@pugbutterLetting you know that I couldn't find a suitable realistic drawing of what his usual gear looks like, so I made it using the heromachine web browser application. If that's unacceptable, I'll try to find something similar to what I want. (I put it in a hider partially because of this message, partially because the images are big. I can take it out of a hider when the OOC is up if you want)

  • He's taken up the name Roach after an old friend complimented his ability to survive in the harshest environments, saying "You're like a goddamned roach, ya know that?"
  • Some people have mistaken his accent for that of a British isles native, and thusly call him 'Guinness'(He hates it), others realize he's an Aussie and just call him that, or some variation(Aus, That fucking Aussie madman, etc.)

  • He's in his mid-30s, though he's spent so long in the wilds of the world, he's lost track of his age from not celebrating birthdays

  • Some would call him brave, others foolish, but everyone can agree on one thing: He's a madman. He's constantly putting himself in harms way for the thrill, living in the most inhospitable environments imaginable. He's also surprisingly upbeat given the environments, and people tend to take that as some form of mental illness. He tries to get along with others, but they find his constant manic outlook to be unnerving, and tend to distance themselves from him. He doesn't like hurting other humans, but he won't hesitate to kill someone if it means saving his own hide. He spends most of his time just walking the Zone, gathering supplies for the day, and trying to brighten the day of whoever he meets. Overall, he's just a crazy outlier in the world of the Zones, though he does have a grimmer side that shows itself when he drinks, or has time to think for long periods.
• 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲:
  
  • Born and raised in rural Australia, Oscar was always at home in the wild. Growing up, he spent most of his free time outside, trying to see how far out he could get into the wild before it was time to go back home. He took great fascination in the wildlife and foliage as well, watching the animals, running from the more dangerous ones, and eventually learning how to scare them off. When he became an adult, he spent a brief time in the Australian army, becoming familiar with weapons and survival training, and seeking a 'grand adventure'. The army did not provide this, with most activities being training exercises. So he decided to seek out real thrills with the one thing he new best, the wilderness. This put him on the path of becoming a solo survivalist, living out in the wilds of the world, trying to live for the the fun of it. Starting out by making a living in the Outback desert of his homeland, living off the land. After that he tried different environments, the Amazon jungle, the Sahara desert, the lower Arctic, and now one of the Zones.
• 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬:
  
  • Weapon 1; "Old Bess", .357 lever-action carbine, given its name by a friend of Oscar's, who gave it to him, for its reliability. Click Here!
  • Weapon 2; "Chance", .357 single-action revolver. Given its nickname for the fact that Oscar only ever loads it with five of the six rounds in a full chamber before spinning the chamber, leaving it up to chance if he can shoot first or not. Click Here!
  • Weapon 3; "Blackout", a Ka-Bar-style knife given its name after a particular night Oscar was out drinking, where he woke up shirtless, five miles from town, with the knife laying next to him. Click Here!

@pugbutterQuestion about a character idea: Can I play an Australian survivalist who found the Outback too easy to live in, so he moved to Europe to try his luck in one of the Zones?

As for running a more direct antagonist alongside her: I'm a bit hesitant. I'd like to, because we could use it, but I really don't like making special exceptions for players, it just doesn't feel right. So I dunno.

Weird Roleplay Ideas You're Afraid To Pitch?

After looking up the new SyFy show Incorporated, I kind of want to run a similar style of NRP with massive multinational companies taking the place of nations although I don't have enough time I think atm and that there's going to be some issues with how to play it out. Like how deep into economics and business to get and the world/other stuff beyond the dystopian capitalism incarnate.

@FantasyChicLooks awesome to me, go ahead and throw it over into the characters tab! I'm eager to see her in action.

@LeotamerI'd imagine that his parents were founding members of the Rutherford Organization alongside Sven and Victor, and that Sven was likely a well-known family friend, constantly visiting to discuss business and work out plans. This would probably mean that Sven and Alexander are familiar with each other, enough for Sven to offer him an invitation to join when he came of age, and that Alexander knows Sven was friendly with his parents, but I doubt they're TOO familiar with each other beyond that.

@Tsar Gatto@LordZell As far as bad guys are concerned: I'm fine with just about any nationality/origin, but I would like to see a bit of mixing things up. For Tsar, I really like both the Femme Fatale idea(A possible rival to Georgina?), as well as the ex-Catholic. As for you, Zell, I'd be okay with the SS officer idea(We could tie him in as an old rival to Sven from during the Great War), but if you think of something that works better with our current party composition, feel free to give it a go.
