I have an RP idea in mind where you play either a militarized task force designed to eliminate paranormal activity, or something akin to the Umbrella Secret Service.

I am trying to worldbuild god civs akin to the Time Lords or Xeelee, but so far I've yet to get anything concrete down. It is a tad frustrating, but I'll come up with something eventually. I hope.

@Obscene: And that is true. I might try that with a character I'm making for a fic actually. Though they'll be no-nonsense in a largely jovial kind of way.

Yeah. Static was just what popped into my head as the closest descriptor since those are less focused on the character's arc or internal struggle. Not the best wording to use admittedly.

I just want more protagonists with that same resolve, or barring that ones who aren't confused young adults looking to find their place in life analogues.

I hope that's okay; Pertius will mainly be the size of a small cat that can perch across Arterius' shoulders.

>That's fine. I'd say go ahead and move it to the characters tab of the main post.
Hi! Sorry I was going to look into this yesterday but totally forgot about it. (Because I'm smart I promise)
If there's still room, I'd love to join and bring in a God/Gods (Assuming playing two characters is okay? Maybe like a God and a God-pet?)

>I can cap it at six players total (counting myself in that), but a pet would be fine assuming they can fit in a normal RV.

I'll not waste time on frills or aesthetics. The premise is simple. Gods go on a road trip in an RV that functions like a TARDIS, but instead of dematerializing and rematerializing, it drives places. Like, say, through space and time. Rules are also simple, and being adults who are capable of reading, I assume that I don't need to acquaint you with the ones employed on this site. Post length is also up to one's own discretion. So long as you have something of substance it can be as short or long as you like. Beyond that I'm looking to run this with a fairly small group of people, and I'd appreciate it if you let your fellow writers know when you are unable to make a post rather than vanishing outright. Finally, character sheets aren't necessarily required, but I've provided a template regardless just in case you want to make use of one.

Note: Not every god needs a domain. Some have many, yet are weak, and some have none but are powerful. Also, as for the nature and demeanor section of the sheet, it's basically your character's personality by another name. I've only labeled it that way in case anyone wants to use Vampire the Masquerade archetypes (such as myself). Lastly, no, I do not want to see faceclaims of real people. Art is fine however.

Anyway, that should be it unless I've forgotten something.

@Chris488

"No reason in particular," he lied as easily as one might breathe. "I was actually out on a stroll when I ended up here."

Samael contorted his features to display the perfect amount of confusion. Enough to be believable, yet nowhere near enough to push Anath suspicion-laden territory.

"Still not sure how that happened if I'm being honest, but I suppose that's just another one of life's many mysteries for you."

A pause, unintentional, but useful for allowing the deception to settle in nonetheless.

"What about you?" he asked, propping his fist beneath his chin as he leaned forward. Appearing and sounding more interested in her arrival than he really was. "Why'd you come here? It doesn't seem like the kind of place someone like you would frequent..."

He flashed her a disarming smile and gestured to her admittedly extravagant choice of dress.

"No offense of course!"
@Zyx aahhh whose to say we can't shove a few in the trunk. By the way does it look like a straight up traditional RV or what? Like what are we going to be traveling in what does it look like?

>Regular RV. Maybe with a bit of additions and what modern humans would consider invulnerability, but I wasn't joking when I said we're driving places.

>Mostly because the idea of several deities, some of whom look straight up inhuman, all piling into a regular looking vehicle from 21st century Earth incredibly amusing.
interesting concept space for one more? trying to diversify my games... heh never done modern days games...

>That tag is there more for inclusion. I could have included any of the era or time tags in the check since we can just drive into the past if we like.

>We are playing gods after all. Physics? Logic? Lesser things for lesser beings.

>Also, sidenote, but I still need to figure out the actual plot. Like the base idea is eye-catching enough, but I've yet to even decide whether or not we should go to pre-existing universes or settings, so like fandom basically, or if we should stick with completely original locations. Or hell, if people want to dust off old RP worlds we could also go there. Regardless, I hope the uncertainty on that part doesn't dampen anyone's mood. I try to have at least an outline for things, but you can't plan for everything in a roleplay.
@Zyx
I have no intention of overwhelming you, but if you're willing to accept another player, then I would like to join as well.

>I can squeeze in one more, but I'm not going higher than five participants in total. The RV functions like a TARDIS, it is not bigger on the inside like one, so any more deities and we'll be quite cramped.
>Alright, got my character done. Totally not copying the Dark Tower. Not at all.
