(This for their hair colour)ArteriusAndrogynous || Eternal || The Wild Lands
"Nature is Unpredictable, and so ss my temper; so don't try me."▬▬ Nature & Demeanor ▬▬
Arterius, for the most part, is kind, bubbly and often called 'childish' compared to other gods and goddesses. They have a ongoing love for anything in nature; alive or dead.
They can be serious when needed to be, but they're usually laid back and playful; happy to make jokes and go on adventures with anyone who offers them a good adventure. They can be charming when they need to be, and have a hidden temper if anyone messes with anyone they care for.
They're seen as a 'newer god' to others, due to their physical age and mental age.▬▬ Biography ▬▬
Arterius is said to be one of the main deities for Wood Elves and Fae, said to stay in the Wild Lands unless called upon by champions.
Arterius is said to have a large dragon companion, who is rumoured to twist and change in size, named Pertius.
They would be keeping watch of the natural world, until they found out about a vacation, and with Pertius on their shoulder they gate crashed and joined the group.▬▬ Domain/Abilities ▬▬
The Wild Lands are said to be an ever-shifting landscape of fields, trees and everything a hunter or prey would ever need.
A large chair sits in a crumbled castle, where Arterius would normally be resting with Pertius; In his larger form, curled up around the chair protectively.
Arterius' abilities are often seen as, well, not the most powerful, but to them; it's all they need.
- Plant Control
- Animal Communication and Manipulation
- Ability to Float
- Plant Communication
Pertius' abilities are rather simple, as he is a rather simple dragon;
- Flight
- Size Change
- Fire Breathing
QhiuleriFemale || Eternal || war/fire
"Fire made first life. But conflict made it change and thrive."▬▬ Nature & Demeanor ▬▬
Qhiuleri is difficult to know; her nature seems split, bipolar by the person who seeks to understand, quick to anger and easy to be carried by emotions at times led by passion and joy of life. Qhiukeri as well seems to bounce out of said act as in times of stress or simply worry as she seems to lose any semblance of her more emotional side becoming rather cold and calculating. Trying to see where she lands is difficult most of the time. She is more energetic and friendly, but other times she might be a bit thinking too much but said jumps don't happen all the time generally they happen in large intervals.
She also has a tendency to prefer solitude depending on her mood swings, a major quirk that while minor, might exist thanks to her long age.▬▬ Biography ▬▬
It is said that once reality began the first beings were creation, destruction, time and space, its children being the powers to first come. Amongst the first generation was Qhiuleri as fire was the first creation of reality Qhiuleri was fire made flesh but also conflict made flesh. She fed from the flames of the first wars and the fires used to warm homes being beside mortals since the invention of mortals, liking to see them fight but also use her fires to make new creations and new tools of conflict.
As time went on, one can argue her bipolarity began as her usual flames of madness in conflict from her birth split. Her new self quickly became calculating and stoic at times besides her more impulsive actions, possibly a fight of minds brought on also by how war changed. From initially an action of brutality and savagery to slowly having rules and codes of honor. Her worship of mortals is difficult to guess; some see her as a butcher, others a true warrior queen. But for her view of her followers she prefers to wander amongst them as she feels closer to the races beneath her then to other things.▬▬ Domain/Abilities ▬▬
The Infernal Domain: The home of the home war and fire and source of Qhiuleri’s power. It's a mixture of fire and war, a source of warmth, power and some may argue life but also flames of conflict fueled by a state of perpetual conflict. Its power echoes in the world in different ways, one of the ways being the heat of the fires of the world, the fire that rages within the emotions of man, or simply the bloodshed of war and the conflict of the world.
The domain grants Qhiuleri the power to control fire, flames and even the heat of things. But at the same time the Infernal domain as a split between fire and war grants also to Qhiuleri the ability to be the greatest fighter in the world, together with the boon of blessing weapons or helping either directly or indirectly how battles no matter small go.
~Aryion~Male || Timeless || Shadows
"In the shadows hide secrets, only the blind can truly see."▬▬ Nature & Demeanor ▬▬
Darkness, is a simple concept for the mortal mind to comprehend; it cannot be seen without casting it out, but casts shadows with light about. Yet it is so much more, the darkness hides things and obscures what the mortal mind perceives. It makes men see shapes in the dark, like boogeymen and shadow people.
The darkness is only as strong as man perceives it is, fear can make the most harmless of dark apparitions into something more. Aryion hides in all darkness, watching but never interferes. He doesn't understand what mortals fear of the dark, but understanding what the mortal mind fears is fascinating to him sometimes to the detriment to human life.
Of which he does not understand nor seem to care for its value.
Aryion, views the world as though it were a mystery. Everything seems to fascinate him though he is incapable of expressing exclamation or surprise. The god is stoic and almost devoid of emotion, the most expression he is capable of is irritation at the constant interruption of the light.
When darkness came so did the light, and like the light Ki'ryah always seems to find a way to find him. No matter how much he tries to spend time in the darkness watching the infinite cosmos, the light of his sister is inescapable. She sees life in a way he doesn't, life is a puzzle to the god of shadows whereas to Ki'ryah it is a wonderful picture.
Out of all the gods and all the universes, Aryion and Ki'ryah represent a balance but also an imbalance in one another. Aryion is devoid of emotion, incapable of valuing life but still fascinated by it and Ki'ryah loves all things and cherishes it but does not understand it fully as her brother does.
Though the goddess of light seems to make him express what little emotion he has whenever she spends her time pestering him.▬▬ Biography ▬▬
For as long as the world was alive there was always darkness even in the wake of light. Nobody knows where the shadows came from, but if it were not for the light there would be no shadows to cast. For time immemorial, the shadowy figure has existed and watched the worlds, mortals who chanced him could only comprehend him as a shade or something of a trick of the imagination.
Human's fear the things they do not understand and for as long as they have existed ao to has their primal fear of what hides in the shadows. Yet it was always him, the only secret he didn't understand was the human mind. For as a god, he was not bound by impermanent flesh or a mind that could deteriorate or change. To a god, a mortal is a mysterious creature that is capable of change.
Over time like his counterpart, the darkness took form but unlike Ki'ryah the god of shadows has never been comfortable in a shape other than his incorporeal form.▬▬ Domain/Abilities ▬▬
The Domain of Shadows: The source of all that is obscure, all that hides and tricks the untrained eye. Darkness is the source of Aryion's powers, it is not easily perceived let alone understood. It is infinite yet impermanent, and powerful yet powerless. Sometimes shadows are only as strong as those who see them believe.
The domain of shadows grants Aryion the power to manipulate darkness, create things from it like images or apparitions or assume its shape and hide within it. He himself is incapable of physically harming any being yet his apparitions may inadvertently cause harm or death to mortal life. The domain of shadows allows him to easily hide from sight, yet it cannot hide him from the light that which casts away the darkness.
Supposedly, he is privvy to forbidden secrets and the untold knowledge of the cosmos. And while the domain does give him insight into the darkest of knowledge he is still stumped by something as simple as the human mind.
~Ki'ryah~Female || Timeless || Light and healing
"May the light guide you and the fire heal your soul."▬▬ Nature & Demeanor ▬▬
From a distance and the perspective of mortals Ki'ryah is thought to be gentle and caring. Nurturing and full of grace She's thought to be regal in appearance and action. Whilst the first part may be true the latter is a role she can play well albeit only a façade.
Many would be surprised to see the clumsy and excitable being she is. Although time has humbled and calmed her (even she cannot keep up with some of the younger and more vibrant deities) she still sees wonder in the mortal world and is often ignited by it. In dark times when many would consider ill of the mortal worlds she was there to advocate for it. Ki'ryah's single-mindness often fuels her fierce passion in advocating for the mortal realm and its people. For as far as her care reaches, she cannot comprehend why many do not think the way she does, nor does she do well in trying. Her brother, for example, does not see life through the same lens as her and she has a lifelong determination to make him understand whilst never trying to see his views for herself. She is as stubborn as the will of kings.▬▬ Biography ▬▬
"For where there is darkness there must also be light for one cannot exist in the absence of the other"
For as long as the world was alive there was always light to illuminate the shadows. Although the mortals have never known if it were light or her goddess that came first it is known she came alongside the master of darkness. Although she has a 'more divine' form in the appearance of the brightest light itself she used to commonly take up a more humanlike form to walk among the world's people, so much so she eventually felt more herself in this form. When she is not wandering the mortal realms she remains close to her brother, he calls it her 'not leaving him the hell alone', she calls it comforting.
The opportunity to explore the mortal world with other deities, including her brother, was one she was never going to turn down.▬▬ Domain/Abilities ▬▬
Ki'ryah's domain is wherever a light is shining, from the dimmest candle to the brilliant rays of the sun itself. She can wield light itself from the likes of comfort-creating campfires to beams of immense power. She was once known to use light to help comfort and guide humans she favours.
She also works under the healing domain; able to heal the nastiest of wounds. She can also comfort and heal the soul. She cannot revive the dead, as soon as the last light of a life fades they are in the hands of deities of death.
~Anath Homura~She/Her || Age: XV || HonorThe Usurper || The Red Goddess of Rebellion || The Throne ThiefThe Highest Judge || The Serene & Exalted Emperor || The Creatrix"Always honor your life and livelihood, lest I lay claim to the little you have..."▬▬ Nature & Demeanor ▬▬
Her Nature:
Martyr. Anath Homura has a willingness to suffer should enduring such bring any betterment to all others, always sharing her strength during times of strife and sorrow. However - She will sacrifice herself in a myriad of ways which many mortals could not comprehend, so she commonly serves the cosmos without receiving reward or respite which slowly spreads across the shape of her soul in scars and symbols called the Stigma. Despite this torture always afflicting her, she continually converts the stigma into cosmic power she calls the Gnosis, also known as sorcery. She gifts this power to the people, providing them with sorcery and spirit while she prevents their pain through sacred silence on her part to play.
Her Demeanor:
Judge. Anath Homura has a disciplined and dangerous mien, often gazing upon others with piercing conviction in her sole eye. There is sacred truth in her sight, illuminating those that are seen and always reflecting the real shape of the world. Before others, she appears as a young maiden with ruby-red hair held back by a black ribbon, loosely hanging behind her head like a fiery limb, and softly swaying. She commonly carries a golden glaive that possesses otherworldly power, and upon close inspection it shines with the celestial strength of a thousand-thousand suns. Lastly, she adorns herself in an elegant scarlet attire consisting of a complex yet simultaneously simple composition. A simple-minded poet would say she is similar to the loveliest of roses with terribly long and sharp thorns.▬▬ Biography ▬▬
Because of her consumption of the Black Seed and successive sowing of the White Flower, the beginning of Anath Homura becomes an intricate weave of creation and annihilation. She has dreamed of otherworlds, and awakened from her slumber. She has seen what awaits at the bottom of the abyss. She has danced and sang with the stars, and also shunned them in silence. She refracted herself, shattering into infinite colors and concepts, until she recalled all of the pieces and was whole again. She has been both the created and the creatrix, always traveling upon the Sacred Path. This journey is just another step.▬▬ Domain/Abilities ▬▬
Her Domain:
Honor. To be honorable is to adhere to a code of conduct. Honor consists of sacred laws that preserve the order and sanctity of existence, and manifests as virtue, valor, truth, and compassion. Without honor, an individual cannot be respected. Without honor, a society cannot be secure. Honor is the nobility of an individual, and the spiritual structure and integrity of a society. Honor begets order and strength against chaos and despair.
Honor requires sacrifice. Honor is the truth. The law is honor. Honor is dead.
In the world, honor must be upheld. When faith and dignity fade, Homura will restore their honor, or purge that which putrefies the beauty of creation. Honor is the armor that wards the world from the vile presence of corruption, and Homura invokes the power of oaths when mortals make their vows and perform their pledges. Those that break their oaths are cursed in accordance to the punishment prescribed when the oath was taken. To speak a lie is to gain the ire of Homura. Honor is the blade against the untruth, and Homura magically marks those that have committed crimes against the self and the world with dreadful runes that reveal their shameful nature. Only those that have been redeemed can be freed from their punishment.
As a goddess, Homura's presence evokes the power of honor and invests virtuous mortals near her with courage and strength. She strives to introduce and incorporate laws and rules within society in order to produce more honorable people in the world. Honor begets order, and commands respect; through her edict, Homura can imbue mortals with an imperious aura that instills in others an innate knowledge of their rank in society and reputation among their peers. Only through creating such a foundation can there be sacred change and beauty, an awakening of what it means to be divine, and a line that separates mere nihilistic motion from defiant endeavors.
Her Abilities:
Red Sorcery. This ability allows Anath Homura to warp existing inanimate matter through speech, often transmuting, animating, transfiguring, bending, or manipulating it; it is often signified by the red hue induced by applying it (lines of red and red words) and the red hued effects (red petals, red globs of potential)
White Sorcery. This ability allows Anath Homura to transport herself through teleportation; in addition to self-transformation; she projects astral shapes and artifacts forged from her soul. She had enhanced and new senses or methods of perception, as well as the enhancement or addition of natural capabilities like great strength or invulnerability; this sorcery is often signified by white lightning.
Red/White Sorcery. This ability allows Anath Homura to twist and alter another living being, applying the capabilities of the White & Red sorcery simultaneously on another entity, often used by others maliciously by changing the physical form or mental state of their opponents, allowing cursed red speech that instantly subdue, confuse, silence, or kill, transfiguration into trees or structures, but primarily used by Anath Homura to benevolently grant an allied warrior impenetrable flesh or immense strength, and shape-shift herself when she wants.
Black Sorcery. This ability allows Anath Homura to create something from nothing, accessing the direct ex nihilo creation of matter, energy, and life, as the Multiplicity did in when they formed the infinite universe. This sorcery is signified by the presence of the Stigma.
