"The Hand of Pain"

Name: Ryu Quan
Alias: "The Hand of Pain",
Age: 17
Appearance: Ryu is a east asian male, about 183 cm in height and weighing 77kg. His hair is jet black and stands up in spikes from his head. Generally most would describe him as good looking, especially with his body being in the best shape it could possibly be at his age. He has quite a few scars on his arms and torso, showing all the fights that are already behind him.
When it comes too clothing Ryu always goes with something he can fight and move in. He mostly wears sweat pants and shirts, almost all of them black.
History: Hidden deep within the mountains of China is the legendary monastery of Shuri-Ta. Since ancient times the monks of Shuri-Ta perfected the martial arts, developing the secret "Divine Hand of Heaven"-technique. But the monks also dedicated their lives to peace and harmony of all things. One day a traveling pregnant woman came to the monastery and gave birth to a boy but sadly dying after a complication of the birth.
This boy was Ryu Quan and he grew up to be the most promising Student of Shuri-Ta. By the age of 12 he had already mastered several techniques of martial arts and by 14 he could defeat 20 normal man in a fight. The monks however feared his impulsive and proud character and decided against teaching him their secret technique. Young Ryu did not accept that and decided to steal the technique from the monastery. He managed to succeed, killing one of his fellow students in the process.
He might have been the strongest student of Shuri-Ta, but he still found himself lost in the modern world he found himself in. The secret style and technique of Shuri-Ta made him incredibly strong but even the proud Ryu had noticed he had much, much more to learn. And after he heard of Blackwood High he knew where he had to go.
Personality: Ryu is arrogant, proud and all around a showoff. He is also pretty quick with his words, attractive and has some charisma, making him a person less popular students try to kiss up too.
Motivations: Ryu wants to become the deadliest Martial Artist to have ever existed, learning every secret technique and become invincible.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Skills: Ryu is a master martial artist, even at his young age. He can take on hordes of regular soldiers or policeman and even superhumans fear his superior fighting ability. Thanks to the secret style of Shuri-Ta he has also access to several techniques that are incredibly powerful.

@blackdragon First draft because I absolutly love the Idea! Any problems with the char just say it. I don't know what exactly is an acceptable power level for this rp so just shoot if he is to strong!

@Clever Hans In my personal opinion the Loa are among the most interesting. I played a Scion of Kalfu when we used to play the pen and paper :)

Yeah the whole Ragnarök thing is not that good explained in the books either but what you heard is also how I will aproach it. Ragnarök including the stuff with baldr is bound to happen. Loki is bound to be chained to a rock etc. I know it does not make that much sense but that is how we will handle it.
Also the story will start with all of you beeing brought together by your pantheons.
I also somehow was expecting at least one greek because they are so popular but I am actually suprised with the characters you guys made!
