Bio

It took me 10 years to finally fill one of these out, but I finally did it. Welcome, stranger.

I'm Drache. I'm a millenial leftist living in the US deep south. I'm a queer polyamorous kinkster. You can find me at PRIDE, at Ren Fair, at the local farmer's market, and the monthly dark party. I play D&D, I play Skyrim, and I play with gags and blindfolds. I'm your elder femdom, even though my bones hurt.

During the day I'm an emergency animal medical professional with 20 years in the field. On my off time I'm a dog show enthusiast, a karaoke singer, a baker, and a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator. I'm a collector of rare houseplants, of rescued exotic birds, of books, of tattoos. I'm the most feral spouse with the most domestic skills. I'm perpetually exhausted but endlessly impulsive.

If you're looking for a partner to share in your high fantasy, in your dark themes, in your deranged kinky monsterfucking, send me a PM.

What else is there to say?

Just need help deciding on a familiar. I was going to go with gryphon but they aren't listed on the wiki.

Serendi watched Eva stammer and ramble on with an impassive stare, one of her dark eyebrows creeping up towards her horns as the shorter woman continued to talk. There was a barely-perceptible swish as her thin, dark tail gave a flick in the air behind her legs.

"...yes. We are the only two passengers and I don't think any of the crew is female." It seemed somewhat callous to leave it at that, especially in the face of Eva's seeming desperation to fill time with words. "...I suppose it's pretty standard for airship crews to be mostly men."

Somewhere in the midst of their awkward conversation Serendi eased her door open silently and tossed her cloak across onto the narrow bunk. She was eager to enjoy to solitude of the itty bitty cabin, and gave a slight snort at the talk of pirates. "Any ship sailing across the wildlands is at risk for pirates, but they tend to go for larger ships with more cargo." She didn't seem concerned, though that was because she knew that if she came up against a buccaneer crew she would have a few surprises in store for them if they tried to bother her.

With a shrug of her wings she disappeared into her bunk and shut the door with a neat 'snick' as the lock latched in place.
@Nate
Thanks! I moved it over to the other tab and also included some picture references.
Name: Sgarsiathoryx 'Sgar Sangra' aka. 'The Red Terror'
Age: 500+
Race: Full Dragon
Gender: Male
Alliance: Pro Magic
Appearance: In dragon form (ignore the airplane in the background), Sgar is the epitome of the crimson-scaled fire-breathing fury. He is huge, with black spiral horns on his head and spiked frills on his face. He has long black talons, a frilled tail, forked tongue, and eyes that are the colour of fire. The trailing edge of his wings are dark, as though scorched, and slightly frayed-looking. In humanoid form, he is a tall tan-skinned man with amber eyes, long black hair in a ponytail and just enough dark facial hair to be considered roguishly scruffy. His dragon mark is a wine-coloured splash down his back.

Personality: On a good day, Sgar is extroverted and charming, though he is never far from a condescending or arrogant comment. He is vain and selfish and tends to come off as aloof and snide. He has a mind for trade and has connections with wealthy merchants in order to acquire priceless magical artifacts and ancient tomes, especially those that deal with the subject of magic. On a bad day, Sgar might go from broody to a full-blown tantrum, and has a tendency to light things on fire or simply smash them into oblivion. Those who have seen one of his outbursts, especially in his full-dragon form, have given him the moniker 'The Red Terror'. When he is on a rampage he becomes exceedingly single-minded and wont let anything stand in his way. His age gives him experience and foresight, but he still frequently acts rashly.

Clothing: He tends to wear clothing that is made from expensive materials but is practical enough in design to not be considered too ostentatious. For example, a fine red silk long-sleeved shirt (the laces at the neck undone) under a hand-tooled black suede vest with matching pants and soft camelskin boots. He is never without a golden earring or two, and has a particular fondness for red gemstones. He generally dresses similarly to what a lord or prince might wear, but without any identifying insignia or crest. He is usually dressed in red, because obviously it is the best colour.

History: Sgar is one of those dragons who was bonded to a demi dragon who was killed in a battle. Consumed by grief and guilt, he didn't resist much when his soul was trapped in limbo. Eventually, mostly out of anger for his loss, he was able to escape, though he is now a bit emotionally unstable. He is finally at a point where he might consider another partnership with a demi-dragon. He currently lives in a hidden place near Granite Hallows and spends most of his time trying to improve his magical skill so that next time he flies into battle he can protect the people he cares about. He stays in his human form most of the time and pretty much everyone who knew him as a dragon has died of old age by now.

Weapons:
In dragon form: Fire breath, fangs, claws, sheer size.
In human form: Proficiency with a cutlass, magic.
Likes:
Treasure (especially gold and priceless gems), music, fine wine, rare books, hot tubs, sparring/dueling, showing off, raw meat, phoenixes.
Dislikes:
Riddles, Practical jokes at his expense, cold, bad poetry, insufferable knights, sweet food/drink, goody two-shoes.
Strengths:
Evocation magic with a focus on elemental (fire). Languages (he already knows a lot). His age.
Weaknesses:
Cold magic, arguments, shiny things, his temper, constricted spaces (when in full form).
Theme Song: Click
Other: He can be attracted to men as well as women. He has a pet phoenix named Cinder. His alignment is chaotic neutral, and he could just as easily turn to evil as good.[/b]

Ho hum.
Here is my char-sheet.

Sorry for the delay and the fairly lame start to the conversation. Eva has a much more outgoing personality than Serendi. I almost just had her go in her room and slam the door, but then our RP would be kinda boring.

Also, when it comes to the pirate attack I am more than happy to do most of the driving as far as what the pirates and crew do.
The expansive view of the greenish water of the inland sea was a delight. Serendi hadn't journeyed by airship much in the past, and never to such a distant destination. Generally the trips were only a few days from one large city in the empire to another, and most of the time she had smuggled herself aboard and didn't have the luxury of lingering on the deck to feel the wind in her long black hair. It was a slightly different experience, flying through the air with her boots firm on the wooden deck rather than powering herself through the skies on her own two wings.

Even so, she had her fill of the sight of the distant ground as soon as it became obscurred by a layer of fluffy clouds. The sun was only climbing higher, and the brilliant whiteness was a bit too much. Turning her mind to the job she had been hired to do, she decided that it would be prudent to make the best of the long weeks on the ship and do some planning.

Turning from the railing, her black boots and innately soft steps carried her through a hatch-way into the relative dimness belowdecks. The narrow corridor was lit by the soft glow of evenly-spaced lamps on the wall closest to the center of the ship. On the opposite wall, and slightly more rarely spaced were round portholes offering that same view of white and blue.

Serendi turned a corner towards the section of the ship that housed the cabins. Knowing her room was only a few doors down, she shrugged her cloak off her shoulders, her black wings springing free from the confines to stretch as much as they could in the cramped space. The long bones were thin and as black as her hair, though the membranes hanging loosely between them were a transluscent grey-purple. Her long tail had a short frill of the same soft, thin web traveling down its length. She gave it a flick as she reached her door, producing a key from one of the many secret pockets of her clothes, but just before she let it slide into the keyhole, she paused, sensing someone near.

She glanced up sharply and saw that Eva was coming towards her from the other end of the hall. The half-dragon assumed that the human was going to her own cabin, but she recalled how her expression had been more curious than disgustedly shocked when they had first come face to face, and gave a somewhat uncharacteristic nod. "Hello."
Okay. I may not get to a post until tomorrow. I picked up a second job today. :/
Alright. I was about to play an NPC to come in and give Eva hell for snooping where she doesn't belong but I didn't want to step on your toes. I'll leave it up to you. I would be happy to do it or you can and then Serendi will end up belowdecks.
