I'll be away till Sunday, stuffing my face with traditional turkey and cornbread dressing, pretending to enjoy the company of my family members whom I never see other than holidays.

@Pirouette@Foster@FortunesFadedThank you for your condolences. I will be posting soon to join Scout and Desmond. Most likely later this evening. :)
Question. Could I possibly play as one of the beasts? @End Here

One of the Virtues of not being puritanical about sex is not feeling embarrassed after.

Location
East Market - Just outside an expensive shop
Ready for interaction

Sophia left the tavern for the day to indulge herself for some much needed girl time. She waltzed along the east market, curious green lanterns exploring every detail of the bustling shops and grand variety of people. It was such a joy to be out and away from the drama of her current home. Her dress rustled quietly as she walked from one shop of the next, not looking for anything in particular. She paused just outside of a rather expensive jewelry shop, her green eyes sparkling from the reflection of the display of elegant diamonds and rare gemstones.

"You want me?
I walk down the hallway
You're lucky
The bedroom's my runway."
I struggled with that reply and it is super rushed but hopefully others will post and we can move from the bar. @fij707 This is your roleplay so you should decide where we go. :) If others aren't responding, we can open the rp back up to let more people join.

@User"You fucking asshole!" She glared at the dumbass who had broken the window that sounded the alarm of the van from which she was hiding behind. The zombies immediately were drawn to the loud blaring noise. Moving quickly and silently, she moved out from behind the van and back towards the girl who held a beautifully crafted explosive who then tossed a frying pan to set off another alarm. It was a distraction, but a bad one. It would draw even more zombies to the area. They had to get moving.

She silently motioned to the girl@tigerchuffs along with the others, @fij707@Karl Kadaver to follow her up the side alley which was clear of obstructions. It also appeared to be zombie-free. She walked swiftly, her gun raised in caution. She peered around every car, every door, every corner as she quickly made it to the next cross street. The alley was then blocked by a large semi truck which had crashed into a building. She turned right and continued down the street, searching for a usable car, hoping the others would assist her in the search. Maybe then, they could collaborate and come up with a plan.

Suddenly, a zombie lurched out from behind a large truck and grabbed her. Sarah struggled with the ferocious body that frantically chomped in her direction. It was strong, almost over-powering. Sarah tripped out of panic and fell with the weight of the zombie on top of her. It was a man with piercing blue eyes, eyes that would forever haunt her. The fear was overwhelming and for a moment she froze, staring into those eyes. He then bared down and attempted to bite her.

Instinct took over. Raising the gun, she fired. The bullet traveled quickly and exploded through the back of the man's head. Those eyes were staring at her as the body stilled and flopped down on her. She quickly shoved the body off of her in disgust and struggled to stand but only has the strength to get to her knees. She was gasping for air and shaking, the gun resting on her thigh.
My dad was in a car wreck, so I apologize for the delayed response. @FortunesFaded Is it okay to still tag along with Desmond and Scout or should I try and connect with a different group?
My dad was in a car wreck. I expected this roleplay to be a lot further along by now. What's going on? What did I miss while I was away? I was going to drop out but it appears to not have progressed much at all.

As she scrutinized the small gathering within the bar, it was obvious that most of it's inhabitants were in shock. A few were attempting small talk, while others were trying to prepare for their next move. She didn't give out her name, nor attempted to introduce herself. Now was not the time for that. Walking to the bar, she hoisted her bag onto the top of the bar and slammed it down, making a loud bang. Hopefully, she created a distraction to cease the small talk. "Listen up everyone!" She glanced around and attempted to make eye contact with everyone in the bar. She appeared calm on the outside, optimistic even. Casually, she brushed a strand of her long brunette hair from out of her face. "We need to get out of the city. Now. " Chicago had a very high population and if this zombie outbreak was anything like the ones in the movies, a big city was the worst place to be. "It won't be long before the city is overrun. We have to move fast. Grab anything you see here that you can use as a weapon." As she said this, she stuffed her purse into the backpack, followed by the bottle of the patron, then quickly put both arms through the straps to place the bag comfortably on her back. She looked around once more at the others. She wasn't trying to be heroic, nor a leader. She just figured it was the smartest thing to do. Besides, she did not want to be trapped in this bar forever, no matter how much she loved to drink.

@Karl KadaverA man called out a warning, and Sarah waltzed quickly the door, taking note of the small horde. She noticed their slow speed and intended to use this as a weakness. She then reached within the waistband of her jeans and revealed her 9mm Glock handgun, mainly to give herself confidence. Smiling innocently at the man next to her, she then scanned for escape routes, catching sight of someone running towards someone else who was crouching behind a large van. They had the right idea. She checked her handgun and turned the safety off. She carried one extra C-Mag for her gun which held a boastful 100 rounds. It should be enough to get her and whoever wanted to go with towards the rural area.

Smiling brightly, she glanced back towards the other people in the bar. "After all...what's the number one rule in Zombieland?" And with that, she jogged out of the bar towards the van and away from the oncoming horde. She jogged for a total of ten steps before slowing to a brisk walk, panting from the exertion. Boy...I'm out of shape. She kept her gun at eye level, carefully being aware of her surroundings. Knowing the sound of a firing bullet would attract danger, she would only fire her weapon if it was a life or death situation. Thank you Dad, for dragging me to the gun range and teaching me how to shoot.

@BubbleGumKing@drewccappReaching the van, she paused quickly to tie her hair back into a ponytail so the long strands wouldn't be in her face. Crouching next to the two guys, she once again gave her southern belle smile. "Howdy!" She spoke softly with a Texan accent before turning back to see if anyone had followed her while expertly aiming her 9mm to cover if need be.
