The days had progressed faster than the young mage has predicted, there had been much fun though. Nice warm baths, a few small games and ofcourse trying out various food and sweets. The chocosticks which the sly hydromancer had bought also came useful when introducing a game to Sophiel and Yvaine. Sadly they had not had the time to play it, as there was always something interupting such plans. There was something highly appealing to the hydromancer in possibly seeing Sophiel trying to hold her stature while another would chomp down on a chocostick and gradually getting closer for what some might consider a kiss!

The mere thought had filled the yellowrobed mage with joy and amusement, coupled with the other things that floated about in the head of the mage when not studying matters of magic or doing endurance training. To Mandi the most important thing to possess when it came to magic was control and being able to fight in a sustained fight, by using as little strain on the self as possible. But there were ofcourse some spells which were more strainful than others, but this didn't just apply to Mandi's magic for certain. When it came to their professor, Mandi regarded him as being powerful, but his views was too much similar to that of Mandi's siblings which had all met unfortunate ends in their search for power. This in turn made Mandi to focus harder, trying to master the ability to channel mana. Like water flowing in a stream. But there was a fine balance to be kept, to not push too far ahead too quickly as that was an error which Mandi's siblings had done too. The easiest path is not always the best one to tread.

Such was the case in warding Yvaine from bad influence people, as Mandi regarded them anyways. She was way too nice for her own good, and people would take advantage of that kindness for their own designs. The yellowrobed mage would have none of it, as long as something could be done about it. Both Yvaine and Sophiel had been fun roommates and classmates to Mandi however, it was both curious and amusing to try to put Sophiel in embarassing situations by posing odd questions or taking odd approaches. She could be so stiff at times.

Then there was Yvaine which was the complete opposite, but despite that she was quite different from Mandi aswell. The trio was certainly a curious one. Though there were plenty of other classmates about aswell, such as Ankaa which Mandi had fought during the trials which saw most of the others expelled. Mandi did regard Ankaa as a very potent mage, she was both fast and strong, and had shown a good thinker when Mandi had been putting out humble words. These things had told the young mage plenty about that particular classmate. Mandi still felt abit bad for pushing a fellow classmate like that, but when put it that situation as it was there was little that could had been done. Nyx really had expelled the rest from the class. His way of teaching was merciless, it made the mage think about it's father and how he had fallen in his quest for revenge.

The thought of family occasionally came to the young mage's mind, but there was little use to dwell overly long on it. Three of Mandi's siblings were dead and the father had been sealed away in some magical crystal years past when Mandi was still a child. There was however still one sibling alive, but he was locked up in a maximum security mage's asylum where dangerous mage's were kept from causing harm to the populace. The powerful magics in that place was enough to subdue even the most powerful of mages, he wouldn't be going anywhere. Then again Mandi didn't think he could even if he tried to, he was after all the least promising of the siblings. But then again one shouldn't underestimate peoples potential later in life.

Some people after all would learn very quickly and very well at the start, but then gradually come to a halt, while others were able to take a slower approach but grow more over a longer period of time. There were times where Mandi wanted to speak up against what Nyx was teaching, but doing so would not only had been improper it could had meant being expelled. Also there were always the thoughts about that Lexicon of his. A Lexicon. A book which held the language of mana, where you could create wonderous spells only limited by your own mind and physical body. Different spells were taxing on the mind, others targetted the body, some even went at both. The thought had entered the young mage's mind early on, what would have happened if Mandi had gotten hands on a Lexicon. What would the young mage had done then?

What the mage's siblings and father would have done would had literally 'spelled' disaster for many. A lexicon was dangerous, a boon but also a curse. It could make others long for it, to the point it would likely drive them mad. Corruptive no doubt about it. While some would surely wish to use such a thing to do good or evil, Mandi couldn't help pushing away the thought of what it would do with such a thing... would it ever end up in the young mage's hands.

There had been time for abit of socializing and pondering, but also training. But now had the day come for them to be dispatched for what seemed like a task, no it was rather a mission, set forth by their professor. Nyx. They were supposed to meet at the Genelogia station, Mandi had heard about it but had never used it in person, so this would be the first time. How bad could it be? Mandi had furst been bothered by the fact there wasn't enough space in the travelling bag for chocosticks nor swimwear. So the mage had to do without it, then again bathing without swimwear wasn't such a big hinderance, unless the professor would be about. The mage did pack down some loafs of bread and apples in a small box and a pair of extra clothes, skin oils, a hooded lantern with oil and a blanket. What else could one need?

After having gone through the packing carefully the young mage had set off to the station, and when arriving there the mage saw some familiar faces. Sophiel. Who was always in time for everything. 'Such a good girl~' Mandi smiled with closed eyes, before looking at whom else was about, spotting Ty and Kiara. Taking a few moments to collect the entire scene, Mandi strode forth with both hands behind the neck.

"Greetings my dear classmates~ Sophiel~ You are looking pretty in that~. Oh not saying you look bad without it though!" Mandi winked to Sophiel nodding towards her clothes, then soon after turning to smile to Ty and Kiara. "We'll be great with you three with us~." The mage proclaimed removing the hands from the neck to point at each one of them, one at a time. "Sophiel the crimekicker! Ty the tiger chef and Kiara the... uhm... class representative! Allright!" Mandi did an armpump motion and gave a wide grin, then took a few jumpy steps forwards on light feet trying to almost snuggle up to Sophiel.

"Oh hey! Ty, you are brave, how would you like a challenge? If you complete the task, I'll tell Lanza you are far more brave than him. All you need to do is..." Mandi began to grin, taking a slight breath and then exhaling. "...to give Alberta a kiss on the cheek~. Or would you rather say whose the cutest girl here?" Mandi snickered softly with a hand before the mouth.

I'll try make mine today!
Stealing it is one thing, imagine if you steal it and break it...
1. Get Nyx drunk
2. Have Nyx give away Lexicon.
3. Profit!
That looks both Nifty… and Shifty.
Hey, Eris, your Yandere is showing.

Also, Ty would pay a LOT of money to see Mandi kiss Alberta.

How about putting a bluehaired roomate in trouble? Perhaps a deal could be made...
<Snipped quote by Dezuel>

You need extra time? It's just that mostly everyone seems wrapped up already so that's why I was going to move on.

Allright fair enough.
Wrap up that fast? :S

Mandi was glad to see Yvaine being in a high spirits, to the point that she more or less flew right into them and grabbed hold of both Mandi's and Sophiel's arms. This caused the young hydromancer to snicker, especially after seeing how Sophiel was taken aback by it. "Oh don't worry so much miss Sophiel~ Miss Yvaine be so soft that there's no way we get hurt! Besides we all should be happy still being here. My opponent, Ankaa was a pretty tough girl too. She was pretty too now when I think about it. Don't worry too much about the fight with the acting class representative, you'll beat her the next time I'm sure." Mandi smiled broadly and tugged slightly at Yvaine's arm. "But lets make this day memorable right~? Dinner? Oh I have a box with it with me today... uh.. oh and I think miss Sophiel is right. We should recuperate first." Mandi said softly, it was at that point a frog bounced it's way past their path. "I hear some people eat frogs, I guess they must be somewhat tasty." Mandi said in a ponderous tone, looking at the frog getting small drops of sweat along it's form as it hastily made it's way into a nearby bush.

Then the trio had gotten to their dorm room, and hearing Sophiel's suggestions that they should change clothes and clean up in general was a good idea. "Oh that's right, that won't do Yvaine. We gotta swap that out, don't worry I'll help you out~." As the door was being opened the first thing Mandi did was to look at the wooden separation wall. "Who thought this was a good idea? Good grief. Oh and we should try make the best we can from the space we have, so I recommend pushing all the beds together into one place, that way we get more space for everything else." Mandi smiled and went about to fold the wooden wall in place, there was not going to be some wooden separation wall blocking their way around the room.

'Boys on this side? Girls on the other? But this wasn't needed in their room right?' Mandi pondered and then looked quickly to Sophiel who headed into the bathroom and locking the door. "Huh? I suppose miss Sophiel is abit shy~" Mandi said with a smile on the lips, looking to Yvaine and then waited patiently for Sophiel to exit the bathroom which she did soon enough and then began to speak about cooking. "Oh we could all try cooking sometime later, I've done a little bit of it. Though I suspect you two are alot better than I." The mage began to softly scratch the back of it's neck in an embarassed manner while blinking it's eyes abit.

"Allright, let's get you out of those damp clothes Yvaine, good grief they put you through alot of trouble. Don't worry though, water is my speciality~ I'll try dehydrate the clothes, but I cannot do that if you be wearing them it be too risky." Mandi smiled softly winking one eye to Yvaine, grabbing the both bags by the corner of the room, handing Yvaine hers when getting close enough.

"Oh and if we are going to cook, I want to see you in a cute apron miss Sophiel~" The yellow clothed mage stuck out it's tongue in a playful manner, while more or less trying to softly push Yvaine into the bathroom. "Those boys really did put you through lots of trouble. That bluehaired boy should appologize, just like the whirl- the boy who spun into you in the lecture hall. Maybe kissing that Alberta girl would be a steep enough punishment for them." Mandi said in a lower tone and snickering, looking Yvaine over.

"Transformation time~." The mage said in a cheery manner nodding towards the bathroom.

Zelginn

The dance with the much larger woman had gone decently well, even though Zelginn really didn't know how to dance with someone. She had also been smirking at him, the sudden urge to do something else soon filled the small figure. He was ditching this dance thing and going back to that food table. While the woman seemed to share his dislike for nobles, there was no reason for him to linger further in her presence. Then had the signal come for the dance to be over and the next to begin.

'Finally! I am out of here! To the dark abyss with this woman and all other women!' The small figure thought and he smiled widely to Ayita trying to keep his mask before bowing and waving. "Bye bye." He said in a cheery manner before scurrying off into the crowd of onlookers.

Baraian Paladice

Why had the creature smiled to him, it unsettled him more than anything else in the room. The creature had soon followed by nodding it's head, was it actually considering to eat him or somehow bond? The idea itself made the dark elf feel a stab in his gut. Despite it all the creature had done well on following his lead, despite he wasn't much of a dancer at all. His attempt to somehow show off had resulted in the creature tripping some man, not just any man either but that was Terneus.'Curses...' Baraian had thought and quickly pulled Myra back in and relocating their dance in another direction and past another pair of dancers. That ought to have put some distance between them and the elf whose ego was too big for the entire hall. The dark elf finally gave a look at Myra again, what was this thing? She had a tail unlike any other. His red eyed gaze wandered over Myra a second time.

'A demon? A servant of Aklenroth? Maybe I should ask her who she is here with...' The elf finally thought before opening his mouth. "So... who are you here with?" he had just managed to ask the question before the dance was over and the next one was commencing.

Terneus Andros

All of a sudden the noble elf's legs had been swiftly swept from under him, what in the heavens had happened? Had some lowlife managed to get the better of him? How could he not spot it? Had he slipped in a drink? No. This elf couldn't slip, for it was an act for the ungraceful. There was however only one thought going through the governor's mind as he fell, it was to attempt to gracefully stop the fall. He couldn't allow himself to be the wrong gossip for the evening. The elf latched unto the nearest thing within reach as he fell, some long and soft fabric which haltered his fall slightly before it too gave way with a ripping sound.

The lower part of a dress was being held in his hand as he had landed on his rear against the floor. How ungraceful a landing, there was no way to avoid the embarassment now- That's when he heard a slight gasp and shriek, it ringed in his keen and superior elven ears. What in the old elven graces was causing such a ruckus. Right next to him stood a birdwoman of some kind, with the face of a duck but the body more humanoid, and it was reaching down to cover it's undergarments as it had lost it's skirt to the gentle grasping hands of the light elven governor. It took a moment for the elven lord to gather what was going on.

'Ugh. What a disgusting creature, get dressed you unsavor- Oh so this is yours?' He threw a glance at the garment he held in his hands, he suddenly tossed it away as if it carried the plague. And according to the ever insightful elf, such could possibly be the case amongst such inferior and meager creatures. But not even his greatness could predict that the duck-woman's dancing partner, a man with a piglike face. Was it an orc? Well they were all ugly so it was hard to separate one thing from another, despite his grand eyesight. The pig-like creature had then the audacity to grab unto the elf's noble shirt and ruffles and punch the mask he wore on his face in what seemed to be some kind of bestial display of rage. The mask bounced against the elf's already aching face and he gritted his teeth, holding unto the nose of the mask. "Not the face- you insolen-" The elf began to utter through curses as the dancing around was coming to a stop, the piglike man then beckoned to someone behind the elven lord.

The blue eyed gaze of the ever present, ever mindful and ever patient lord Terneus saw a tall creature. Green. In a dress. Oh no. It was the orc woman from earlier. "Take this drunk away from the floor." The pigfaced man said while picking up the dress to cover his dancepartner, while the large orc leaned over slightly looking down at the elf who was looking slightly up at what was above him. He wanted to scream. But then he would draw more attention, negative attention. Before he came up with a cunning plan, the big brutish woman had grabbed the back of his collar and was lifting and dragging him from the dancefloor, then hurling him into an empty spot in the crowd of people who knew very well to move away when such a giant of a woman were approaching.

"Unghnn!" The elf grunted as he landed on his knees and caught himself with his hands against the floor. 'How dare you touch me you filthy lice-ridden inbred half-witted lout!' He felt as one of his stitches at his face broke as he grew angry, rising to his feet in the most graceful manner he could. But before he could act, the crowd of people was moving into his path, and the lumbering giant of a woman was walking away.

'Someone will hang for this.' He tightened his fists and looked around with intent eyes as some people eyed the man whom had been dragged. "And what are you looking at? Do something useful and get out of my way." He cursed as he began to head up some stairs to a higher elevated position in the hall.
