"I'm guessing that it's my turn?" Helios asked. Vess shook their head.

"No. We'll rest for the last of the day. Tomorrow, you'll go. Prepare yourself." The child's words were blunt and short, but not unkind. Helios nodded.

Selene let her gaze wander upwards to the ceiling, settling on it for a moment.

"Selene." Vess's words drew her out of her thoughts. "Rest."

She nodded, not saying anything as she quietly walked away from the two others and towards the door shaped like and with the imprints of the Moon.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" Helios asked quietly.

"Are you? Do you think you'll ever be?" was the other's answer. Helios's gaze traveled to the ground, turning somber. He wasn't okay, not really. Even if they managed to bring everyone back, he still didn't know if he'd ever be. Watching your entire life being destroyed right before your eyes without being able to do anything left an impact on someone, a scar that would never fully fade, no matter how long it had been.
If you join this, please do not romantically pair with or attempt to romantically pair with any of these characters with each other! Vess at all is not allowed!
Selene, Helios, and Vesper all think of each other as siblings. Vesper is displayed as a child, meaning I would not like them to be pictured in any relationships whatsoever, please.
Selene and Helios may both be put into a relationship, but keep in mind: Selene is a demi-romantic lesbian, meaning she will only ever romantically be attracted to females, and they must be people she has known for a long time and has a strong emotional connection with, and Helios is pan, meaning he likes all genders.
Character Descriptions
- Selene: A nineteen-year-old young woman with long black hair, light purple eyes, and pale skin.
- Helios: A nineteen-year-old young man with white wavy hair, golden eyes, and a dark tan skin tone.
- Vesper/Vess: Their age is unknown (but they have the form of a twelve-year-old child) and they do not identify as a particular gender. They have shoulder-length curly black hair, Alice blue eyes with white eyelashes, and a pale skin tone that almost resembled the color of ash, just not quite as gray.
Selene stared out at the wreckage from her place perched at the top of the stone pillar. Her kingdom was destroyed and there wasn't a thing she could do about it.

"Are you ready?" a voice called out as a presence materialized behind her. She glanced up, her eyes meeting those of Helios.

She nodded, her gaze dim as it fell to the ground.

"Yes, let's go..." she said quietly. Helios's gaze softened. He held out a hand for her, helping her up when she accepted it.

Then, in a flash of colors that all faded to white, they were gone, now back in the room that had originated from before activating the illusion.

"Any clues?" The pair turned to a slightly smaller figure who was floating in the air, an expectant expression on their face.

"All of the ones who used powers had rainbow gemstones somewhere on them as the centerpiece of a piece of jewelry," Selene answered.

"That gives us something to work with," the child smiled. "Are you alright, Selene?" they asked quietly, their gaze softening.

"I'm fine, Vess. It hurts, but we're doing all of this to get revenge and find a way to bring them back," she smiled gently. "And, it's not as if I'm the only one whose entire kingdom was destroyed," she added, her gaze flickering from Helios to the child she had addressed as "Vess," short for Vesper.

All in all, her kingdom was the last to be destroyed by the strange group of people none of the three Heirs knew about.

Selene, Heir to the Moon.

Helios, Heir to the Sun.

Vesper, Heir to the Stars.

All three of them met each other after each one's kingdom was destroyed by this unknown group. Vess was first and wandered alone for an unknown amount of time, then Helios five years ago, and Selene last, three, almost four years ago.

All they had were each other and the memories of people who had long since passed.
