Bio

My name is DJ.
I am a roleplayer.
A roleplayer of roughly a good decade now.
I write a lot of things, and am able to roleplay a lot of things.

Random Things about me
- I run a small YouTube channel.
- I listen to a helluva lot of music. Love music.
- I'm from Singapore. It's a little island in Southeast Asia.

Anywho, I've not been RPing for a long long time, but here I am, hopefully to make a few friends and RP some.

Anyone up for doing a collab with me for the observer team?
@Deserted I just finished up my character. It's midnight and I still have an RP post to write.

Name: Henry "Tank" Dellinger
Gender: Male
Role In Party: Healer/Defender
Personality: Loud, boisterous and friendly, Henry is that type of friend that you have that's enthusiastic about everything. With a big, booming voice and a hearty and infectious laugh, he's not always the focus of the party or the important one of the lot, but you know that without him, your group of friends would be that less fun.
Intrigue: Even though Henry is loud, boorish and a bit of a knucklehead, he also has an amazingly big heart. He can tell when someone's not feeling their greatest, and will sit down with them and listen should they require someone to talk to. For a loud, headstrong man, his soft side is incredibly quiet.
Description: Henry stands at a whopping 6' 8", weighing in at nearly 300 pounds, because of all the lifting and training he does. He has a head of short, close-cropped brown hair and equally brown eyes, and his tanky build is very recognisable.
Motivation: To make sure that everyone around him is smiling and happy and alright.
Character Ideal: To realise that his soft side is also a part of him, and as such he shouldn't be afraid to be soft more often when his friends need it.
Character Sacrilege: All of his friends die or leave him.
Gonna make a Healer/Defender aka a Paladin
I'm probably going to make a solo post that's time-skipped to when the infiltration team has arrived at the base. Then when the others on the observer team confirm their places we could do a big group collab with cheeky banter and shit :D
@Fallenreaper @DearTrickster @Rtron EVERYTHING'S SETTLING THE WAY WE TALKED ABOUT IN OUR COLLAB

It's like we can predict the future

Also, due to Hazan's bum leg, he's on the observation crew.

@Dervish D'you think Haze could borrow Tonka's sniper rifle for this? Since he's toting the Revenant and all, I just had that thought.
1. What are your favorite universes within your favorite genres?

2. Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or one horse sized duck?

3. Favorite character/class to play?

4. If you could have a super power, what would it be?

1) For me, my all-time favourite universe would have to be the John Constantine universe. It's gritty, dark detective noir mixed together with dark fantasy.

2) 100 duck-sized horses.

3) If it's a fantasy class, either the Thief or the Bard. If it's a more modernised class, the Marksman or the Scout.

4) The power to cure any disease.

5) Medium rare. No exceptions.
@Clanty Don't worry, I have a dice problem too
@Clanty Buying dice is like drugs innit, just have to have MORE
C-could I bump in here? Been looking for a few good storytellers to make friends with, share stories and write stuff with.

I'm Singaporean, with a firm grasp of the English language. I've been roleplaying and writing for about ten years or so now. By trade, I'm a registered nurse, so I've seen shit. I've learned the basics of psychology, physiology, pharmacology and a whole bunch of other -ology subjects in school. Plus, since I'm Singaporean, I've served my two years of mandatory enlistment in the Singapore Army as a combat medic.

My loves in the realm of literature are riveting, dramatic stories. Stephen King is my number one idol. John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Kathy Reichs and Raymond E. Feist all come up as close seconds on my fave writers list. My favourite genres are, in no particular order: noir, detective stories, murder mysteries, fictional war or military stories, high fantasy and urban fantasy settings.

Currently I'm writing (well, re-writing) a novel idea I've had in my head for several years and only now starting to get it onto paper. It's an urban fantasy setting, with heavy noir and detective influences.

I'm also the GM for a tabletop campaign amongst a group of my local friends. The campaign and world itself were designed by a good friend of mine, who requested that I write the lore and fluff as well as produce a campaign as an "alpha test" for the game systems. So far, we're about seven months and seven game sessions in, and everyone's having loads of fun.

I'd really love to have a bunch of like-minded individuals to make friends with and talk shop with too.
