Do we really have to choose the masks our parents gave us? I don't think so, which is why I choose my own.

@HellishWaffle Your fine.

@OppositionJ It looks good, but the only think that sets me off a bit is that it seems Aeterna is at least a decent industrial power, with access to a great amount of Edoniras military invetions. While I am fine with you playing a nation in Hadricia, if you are, I want your industrial and military power to be limited for a while. Besides that a extra one or two paragraphs in history would be nice. Otherwise, everything else looks fine.

If anyone else if finished or would like my thoughts so far, shoot me a poke and I will get on it.
Finished my own app, its up in the dump there.

Edit:Someone do me a favor and get a up-to-date map with everybody's claims so I can update the map in the OP.

I'm the natives. And the Europeans didn't just 'power' through the natives. Sure they fought constantly, but they also allied in some situations for a time. If you just want to power game the shit out of this then I don't want anything to do with it.

Please don't start another argument. Fox is not attempting to power-game, in fact he does not want to. He was trying to find a in-universe reason why not.

Okay then give me a rundown of the natives because I'm trying to figure out a reasonable excuse as to why Numburg can't power through the New World. Can the natives have some sort of magic or something to make them more dangerous than originally thought?

The thing about colonies is they are really expensive to maintain and build. It would be a while before a colony grows to the point of providing for the homeland. Even then, while the Indians did suffer more losses, there were cases where they managed to overwhelm early European Colonies. Besides, initially the Europeans mostly traded with the Natives, so with the colonies are expensive thing in mind as well as the fact that through trade they could acquire weapons, it's easy to justify Numburg not powering through the natives.
No, the Archipelago itself is the colony.

I'm confused. Is the Lancian Empire just a colony? Where is the Home Nation in Algaesia of the Lancian Empire? Also, The Matwe Confederation will have a vague notion of your hostility towards natives-nothing specific due to the distance between Lancia and Matwe proper.

The Lancian Empire is the homeland/father nation(me). As part of a way of keeping the colony managed, it was later federated and put under the Provincial Duke. That is my understanding, anyways.
And your fine.

Edit:If you get accepted, drop your app into the char tab.
I actually had a question regarding the America's, is it alright if we have some fantastical wildlife to hamper colonization efforts?

I was thinking giant killer worms or something of the sort alongside the Native humans.

I am going to say no. I want to limit the more fantastical elements to blue coal and the technology.

@Willy Vereb

If your not planning on joining, I rather you stay out of the OOC.

That is basically the definition of grudge: a persistent feeling of ill will or resentment resulting from a past insult or injury

When did I say I wish ill will or resent Willy? I think he is a fine RPer. The thing is that when someone causes trouble for a GM in one RP, they will do it again for the same GM in a different one. That is why I am colder towards Willy, based on his past actions it's likely he will cause trouble again.
I don't hold grudges. I simply do not put up with shit from players who can't take no for a answer and caused me trouble in the past.
