Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

With a chuckle, Nic squeezes her hands before letting her trace the lines in his palm. “As long as it’s at least a little comfortable, I’m down for anything.” He tells her with a bright smile. The server comes back with their drinks and some water before leaving after checking in.
“Can I know what color you have in mind? Or will that reveal too much?” He takes a few sips of his water before using the condensation on his fingers to leave a cold trail of water on her arm.
Nero doesn’t really react to the bad drivers, but then again, they’re already dead and so is their body. They go to say something to comfort Caden, but is interrupted by another idiot trying to cause an incident. “Humans have such a selfish view while traveling - wherever they’re headed is more important than anyone else’s safety.” They conclude, both the hand on his thigh and the one holding his squeeze gently to try and comfort him.
“But I can always start writing down plate numbers to send a little gift.” They grin impishly, ideas already coming to mind on just how they could make the best impact.
Kiki purses her lips in a frown at Avery’s sigh and statement, almost tempted to decline the jacket but she takes it and shrugs it on. “I’m not treating this as a competition. I just know…” …that I have a lot more disposable funds than you do. She stops herself from saying it out loud, not knowing if she can say it without it sounding offensive. “Besides, how am I ‘winning’ even? Because of what happened?”
If that’s the case, she doesn’t want that from Avery. She’d rather just move on from the bonding incident and call it even. There’s no point in having him think he owes her gifts or anything to make it up to her.

Willow giggles with delight as Rowan twirls her, finding dancing with Rowan much more fun than any other time she’s danced. She beams up at him when she’s pulled back - even being called by the Beowulf’s name for her can’t damper the mood. “I’d love that!” She says excitedly, a little hop to her dance before she remembers to settle down a little. She watches his eyes as he scans the hall.
“I can tell you about the others if you’d like, Mister Kimb.” She says, trying to sound the part of a loyal Omega helping a guest. Although bunnies are the main product of the Beowulf’s, she’d grown up with most of the cats and foxes.
Xavier nods with understanding, his expression full of concern as he gently leads Killian in the dance. “Do all scents bother you then?” He asks, mostly to try and help by distracting the trembling Omega with conversation. The hand on Killian’s waist starts to hover there more than anything, only touching him to softly prod him in the right direction for a step. “Or just those of Alphas?”

Willow can’t keep her expression neutral, easily becoming excited at this news. “Bouquets?” It’s lucky that the dress Rowan picked out has layers, otherwise everyone near them would see her tail wiggling about. “Can you teach me how to do that? Would I be able to go with you?” She asks with wide eyes that practically sparkle.
Xavier’s brow furrows with concern when Killian’s body shudders and his expression changes, but he takes the hint and starts leading them in a dance. “Yeah, could be.” He says, but he’s feeling awkward. “Is… Is there something I can do to help you be more comfortable?”
Nic orders the vegan burger and a drink before ordering something to take him to his dad, asking that it be made later along with the bruschetta. After the server leaves, he turns to Cassi with an easy smile, placing his hand on the table. “Okay, so, how do you feel about being my personal stylist today?”
Nero pauses, turning to look at Caden as they place their hand over his, noticing the tension in Caden. “Everything alright?” They ask, moving in their seat to face him more. “Is it the bad drivers?” They switch their hands so their right hand is on Caden’s that’s on their thigh while they use their left hand and place it on his thigh.
Kiki grins, still trying to keep the innocent expression even though she’s giddy it worked. Though no stranger to shopping assistants and being pushed into buying more than she needs, she easily feels overwhelmed by the sheer amount of knowledge Avery and the attendant had about motorcycles and the gear she needed for riding. She tries her best not to notice the price tags but it’s hard not to, especially as the items stack up.
As the two leave with the goodies, she fidgets. “So… You spent entirely too much on me and I need to repay you.” She declares, hands going to her hips as stops to stare down Avery.
Penni has to scramble as rocks on the beast begin moving around to find another spot to keep her hold on its back. It’s too bad; she would have happily continued stabbing the hole made from one of the other numan’s spear. As it is, her repetitive stabbing has only proven to hurt the beast enough to make it rearrange its rocky exterior. Her eyes flick around as she watches some of the stones fly off of the Stone-Horn and only narrowly miss some of the others before she decides her next course of action.
Staying low to help her stay on, she moves towards the neck. There’s two reasons she’s made this her next destination; one is that she watched Vhoth resume his place there shortly after being thrown. If she should be flung off, he will at least see where she lands if not catch her. The second reason is to get closer to the bloody trail that’s obstructed the beast’s vision as well as the gash made to its neck by Cambrian. She’s actually glad to see he’d made it since the two of them have been fantasizing about escaping the syndicate long before today.
Back to the task at hand. The tiny thing aims to blind the beast further if she can get within reach of its eyes, possibly helping the others in this motley crew do more damage. As she moves, she notices a tiny thing upon Vhoth’s arm pawing at the mouth. Peculiar… but not really her place to try and understand what it wanted right now. Hopefully Vhoth will help with what it needs.
Finding a good spot to hold herself without falling, she throws out and spins one of her chained daggers. The action itself looks much like a lasso of a herder, except for the gleam the metal gets when it catches the light. Hopefully the beast won’t notice that. With a fluid movement of her wrist, she jerks the chain and swings the dagger towards the unobstructed eye of the Stone-Horn.

Willow’s nose crinkles in delight. “I wonder why they felt so long today.” She teases lightly before softly giggling. “So, is that what your usual day is like? Lots of meetings?” She asks curiously. She knew from being with him that short time that Rowan’s a hard worker, so it doesn’t surprise her that he might be that way in his CEO duties as well.
Xavier takes the hand in the air, tempted to kiss it but not wanting to push Killian too far. It’s enough that he can touch him at all. His other hand rests on his lower waist, above his hip. “I would chase you anywhere,” He says without really thinking and his cheeks turn pink as he clears his throat. “Not in a predatory way, I mean.” He quickly adds, embarrassed.
Nic smiles, turning his attention back to Cassi. “I was actually thinking of getting their vegan burger. How about you?” He leans forward to rest his elbow on the table and prop his head up. “If I was hungrier or we had more people with us, I would totally suggest getting the bruschetta appetizer again.” He says before catching the eye of one of the servers.
A grin slips onto Nero’s face. “You deserve it.” They tell him simply before looking out the window. Even for the middle of the day, it’s busy downtown, but Nero enjoys people-watching. “Does anything sound particularly good to you?” They ask.
Kiki returns his embrace, smiling even if Avery is being overprotective of her. “Yes, yes, I know, but,” She grabs his hand when he releases her. “I’ll only be riding with you and you wouldn’t let me get hurt… right?” She bats her eyelashes his way with an innocent smile.

Willow smiles up at him, reaching to rest her free hand on his shoulder. “Of course - wouldn’t want anyone getting the wrong idea.” Although the situation they’re in isn’t ideal, having these inside jokes while conversing with Rowan are kind of fun. “How was your day today, Mister Kimb?”
Xavier chuckles with a small smirk, finding himself more and more intrigued by the assistant with each meeting. He moves towards Killian swiftly, careful not to run to him, though. He still has a reputation to keep up, after all. However, he finds that the word ‘adorable’ is being repeated in his mind. “I almost thought you were fleeing from me.” He says when he reached Killian.
Nic covers his mouth as he suppresses the laugh he feels bubbling up in his throat at Cassi’s reaction to his staring. “Deal.” He says with a lopsided grin before letting his gaze shift off of her and onto some of the patrons in the place instead. He’ll pretend he didn’t see her blush… for now at least.
Nero sticks their tongue out at Caden even after the door is shut in their face. Not fair that he says something like that, kisses me like that, and use my own words against me. They think as they settle into seat and cross their arms with a small huff before Caden joins them inside. “Nope.” They answer, letting the ‘p’ pop.
Kiki bobs her head back and forth as she thinks about it before she sighs. “I should probably let you or someone who actually knows this stuff help me get set up.” She says, fighting against her own instinct of looking at everything in the store before buying something. She gets the rest of her own leather off before looking to Avery. “You have to tell me if it looks bad though, okay?”

Willow wishes Rowan could have held her longer, but she nods to his question. “Yes, thank you.” She glances over her shoulder as Aethel drags the Everett fellow towards another part of the hall. The Beowulfs wouldn’t have the precedent to ban toad man like they had with the Conans, so a warning would be given for this incident.
“I’ll let you know if my waist feels the same later though.” A small smile as she looks up at Rowan. “Would you like to dance, Mister Kimb?”
Xavier chuckles before he can stop himself and tries to cover it with a cough. “Mister Velvet, you’re at my address.” He says with a small smirk as he looks at Killian again. Noting how he watches the others, he takes a small risk. “Would you like to dance?”
