That's good, haha! I was starting to get worried~ take your time! :D
If anyone's confused, the smell is the scent of an angel. Velia has never properly met one before so isn't familiar with them XD
The sudden eruption of anger coming from the elder vampire caused Velia to clap her hands in a gleeful manner. She knew that it would be a good idea to come this way. Staring up at the fairy, her eyes narrowed for a second, calculating. After a second of glaring at the being, she let out a laugh similar to that of ringing bells.

"I've always wanted to taste fairy blood." She exclaimed, reaching up as if she could pluck the winged creature from the sky. She could probably have jumped up and grabbed it if she had to, but instead remained dancing around dizzily on the ground and following its movements. The clink of bottles being rummaged drew Velia's attention once more to Caezel. He seemed to be looking for something, probably one of his fancy potions. It was when she was watching him that something peculiar came to mind.

Why was she here in the first place? Why was he? Sniffing once, a scent so pure, so filled with goodness reached her. She scrunched up her nose and gagged, "What on earth is that smell?!" She demanded, stomping her foot in a child-like manner. "It reeks of light!" She turned around and around, trying to locate the source of the scent.

Sorry for me just dropping Velia into the party, but she needs the attention or she'll probably explode XD I literally had a post set up and then read Cucco's and added the little sentence at the end since I'm super tired, otherwise I would've made her interact with more characters :)
It had taken Velia a good few minutes for her to gather her bearings and snap out of her previous anger. Her stance was now visibly more relaxed, yet her eyes still held that reddish hue and her lips were drawn up in an annoyed grimace. This laughing being had caused quite a stir in the Dark Side, as if even the rotting trees were anxious to discover the source of the bubble of warmth. All this attention was meant to be directed towards her, not some stupid child of the light. Well, if this inconviniece was a bubble- Velia intended to burst it.

The vampire, having regained her composure, once again started to dodge in and out of the foliage in her usual graceful manner. As she neared the border, an area that she was not so familiar with, an array of sounds reached her ears. What reckless people, not bothering to at least try and conceal their whereabouts. And they reeked of goodness and 'purity', causing Velia's nose to scrunch up in disgust. However, it was one scent in particular that caught her attention. A familiar one with the tinge of magic and herbs. Caezel.

Was he following the laughter too? Perhaps, just maybe, he could help her tear it limb from limb and watch the life drain from its eyes. Maybe.

Velia made to follow the familiar scent, but a movement from the corner of her eye caused her to turn. A figure was stepping from the light lands into the dark lands! She hesitated, torn between finding her fellow vampire ally and investigating this figure more thoroughly. As her keen eyes focuses on him, she groaned. Dammit. He was handsome too. "Decisions, decisions." She muttered, tapping her chin thoughtfully as if she was in some sort of drama. Screw it.

Turning away from the stranger, Velia returned to what she was originally doing and followed the scent she was sure belonged to Caezel. It wasn't long before another figure came into view, this one descending from a position in the canopy of leaves above. She tutted as multiple cracks seemed to be emitted from the figure's knees. However, it was this sound that assured the vampire knew who she was following.

Waiting until he stopped in his tracks, Velia approached the elder vampire with the stealth of a hunter. A malevolent grin stretched across her lips as she recognised his stance to be that of concealment; as if he was holding back from something. "You've become awfully loud, my darling." She purred, now standing only metres away from Caezel. She had not yet noticed who he had been watching, her full attention now trained on him. In fact, she barely even registered the fairy flying overhead.

@Ace of flames01 are you wanting a strict posting order? Or will we just post whenever we feel necessary? ^^

Bored bored bored. From the moment she awoke, Velia could feel the day dripping with nothingness. It was days like this that she would be caught doing the most absurd things, the most reckless things, the most dangerous things. The outfit in which she wore seemed to highlight her need for attention, especially the cross dangling from her neck. It was something she loved doing, wearing and displaying the small ironies in life.

Slipping out into the night air, a smirk tugged at her lips as her breath came out as a cloud of white. A human would perhaps be shivering in what little clothes Velia was wearing, yet Velia felt nothing. It was bliss. Letting a contented sigh escape past her lips, she darted in amongst the dead, rotting foliage surrounding her. To the untrained eye, all that could be seen was a blur of white as her hair was blown behind her. She didn't have a reason for doing any of this. She rarely did have a reason for doing anything anymore, but, as per usual, she did it to pass the time. That was the one thing she disliked most about being a vampire: time. She had far too much of it.

Velia, having decided her boots were not comfortable enough, continued to dance and skip her way through the forest now barefoot. The dull ache at the back of her throat told her that soon she needed to feed, but it wasn't urgent. Yet. She had met vampires that had built up a tolerance towards blood, only needing to feed once a fortnight or so. She scoffed at the thought; feeding on human blood was a vampire's true calling. To ignore such instincts was as if they were rejecting the fact that they were vampires. Velia loved the thrill of the hunt, how it took over every fibre in her body and turned her into a pure predator.

"Speaking of vampires." Her smooth, lilting voice muttered as a thought popped into her head. Who could always supply a touch of excitement to the day? Who always seemed to have something for her to do? The idea seemed to send her reeling, causing her to dance and twirl in graceful circles with limitless energy. Caezel. A bubble of laughter rose up to escape her lips but, before it could, another sound caused her to stop dead in her tracks.

"How on earth could someone else be laughing?!" She demanded, her voice reaching an octave, now outraged at the fact that someone would dare to share the same feeling of happiness she had felt beforehand. As her head twitched slightly while she listened for anymore sounds, she felt her teeth sharpen slightly. The tips of her canines pierced her bottom lip, sending a trickle of blood dribbling down her chin. Velia raised her hand to wipe the blood away, and as the hand was lowered, her eyes were now revealed to be tinged with red.

"How exciting."
@Ace of flames01 I love that idea! XD
@ArenaSnow do you think perhaps Velia and Caezel could have an alliance of sorts? Not quite a friendship, but they could be familiar with eachother and team up from time to time. It would be interesting because Velia is quite a young vampire whereas Caezel is one of the oldest, and, as you stated in your CS, Velia whatnot be pretty unaware of his reputation and whatnot as she is quite young and somewhat naive when it comes to others being on 'her side'.

Oscar & Imogen-Valentine Chessyre

"It looks nice." A voice, laced with boredom, repeated the same phrase it had been saying for the past three hours. The siblings had been shopping for suitable attire for their parent's annual dinner party all day, seeing as it was that night. The eldest of the two, Oscar, had chosen and bought his suit within a matter of minutes, ordering for it to be delivered to their penthouse that afternoon. Imogen, on the other hand, had been trying on dress after dress in the hopes of finding the perfect one. "Oscar. You say it looks 'nice' one more time and I swear that I will buy the whole shop and make you pay for it." The girl hissed, twirling in the mirror. "I don't understand why you had to bring me along as apposed of one of your girl friends." Imogen rolled her eyes, whispering something to the store helper before disappearing behind the curtain to remove the dress. "It is only because Victoria and Miley are busy choosing their dresses without me. So I must find the most gorgeous, stunning, jaw-dropping one to show them what they missed. "

Stepping out of the shop hours later, the pair walked down the street with Imogen chatting away. She had grown used to being the talkative one due to the fact that ever since Oscar's break up with Alyssa, he had been withdrawn, moody and quiet. She knew that his previous girlfriend would be returning to Manhattan today, and her stomach twisted at the thought of her and her family coming to the event that night. She had loved Alyssa, but their split had been messy and the two were not on good terms. At these thoughts, her conversation trailed off and her lips pulled down in a frown.

"C'mon. Let's go grab ice cream, yeah?" Oscar's voice, now holding more cheer in it than it had in a while, brought the previous smile back onto Imogen's face. The pair knew where to get the best ice cream; a small, secluded shop hidden amongst the greenery of Central Park. As per usual, Imogen ordered strawberry and Oscar vanilla- both of them laughing as it began to melt and drip down their chins.
