The Under ~ Vs Pizza Head

Word Count: 431
Level 5 Ganondorf: 13/50
Exp: 1
NEW EXP Balance--- 14/50

As soon as Pizza Head made his appearance, Ganondorf knew this was the opportunity he was waiting for. Or it would be, if the boss in question wasn't zipping around like some kind of insane child on a sugar rush. Even a wet bar of soap wasn't this slippery. Ganondorf hounded Pizza Head as best as he could. He swung swords wildly as he did so, but to no avail. Pizza Head's gestures and taunts weren't exactly doing much for the Gerudo's temperament either. But Ganondorf wasn't the only one focusing his attention on the main boss. The actions of Sectonia and Jesse not only managed to land a few hits on the annoying being, but it gave Ganondorf a moment to think and devise a strategy.

He temporarily jammed the blade of one his swords into the ground in order to free up a hand. Once this was done, Ganondorf snapped his fingers and summoned Blastocyst. The blob of flesh appeared overhead and was poised to drop down directly on where Pizza Head was currently taunting one of the other Seekers. Even if he dodged the initial drop, he may not necessarily be fast enough to avoid the projectiles that Blastocyst would shoot out upon impact. But Ganondorf wasn't taking any chances. Immediately after summoning Blastocyst, he snapped his fingers again and summoned a second striker: the Duke of Flies. The husk of flesh was disgusting to look at, but had proved his usefulness. For his attack he summoned a single large attack fly that began speeding through the air and homed in on Pizza Head. He could dodge it all he wanted, but the fly would keep coming until it hit.

Then he pulled out the sword stabbed into the ground and Ganondorf charged forward. All of this happened within mere moments, and he was banking on Pizza Head being too distracted by his Strikers to avoid what Ganondorf did next. He quickly jammed the two swords into the ground and swiftly rose up with Dark energy charging in his hand, "Dodge THIS!" the King of Evil roared as he crashed down onto the floor and let loose a Dark Explosion he'd been building up since the fight first began. Pizza Head could try to move away, but he couldn't possibly be fast enough to get out of the blast zone, as it were.

Of course, maybe this makes sense for Shang. After all if he had a super high perception we'd probably be questioning how he didn't see through Mulan's disguise during boot camp training.
I would have liked that for Shang but sadly Perception is not a class skill for Monk, nor was it an option for his Soldier background. So he has Insight and Intimidation instead, such as it is. XD
Shang got a 3. This better not be a sign of things to come. -_-

Action: None | Bonus Action: None

The man walked into town in silence. He stuck out rather easily, what with his Wuhou attire and wide-brimmed straw hat that protected his eyes from the sun. Shang attracted some stares some of the local women but he paid them no heed. He couldn't imagine what would've brought Mulan so far outside of their home country. But regardless, he was able to follow news and rumors that seemed to indicate that a young woman of the same nationality had once traveled through this direction. That was all Shang needed to in order to find himself in this Empire of the Sun.

But the morning dragged on and the former Captain was beginning to realize that he had not yet eaten a meal, as indicated by the low growl of his stomach. When he asked around he was pointed in the direction of a place called "Mudka's". The locals swore up and down they had the best meat and mead there. Well Shang wasn't exactly one for drinking spirits, but a hot meal with meat would do him so good. And so several minutes later, the ex-soldier pushed open the door and entered the little... was it a tavern? Or an inn? It was hard to tell by its looks. But either way he was immediately greeted by the sight of a bored-looking old lady.

"Welcome to Mudka's Mead & Meat Hut, Home of the Mead and Meat. What'll it be?"

"I'll... have your famous meat, please. And just water for the drink will be fine. Or tea, if you serve that here. Thank you." replied Shang, his tone very polite and respectful. He even put his hands together and bowed his head. A common gesture of courtesy where he came from, but around here? It looked a little strange, probably. But as always, Shang paid no mind to whatever stares or strange looks he was given by those around him.

He looked around for a place to sit. Instinctively he wanted a place where his back would be to the wall. Of course, that was probably just his military training influencing him there. He found a good enough looking table in the corner and decided to take a seat there. Coincidentally it happened to be the next table over from where a man, a girl, and two women were sitting. All of them looked foreign, though not from Wuhou like him. Shang just offered the group a courtesy bow as he had done with the woman from earlier and silently sat the table he had selected. Once he did, he finally took the straw hat off his head and sat it down on the seat next to him. And it was at this time that Shang finally let himself relax a bit. But not too much. He was a stranger in a strange land, after all.

The Under ~ Pizza Face

Ganondorf's mood had begun to sour when it became clear they'd have to deal with Pizza Face. Just when he thought they'd go one morning without having to fight something. Well it had to be done, and there was no use complaining about it. So the Gerudo just accompanied the other Seekers through the Staff Only door. What they found on the other side was... not at all what Ganondorf. Given the nature of the Tower he expected something much more food-themed. Not something quite this fantastic.

And then Pizza Face himself showed up. He was quite literally a floating pizza that resembled a face. And here Ganondorf thought that the name was simply metaphorical. Silly him. The fighting almost immediately started. Most everyone jumped into action and went to work. Artorias went for a direct assault, while the Travelers went for a more indirect assault. Meanwhile the other royals set about summoning hordes of their minions to do the fighting for them. Ganondorf thought for a moment about doing that himself, but drew his two swords instead. Some days a warlord just wanted to battle his enemies and crush them personally.

Ganondorf walked a few steps forward, letting himself get surrounded by Piglins and Forknights. Pigs? Food? How was anyone supposed to take this kind of enemy seriously? The Gerudo got started with a gout of purple fire from his Violet Flare. After that he swung his swords in sweeping, crisscross motions all around him. His size and the length of his blades made it difficult for the Piglins and Forknights to get close enough to strike. Then with a final sweeping circular slash, Ganondorf finished off the group minions around him. Then he quickly looked for another swarm of minions in order to do it all over again. The others could try and attack Pizza Face head-on if they wanted. Ganondorf was going to wait until the time was right.

The Gerudo waded through group after of group of Pizza Face's minions. Most of them didn't even register as a threat to him. His two swords became a slow whirlwind of pain and death around him. Crushing or cleaving any minion that dared to come at him. And all the while, the power of Darkness gradually built up in Ganondorf's blades. The more he swung and attacked, the more violently they glowed with dark power that further increased their strength. But rather than unleash it like he had done in Pig City, Ganondorf instead chose to hold onto the power his swords were building up.

After all, this would allow him to be a terror on the battlefield and easily wipe out swathes of enemy minions. But more importantly he didn't want to unload his full power until he was given a prime opportunity to do so against Pizza Face himself. And as long as the floating pizza freak remained high above them, then whatever damage Ganondorf could do to him would be minimal due to that factor. One of the others would surely force him down to the ground soon enough. All the King of Evil had to do, was wait for that opportunity and wipe out enemy minions in the meantime.
Hmm, would've liked to give Shang a horse, but too expensive - especially for a monk's starting gold. Oh well, it's not a great loss.
@Lucius Cypher
By the way, can I just say I love the delicious irony of the Great Stone Dragon you came up with? Especially with the context of Mushu's actions and motivations.
@rush99999

Gives Shang a chance to be as much of a contributor to the effort as Mulan was. Also it's a lot easier for Shang to leave on a journey if he remains a Captain rather than replacing his father as General.
