The color drained from his face and he felt his heart hammering in his chest as he stared at the creature that had appeared in front of him, dangling on a thread so fine, it was almost invisible. It was small, but to Vincent, the eight-legged menace may as well have been as big as a dinner plate. "I...sp...sp-sp..." he tried to say, though in the presence of such a creature, his voice couldn't seem to work.

Vincent had opened his mouth to add to the conversation, but stopped when he heard the sound of someone approaching. From the look on the ashen-haired girl's face told him she noticed it, as well. A moment later, the doors opened to reveal another Sidhe. Shortly after she appeared, Poppy seemed to switch gears. Vincent had heard she was the resident medic, so she must have noticed something about the new Sidhe that flipped her switch from 'leader' to 'doctor.' She paused for just a moment to give an order to the stony-faced man, before telling Vincent and Ionna to help out with loading the van. Vincent grinned and said, "Sure thing, boss! We'll be ready to go before by the time you're done."

Before he joined up with the Commune, Vincent had always thought it was easier on his own. Sure, he was a people person, but when he was on his own, the only thing he really had to worry about was gathering enough blood beads for himself. He figured the resources a group would need, combined with the possibility of infighting, made it seem like more trouble than it was worth. It was more on a whim, combined with the desire to sleep in a warm bed, that Vincent had bothered joining the group at Crow's Nest. After he saw how well everyone seemed to get along, though, he found that his reservations had started to abate, even though so little time had passed.

He was shaken from his musings when he heard Dallas' name and quickly scanned the room. As new as he was, he still had yet to learn everyone's name, so when he found the source of the voice, a young ashen-haired girl, talking to an older, serious-looking man, he figured they must be Ionna and Dallas, respectively. He took a moment to look down at Lys, whom he was still standing next to, and winked at her before he pushed away from the telescope. When he approached Dallas and Ionna, he said, "Alright, looks like I'm all yours. Sooner we get this done, sooner I get to have some fun!"

Bam!

Bam! Bam!

Bam!

Bam, bam, bam!

The impacts, dulled by the closed door, sounded out into the main hall of the Crow's Nest, audible to anyone who happened to walk past. Inside, Vincent's fists slammed into the worn leather of his punching bag as he got his morning workout in. He was a recent addition to the group, having joined up just the day before, yet he had been quick to make himself at home, which would be obvious to anyone who saw the pile of clothes that had already somehow accumulated in the corner. The thought of being part of a team was still weird to him, but if it gave him a decent bed and a roof over his head, he'd work with the Lost if he had to.

It was during a break in his workout that he heard the gathering call. "Well, first day and it looks like I'm already gonna get some action," he mused. He quickly cleaned himself and threw on one of his cleaner shirts, a black sleeveless shirt, before he stepped out of his room. Given that he still had yet to get his bearings, he watched as some of his new comrades headed toward the rear of the building and followed suit. When he entered the room, he listened to Erik's explanation of what their job was, then looked up at the towering telescope when he heard Lys invite those interested to take a look. Eager to see what they (read: he) was up against, Vincent walked over and looked through the eyepiece. When he saw the Lost horde, he let out a low whistle and grinned.

"Yeah, I've got a question," he replied as he lifted his eye away from the telescope. He leaned against it, his tattooed right arm resting against the cold metal, and asked, "When do we head out? I'm excited to knock some Lost heads together!"

Sol and Luna had just been about to enter the school when the former stopped and, in turn, brought Luna to a stop next to him. He was embarrassed to admit it, but he had gotten caught up in his girlfriend's excitement and it had slipped his mind that he was going to meet Eri at the front gate to show her around. "Something wrong?" Luna asked.

"No, nothing's wrong," Sol said as he turned to his girlfriend, "but I've got someone I need to meet up with. I promised her I'd show her around, since she's new. If you want, you can go check out the clubs and I'll meet up with you later."

Luna thought for a moment, then gave her boyfriend one of her trademarked grins. "Nah, they're not going anywhere," she said. "Besides, the more's the merrier, right? Maybe all three of us can find a club!" It wasn't that she didn't trust her boyfriend, given that he had mentioned meeting up with another girl. Luna knew she had nothing to worry about in that respect. She simply enjoyed meeting new people and if this girl was able to get her boyfriend, one of the least sociable people she knew, to take the initiative and offer to show her around, then Luna definitely had to meet her.

Sol smiled and squeezed Luna's hand before the couple turned away from the door. They made the trek from the parking lot to the main gate of the school and found Eri standing off to the side, headphones on her head and her back to them. Sol guided Luna around toward the periphery of Eri's vision, not wanting to startle her, and continued to approach her. When he and Luna were within arm's reach, Sol spoke up, "I'm sorry we kept you waiting, Eri. We just got here not too long ago."
The day began for Sol like any other: up at first light, a shower, followed by brushing his teeth, then he'd spend a few minutes browsing through the news on his phone as he cooked breakfast. All the while, his girlfriend, Luna, would still be sound asleep in their shared bed. Even when they were young, she was never one to wake easily and Sol had quickly learned it was usually better to let her sleep and wake up on her own. Which was usually when she smelled breakfast cooking.

A few moments after he returned to the stove, he heard the soft sound of Luna's bare feet on the floor of their apartment and soon felt her arms wrap around his middle from behind. "Murnin'..." she muttered sleepily as she rested her head on Sol's shoulder.

"Morning to you, too," Sol replied as he rested his head against Luna's. "Got a bit of an earlier start on breakfast than usual. I figured you might have forgotten about sch--"

"Don't say it," Luna grumbled. "You know I'm allergic to that word." She then let out a yawn and let go of her boyfriend. "I'm gonna go clean up and get dressed," Luna said as she trudged back down the hall toward the bathroom. By the time her shower was finished and she had dressed in her clothes for the day, Luna was awake, alert, and, despite how she felt about classes starting back up, she was excited to get the day started. While she knew classes wouldn't start until tomorrow, she was excited to see old friends, make new ones, and improve her abilities.

She and Sol spent the next while eating breakfast while they chatted about this and that until the time came. The couple set their dishes in the sink to be washed later, put their shoes and jackets on, and left their apartment. The drive to school only took ten minutes, so in no time at all, Sol and Luna found themselves back on campus. They left the parking lot and Luna stretched her arms over her head. "So," she said as she dropped her arms and laced her fingers with Sol's, "wanna go check out the clubs? We're here early enough, I bet we could find one we can both join!"

Sol squeezed Luna's hand and gave her a quiet smile. "Sounds like a plan," he replied as they made their way toward one of the main walkways.

Hey, you still looking for players? I've played all the way through Code Vein and I've been hoping to find a good RP to sink my teeth (heh) into!
I've got some interest in this, too. I've got a wolf girl that would be perfect for something like this!
I've only had one or two migraines in my life. If that's all I have, then I'll be happy lol
