Yeah its almost as if not all posts have to follow the same conversation line.

And if in some strange universe Huniepop did have SC girls as 'guest' characters they would be rendered in the Huniepop artstyle anyway, so that whole point doesn't really hold up.

Also the reason she compared two images is because you asked her to pick between the two. Which would have to be compared to pick one, so you are wanting them to be compared


I was noting that she picked the ingame 'reward art' which was literally concept art as an example when even the in game sprites are better drawn. She was using the worst possible example of huniepop and the best possible example of the SC6 render of Sophita as an example. I posted Huniepop2 Kyu render and Sophita from Soul Calibur 2 render to give context. I'm not saying Huniepop is overall better drawn. I'm saying be charitible with examples.

@Notorious Guy Yeah I was reacting to Fabricant comparing the two. I was just noting she was being selective about which pictures to share. Decent reach though, 6.5/10?

I said the SC girls are bland by design and characterisation. Who's really trying to compare the illustration budget of a AAA Namco franchise and an indie game started by twitter troll?

The two aren't mutually exclusive. Many a fighting game is enjoyed both for it's mechanics AND anime tits.

Huniepop is there for people to masturbate to, and have some semblence of a game behind it (even if it's Bejewelled Fucking Blitz). It is no more, and it is no less. You can't compare the artwork of the two. One game is made for horny weebs and the other is a fighting game with actual characters and story (even if it's weak, but every fighting game has a pretty weak story).


A lot of horny weebs play Soul Calibur too.

No no, I've seen you snark in a single sentence plenty of times. Most of us here do. I follow up with a more detailed critique sometimes, mainly when I feel like it. You can't effort-police my snark.

Why not? At least then there'd be some kind of decently attractive artwork.
