Bio

It took me 10 years to finally fill one of these out, but I finally did it. Welcome, stranger.

I'm Drache. I'm a millenial leftist living in the US deep south. I'm a queer polyamorous kinkster. You can find me at PRIDE, at Ren Fair, at the local farmer's market, and the monthly dark party. I play D&D, I play Skyrim, and I play with gags and blindfolds. I'm your elder femdom, even though my bones hurt.

During the day I'm an emergency animal medical professional with 20 years in the field. On my off time I'm a dog show enthusiast, a karaoke singer, a baker, and a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator. I'm a collector of rare houseplants, of rescued exotic birds, of books, of tattoos. I'm the most feral spouse with the most domestic skills. I'm perpetually exhausted but endlessly impulsive.

If you're looking for a partner to share in your high fantasy, in your dark themes, in your deranged kinky monsterfucking, send me a PM.

What else is there to say?

Bump since two of my partners disappeared without a trace.
Sorry, my bad.
No. And besides, a war raptor is more than a traveling mount.
A brief silence met Crann's words as she and Jimmory turned to peer in the direction of the threatening growl. It was a pause filled by Jimmory turning on his hooves, causing the grass and leaves under him to hiss and crunch, and then a gasp at the creature lurking in the shadow of a dying tree.

It stalked forward, shoulders rolling supply on its back. Its eyes should have gleamed dangerously, but instead they seemed glassy as they stared at the dryad and her companion. A long tail swished silently through the air behind it. It was a cougar, though twice as large as it should have been, and it bared its teeth in another wet growl. Hard, bony plates protruded from its collarbone and down its spine, giving it an even more fell appearance. Even if she hadn't eyes to see that there was something wrong with the dire beast, she would known it. Its tawny coat hunk loose and dull against a plague-wracked skeletal frame. Dark patches of scabbed, bloody fur squirmed with maggots. Even as it pulled back its lips she would see the broken teeth and the pale receding gums. And on top of its tortured condition, the druid would be able to feel that the life force inside it was gone, replaced by something deathly and unnatural and full of a vile hatred.

The dire puma sprang without warning as all cats were want to do, racing right towards Crann. It should have been staggering from the pain and weakness of its abused state, but instead seemed to ignore it completely, gathering itself to spring with claws out.

Jimmory hadn't the time to draw his bow, and against nearly 500lbs of undead feline it was a miracle that the cold terror in his gut even allowed him to move his hooves. In a pure panic, the faun sprang away, bounding towards the thickest of the forest.
Additional Questions brought you by Holy R. Enigma/Landaus Five-One.

What type of landscape is Ebonfort located in? Valley, Plains and etc.
Mostly the 'Kingdom/Nation.'

What government type Ebonfort is? (Monarchy, Trading Republic, and etc)

Just had to ask these two additional questions. Since the nation of Ebonfort does sound kinda nice.

Most of Ebonfort Kingdom is located in a deciduous forest called the Chartric Forest. Towards the north, the forest becomes the more coniferous Bahora Forest. The city of Stone Crest is north of Ebonfort Capital and is located in the Indiga Mountains. Towards the south the land becomes more grassy and less forested where Azure Strand and Ruby Banks are located. This grassy land extends over much of the continent and is called the Kerawac or "Valley of Screamers". In general, it is a land rich in resources and the Ebonfort kingdom is well-organized to keep her citizens fed and sheltered. A lot of this is answered in detail in the Cities section of the Wiki.

The Ebonfort government is strictly military (also on the wiki).
Good. So if you need anything else you can either ask here or on Skype. :)
Alright, sorry for the delay, I wanted to get home to my computer to type this rather than use my phone because that would have been a huge pain in the ass.

1a. The cause of the disaster that robbed the world of magic for 200 years 300 years (sorry, typo) is currently being discovered by several characters in an on-going quest which you can read about here and here. It essentially involves the attempt of a few mortals to stop a power-mad God from taking over the world and the consequences of their actions.
1b. I am concerned that you may have the wrong idea about how post-apocalyptic this world is. Tessanis (the name of the planet) has never reached a level of technology that we would consider modern. This is a medieval setting. The set-back occurred because magic was stripped from most of the world, and magic is what many cultures relied on in lieu of technology. A scramble for resources caused certain cultures to thrive (Ebonfort) while others perished (Vircastoria) and even more were created in the aftermath (the Kvaren and Pyresia).

2a. I am not sure about the total population in numbers of the entire planet. @Twhirtley will have to weigh in on this one but you can except populations of cities to be similar to real world medieval numbers.
2b. Right now the only "planet" known per se is Tessanis. There are other "realms" such as the Feywild, Aether, and Abyss that are accessed through magic rather than any sort of space travel. This is more akin to Planar travel in D&D lore.

3. For plot reasons, not all of the cultures or cities of the world have been discovered, but what your character will likely know is that Ebonfort is currently the strongest kingdom around, primarily due to its non-reliance on magic. Frigmount to the north is also strong, but was mysteriously cut off from the rest of the world (the cause being discovered in the quest and RP threads I linked above). There are now rumours of cities in the desert to the south and the west (Pyresia, dragon city, pretty awesome). There is the potential for us to unveil more at any time.

This universe is completely separate from any other so we're not having anyone ported over through space jumps and things like that.

Edit: In addition, since it was touched on earlier, the way we RP here is a bit more sandbox style than others. We don't just have one massive thread that progresses chronologically through time. You are free to start new threads to RP certain events in any place that you like. If it's something that requires GM guidance, we're here to do that. There are also always quests going to explore/discover/fight baddies, etc. These RP threads can be set in any point in time (within reason). To get a better idea of what I'm talking about, check out the character sheets and see how people's RPs are listed at the bottoms.
Please clarify what certain things you're interested in knowing about so I can best narrow the scope of my reply.

I can also be reached on Skype at drache04
I think you should take a look at the wiki as you seem to have a poor idea of the level of technology present in this setting. Guns are not a thing. Also, agriculture is already a thing.
No, of course not. Your character can be as ambitious as you want. There's no guaruntee of success but I'm sure there will be some characters sympathetic to that goal (namely, the kvaren in general).
