Lusius didn't see Shai sprint out the hole in the house to make an escape, but he sure did hear her which made him turn his head around a tad to see the tailed frame of Shai run out into the forest. Craning his head slightly he had a few curious thoughts pass through his mind, but before long went back to cooking up his morsels thinking that she'd be back soon. Her words made it seem like she was indebted to him and she seemed like a nice enough sort to not go back on her word.

As the bacon began to sizzle over the mini hearth made into the counter he cracked the eggs to join the heated surface on a separate pan. Before the eggs were ready to pull from the pan he heard a returning Shai run up the cleared out space of his common room to deposit a large collection of what looked like weeds and pulled up grass. With an almost practiced efficiency she went about grinding, dicing, and applying them in way Lusius was familiar withh, but he couldn't even begin to gauge what her intent was.

Though he wasn't allowed to guess much longer as she turned to him and in an almost playfully stern way he was kicked out of his own kitchen, food still on the burner. Lusius opened his mouth to protest, turning around at teh same time but before he could get a word out Shai shoved him again making him turn back around lest he fall on his face. Once again he opened his mouth to protest but she spoke up again to tell him to sit, running around to his front to bop him on his nose which did make him recoil back a step only to find the lip of a chair that did in fact put him on his butt a bit roughly. Before he could even formulate what just happened she ran back to the kitchen claiming she's amaze him with her cooking prowess.

Taking a moment to think and just process what just happened he almost took offense. He was just kicked out of his own kitchen, thrown into a chair like some old man, told to sit like a dog, and the worst part was... was... What was that smell? It smelled good. Turning his head still in the chair he looked over to Shai's almost wagging tail as she made a rather magical breakfast. Maybe he should just sit down and let her work. After all she seemed to be doing a great job and he was still sore from all the work last night... "Ok ok ok. I'll stay but if you need me for anything just let me know. And I'm doing the dishes! I won't sit here like a cripple while you slave away!" He called to her before turning to sit comfortably in the chair to patiently wait for her to be ready.

Lusius looked back at Shai as she spoke of his start, but thankfully moved away from it rather quick to talk about food, which at this point sounded much better and of course it made sure that the topic of his start was put on the back burner. The biggest impact though was how it made Lusius feel... Now they were talking about food and it had been awhile since he had a good full meal. In fact he couldn't even say he ate more than some snacks yesterday. That in turn meant that this breakfast was going to be a very big one. "It's ok. Thank you for the offer, but I won't let you cook for me without at least a little help. So come on, let's cook for each other and call it fair." He said to Shai starting to move towards the blanket covered stairs before realizing that it would be cold downstairs with the large hole in his home that they had bigger last night. So he turned around to grab a jacket to better shield himself from the chills.

That was when he heard Shai's second bit though and as her words of concern and caring hit him he paused in putting on his jacket for just a moment before finally slipping it on and looking right at Shai to say, "I... Don't worry about me ok. Thank you, but I just... We can talk about it later. Right now let's just get some food. I'm really hungry and I'm sure you are too." He said just in the hopes of changing the topic, but then she said about how they could change the future and how she thought about him. It was... warming. Turning back to her he walked up to her almost kind of aggressively before wrapping his arms around her in a warm and gentle hug. "Thank you... but uh... Let's go get some food. He said, letting go of his hug and reaching for another jacket of his to offer to Shai. "It's going to be a little chilly down there, this should help."

From there he went to the stairs to lift up the blanket letting a cool rush of morning air get into the room before he vanished under it, moving downstairs to make his way through the mostly removed common room to enter the kitchen where he started to wish out pans and utensils for which he could start preparing some toast, eggs, bacon, drinks, as well as some other bits for seasoning as well as jams for using with the other foods they would prepare in due time.

Lusius was asleep rather quickly, but perhaps not as totally asleep as Shai may have thought when she came to give him another blanket. Though one couldn't say he was fully conscious, he still felt the additional warmth and he subconsciously heard her words, bringign them to his dreams. Yet what had the most impact was the kiss. He couldn't feel it, or even knew that it happened, but deep inside and in the confines of his dreams he felt... well just warm. That night he had very pleasant and joyous dreams which was a very welcome change of pace.

Though as the night went on his happy place was soon over shadowed by the hate and rage within him and before long he was twitching and clenching his eyes in his sleep, every so often making very gentle pained sounds. Deep in his mind he was once again pained by reliving that fateful day that he lost everything and became this... monster, but like always... He wasn't running from the monster, he was the monster slaughtering all his friends and family only to be impaled by a young Lusius that made him start awake.

With a sharp intake of breath he jolted awake, eyes wide and looking around the room to gather his bearings. He got better very quickly almost as if this was something he did on a regular basis and when he was better he looked to see Shai meditating and flourishing her dice and cards around on his bed. It was sure a weird sight to be honest especially that jus tthe other day he'd kill somebody for doign something like that. But now... all he could think about was how cute she still looked in his clothes that were clearly too big for her.

Taking a moment to stretch he stood up and started to move around the room to move out his tired and relaxed muscles as well as his aches. He didn't want to make things awkward by stripping in from of Shai so he was a bit sore from sleeping in his clothes, pants, as well as even parts of his armored clothing. "Good morning. Sleep well?" He asked of Shai seeing that she was a tad alert and apparently had been for a bit. Not only to try and be a little kind to her, but also in an effort to sort of guide the conversation in the event she had seem his startled awakening. "If you give me a bit I should be able to make us something for breakfast. The storeroom and kitchen were thankfully unscorched, but we won't be able to boil anything as I had to smash the water reserve to help fight the fires. He offered as a sort of way to get the say started, but really reminding himself of the massive damage to his home wasn't something that made him happy. Regardless, at least things were moving towards a better future and even better solution.

@Ellion Ok, but just know that we will miss your kawaii carbs in the form of sliced (probably oven raised) homemade dough.

Which is a fancy way of saying... take care of your real life, but know that we both miss and support you.

Aiden could really only watch and listen as the tone and even aura around the little ground changed. Roxy being the center point of it... The professor though was telling them a rather sad and cruel tale. After all who would be mean enough to not only charge right into a public sight without care for it's future, but also to then attack and shut out anybody else nearby depriving them of the chance to share what should be everybody's. It was all just... very uncool. Though Roxy seemed to be taking it the hardest. He did share her absolute love and adoration with ruins and the things found within, but he still new that they were a wonder and should be preserved. Just well... Maybe he wasn't ready to kill over it... As when Roxy made the remark his face changed to one of surprise as he looked tos ee if that was still the same Roxy he left Beryllium City with.

Novis seemed to be in the same boat, ready for... something, but knowing him it was probably just more action. Regardless he once again was ready to charge head first into the fray with reckless abandon. And with Neir playing with Zorex who was at one point showing concern for Roxy, but now was just enveloped in the idea of playing and having more fun. Plus the idea of another battle was just... too awesome for him! So much like Roxy, Lucina, Aela, Novis, and Neir, Zorex went after them towards the ruins ready to go and have a grand old time.

Yet through it all Aiden couldn't help but think it may be a good idea to bring another friend to the party... It had been awhile and Aiden was hoping for their first meeting to be in a nice and clean Pokemon Center, but really at this point it may just be a good idea to say hello already! So pulling out his only other used Pokeball he took out his Revive and tossed the ball. In a flash a fainted Larvitar arrived at the scene and Aiden was quick to head over and administer the Revive bringing the little guy back from his unconsious and dazed state to see Aiden holding him close to make sure he was alright.

Blinking a few times he looked around to see the strange new places, curious but strangely calm through it all. Though being held and carried was NOT his idea of a good time and so he began to wiggle and struggle to get free, but the moment he was he looked back up at Aiden with his head tilted to one side.

It was then Aiden spoke up to say, "Well hey there buddy. Feeling better?" He started to say, just to try and break the ice, though he knew that the poor little guy was rather battered from the fight and he could still see it, so to better help out Aiden pulled a Potion from his bag, "Here, this will help a little. I promise!" With that he aimed the spray bottle at the Larvitar who just tilted his head the other way in reaction. Upon being sprayed though he blinked a few times and shook his head, not really expecting the result that had come of it. But he knew that it was working as his body hurt less and less.

"Name's Aiden." Aiden said, holdin out his hand to shake and while the Larvitar didn't shake it, he did walk up to it and slapped his palm, almost like giving a low five. This of course made Aiden chuckle a bit before saying, "I think we shoudl get you a name. How does... Well uh... How does Acano sound?" Aiden offered to which the little Larvitar got a big open mouth smile on his face before giving a call and cheering. Only to then slap Aiden's hand again. "Ok Acano it is. Come on though I think we're getting left behind!" Aiden said pointing ahead to the rest of his ground stomping away. From there the two new friends ran off to catch up with the group as they entered the ruins, ready for... well who could say, but one thing was certain... This was going to be another adventure!

@Ellion Like I said before I know how life can sometimes be and what we need to do to deal with it. Just know that that I eagerly await your post so Lusias and Shai can go back to being adorable.

@Ellion Don't say that. We all have life stuff and often that is WAY more important. I just wanted to know if I had to make another post or wait for ya'll.

Also is Isaac cool or should I do a thing to adjust?
