Claire

"Call me bird brained again and I'll turn you into a McFlurry!"

Username: Nibnib
Name: Claire
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Main: Anivia
Appearance: Claire stands at 5' 4" and possesses a modest physique.

True Appearance: Crystallized ice wings sprout abruptly from her back of which she can use prana to fly for a limited period of time. In her true state, her spells are more destructive and have a larger area of effect. However, she requires more focus to cast these devastating spells.

Powers
:

Rebirth (Passive): Upon death, Claire is encased in ice. Prana fills up inside of the small ice fort which repairs any major damage done to her and brings her back into consciousness. Unfortunately, this consumes all remaining prana and therefore renders her unable to cast anymore spells unless she retreats and recharges. Due to the amount of concentration and energy needed to invest in this spell, Claire needs some time to recharge this spell.

Flash Frost: Claire can launch an orb of ice at a location she so chooses. Wherever it detonates, it temporarily encases the location in a coat of ice. If it detonates on a person, then that person is temporarily encased in frost at a certain location of their body, depending on where the spell hits.

Crystallize: A wall of ice sprouts at a location within close proximity to Claire. While in true form, she may cast this spell consecutively in order to hamper enemy movement however, she may only create three at a time.

Chilled Ice: Ice bombards an person, hampering their movement. If the person is affected by frost, then the ice detonates upon impact and smaller shards of ice impale themselves into the frosted area.

Glacial Storm: Claire can create a blizzard at a location. Fierce winds and ice in the air can freeze the area. In true form, the area of effect of this spell is vastly increased. So as long as Claire can focus and has sufficient amounts or prana, she can maintain this spell. If she happens to break focus or run out of prana, then the blizzard dissipates. She can break the spell at any time.

Personality: Although she may look cold and unapproachable, Claire is kind and is great at reading other people. She possesses a imaginative mind that is also curious and is motivated to take on any challenges to come her way. She likes having friends and being around others, however, should she feel threatened or emotionally overwhelmed, she'll withdraw into herself and abruptly cease contact with others for a short period of time.
Her other hobbies include free writing, horoscopes, reading, watching anime, and having deep discussions with others.

Short Biography: Claire currently attends college within the city and also holds a job as a waitress at a local restaurant. She currently retains excellent academic standing within her classes and lives in a small apartment by herself. She's lived in the town for a considerable amount of time while the rest of her family lives in Florida. Her aunt lives in Seattle and is currently the closest relative to her as far as location goes. Claire first got into league when a friend showcased the game to her and instantly fell in love with the mages that inhabited the mid lane. By far, she performs best with Anivia and often finds herself carrying the team in the later phase of the game or dealing catastrophic amounts of damage to the enemy team.

Pain was all she could feel.

Claire was hunched over on her bed, gasping and ready to pass out at the tearing sensation in her back. She panicked as she asked herself what was wrong. She was unable to answer herself but the pain seemed to cease all of a sudden, yet it felt like something was there. Claire felt weak and her head was throbbing, but she got up and stumbled over to the bathroom. Examining herself in the mirror, she realized her favorite onesie was torn apart and was held together by a mere thread. The next thing she noticed were the large blue wings that had blossomed from her back and the bluish frost that covered her arms and hands like long dress gloves.

She looked out into the small apartment which had been turned into her very own winter wonderland. Oddly enough, she didn't feel cold at all but she felt at ease with everything being frozen around her. The next moment, she passed out from exhaustion and awoke the next morning on the cold tiles of the bathroom with her apartment looking as it usually did with no trace of the winter wonderland she had . The only proof of that night's events was her destroyed onesie and the wings that were wrapped around her which already felt as if they had always been there.

"Jeez, I'm so drained..." Claire murmured as they entered Leon's room. She made a beeline for the dining table and took a seat on a chair. Well, more like crashed into the chair, casting her eyes to the heavens and sighing before crossing her arms on the table and planting her head in her arms with a rather ungraceful sounding "Ugghh!" uttered from her mouth.

She lifted her head and a cerulean eye peeked out from the messy pile of lavender-sliver hair, blinking and zeroing in on Leon. She remained quiet and stared at him, forming thoughts in her head. Food or fresh clothes first? Claire knew she looked like a wreck right now, but then again in her defense, they were out there fighting....rogue champions.

Claire turned her head and glanced at the wardrobe and then back at Leon, deciding to at least get cleaned up and shower before she took a brief nap.
"I'll just grab some gym clothes and shower real quick, if you don't mind." She stood up and checked out the drawer, opening the first row. Claire blinked as she came upon the gym clothes she was searching for...but they seemed a little...feminine? She casted her eyes to Leon and held up the black gym shorts in question. Well, he did have somewhat of a lanky form....but....

...maybe he just likes the way they fit? It'd be a little short and tight on his crotch wouldn't it? No! Don't picture it Claire! Stop it! Claire thought, her cheeks flushing, feeling embarassed at her own overactive imagination. Oh my god, what if he has a fetish for this kind of thing? What the heck Leo!!! Other than being grave digger incarnate, why couldn't you be a typical reclusive young man!?

Jeez, calm down Claire, I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this...I'm sure he's a just a...
Claire narrowed her eyes at the shorts before casting a glare at Leon.

...harmless pervert?

"I'll take these Leo. I'll be right back." Claire said, picking out a matching black shirt and heading into the bathroom before she decided to remark upon the clothes.

~~~
After a few moments of staring at her reflection in the mirror and frowning at a few marks on her body, Claire found herself in a tub full of relaxing steamy hot water instead of the shower she said she'd take. Claire just couldn't help it, the water just felt so nice! She sighed contentedly and felt her muscles release the tension she had been feeling all day. Claire closed her eyes and rested her head back against the tub. She was in bliss, so much that she started to doze off and eventually the effects of her power started to freeze the water into a block of ice that encased her body. After some time, the steam that had collected on the walls and ceilings of the bathroom condensated into droplets of water and turned into icicles that hanged from the ceiling or draped the walls. As Claire napped peacefully, she (unintentionally) turned Leon's bathroom into an icy paradise of her own.
~~
Little did Claire know, a certain Cryophoenix had been awake for some time. Before, Anivia had chosen to keep herself hidden from Claire and opted to observe her avatar's surroundings and even subconsciously influenced Claire's decisions during the clash earlier. However, perhaps it would be soon that she'd fully unveil herself to the innocent young woman and partake in a more active role in her battles.
Yet, her decision to bond with the Grave Digger's persona had nothing to do with Anivia's subliminal suggestions.
"So this is the lair in which the Grave Digger resides...Perhaps you can keep him close while I keep an eye on him for you." Anivia whispered from within the deep recesses of her consciousness.
@Cubix
Been busy with work as well, will post up a reply this weekend. ^^
@Ambra If we do a reboot, we have to give people time to close this scene properly either that or we can carry it into the reboot. There's still a couple of questions to be answered or points that need to be closed out.
-The mysterious "faction" that seems to be snooping around and watching everything play out, and their connection to the crows in the skies and the man that seems to be presiding over them.
-The three rogue champions turned back into humans.
-Escape the authorities? Or communicate with them and the Police Department of Darkwell? Who did what after the battle?
-Will Sam finally put some clothes on?
I'm okay with the reboot as long as we all (also Leolycan) can end the scene properly because it wouldn't be fair for us to suddenly drop and start from square 1.5 when we've had this much development in the RP and if we carry on this scene into the next RP, we'll already be ahead in the plot and I wouldn't want anyone to feel like they missed out on something epic. I'd rather make them feel like they were involved in something they helped create.
And so, my suggestion is we do it when all characters are safe and not exposed outside and then we can have the sun set and explain a few things while we're at it. If we reboot, I say we don't start "too fresh" so we can carry on character development (friendships/bonds/rivalries) and we leave Wihi cafe destroyed until the owner can get his insurance claim and fix the business as well as leave scars on the street until construction crews can get to work repairing it, and at the same time while we're in the initial stages of this reboot, we should have it to where people could join in and not feel behind or left out.
TL;DR - I'll definitely bring my character to the reboot as well as the traits she developed here.
I'll post soon!
Claire helped Leon up on his feet, minding his injured leg. She chuckled to herself and shook her head while rolling her eyes in a playful matter, "Gosh, what is this, 1729?" Claire said sarcastically, "Come along now dear Leon, we must get to our carriage now! Oh dearie me, how the times have changed! Can a lady not go around and be straightforward on her own anymore? Such travesty!" She joked, her voice taking on a slight English accent while a hand fanned her face for additional dramatic effect.
Although, she immediately hushed when his hand reached her face, sending trickles of warmth across her cheeks and wherever his fingers graced.
"It's not everyday I get to spend time with a cryophoenix. I just hope you'd welcome a gravedigger at your side." Leon murmured. Claire nodded.
"I'd rather welcome you instead if you don't mind telling the gravedigger to take a hike." She replied, a little boldly. Sirens seemed to gradually fill the air as the police responded to the many panicked calls to 911. Claire cocked her head in the direction they were coming from, listening intently before turning back to Leon who seemed to be very eager to leave the scene. She couldn't agree with him more when he warned her of the possible consequence of being apprehended by law enforcement and thus, she turned towards the majority of the spectators. Underneath her breath, she silently murmured an apology before raising a hand into the air. After a few moments of channeling, a wall of ice sprouted from the ground and in front of the crowd as well as into the street.
"Phew...I'm exhuasted." Claire panted, catching her breath and noting the small headache developing. Surveying the wall, she found it to be satisfactory and then hurried along at best possible speed with Leon in order to escape the area.
Claire glanced over to Sam, worry etched on her face, "Sam! You need to get away, the police are coming! And put some clothes on!!! Bring him with you or just leave him!" She called out before making her exit.
Staying close to Leon, they both hustled along alleyways and backstreets while avoiding the larger, more populated areas. Claire had seen bystanders during the battle and they were raising their phones towards them and capturing every second on camera. She hoped the videos and pictures wouldn't end up posted up somewhere public. Claire could see the post go viral now, "Freak girl on the streets!" or something along those lines. Eventually her mother would take notice and it would be then that she'd have to explain herself to her family or be alienated. She didn't want either event taking place regardless.
Unfortunately, her apartment was in the other direction, but she didn't mind hanging out with Leon for now. In fact, she was a little curious about him and intended to ask him a few questions whenever they were safe.
