I'll try my best to make them soon! xD
@Dragonfly 9 On the subject of power limitations, I feel it's worth mentioning that Nerissa can only manipulate water from the air, lakes, and other inorganic sources, she can't pull the water out of a living being. She'd be able to defeat monsters way too easily otherwise.
Why have 3 shy girls…
Name: Margaret “Mary” White
Age: 15
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Appearance(Civilian AND Superhero):
Personality: Mary is a shy and quiet individual by nature. She was always this way, and being bullied as a kid didn't help. She is very sensitive and emotional. She can easily be driven to tears when She's sad. She fears being bullied. She usually speaks with a quiet voice, and occasionally a stutter when She's nervous. She also becomes very apologetic when someone shows any hint of being upset. she likes animals of all kinds. From the cute ones to the not so cute ones, she can find something to love about every species. She usually prefers being with animals than with people. Animals will listen without judgement, and only expect a little kindness in return. She is gentle and softspoken, which seems to be the reason why She has such an easy time with animals. She gets scared easily, her worst phobia being stage fright. She gets really nervous when there are a lot of people watching her do anything. She’s scared that she'll mess up, and that she'll be laughed at. She really wants to be brave, but it's harder than it looks.
Despite being shy, she is by no means antisocial. If you talk to her, you'll find She's quite friendly, and polite. She can laugh and make jokes like any other kid. She is always happy to have to new friends, because her shyness makes it difficult to make them. She is very affectionate and loyal to those She likes. She hates it when people are angry around her, so She tries her best to keep the peace. In conversations, She is usually more of a listener than a talker, and she has no problems being a sounding board when someone wants to vent (As long as they don't hurt her.) Mary is very kind to others, often to a fault. She is very trusting of people, and is willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Mary is usually very difficult to anger, and is very quick to forgive someone when She does get mad. She doesn't want to burden others with her problems, and She fears being made fun of, so She keeps them to himself. This causes her personal frustration, and She occasionally acts passive agressive towards those She disagrees with because of it. When it gets to be too much, She'll lash out at the target, and let out her pent up rage. She dislikes bullying (towards himself or others,) as well as people being needlessly cruel to animals. Doing one of those things is the best way to get her upset.
Mary is very careful and calculating. She always thinks before she speaks, and prefers not to wrecklessly jump into danger. However, due to her insecurity She is often uncertain if the choices she makes are the right ones. She can easily be convinced to change her mind. This leaves her with some anger when the plan fails and She knew her original idea would have worked. She also doesn't like violence all that much, having been a victim of it most of her life. Although She doesn't look like it, Mary has a big appetite. She likes eating many different kinds of foods, and has the cooking skills to match.
Background: Mary was born a princess, but she doesn’t know that. She was taken to Charm as a baby by one of the queen’s servants where he raised her like a daughter. As such she was raised as a modern girl, with no idea of her true heritage.
As far as Mary knows, she was born and raised in Charm. For the most part, her life was normal. She loves the man she believes to be her father, and hasn’t had any reason to question anything. Mary was often a target of bullying because of his shyness, tendency to get scared easily, he was short, having clumsy moments, or for being that weird girl who sits in the forest alone to read. No matter what she did to get them to stop it, it always failed or they found something else to give her crap about. It gave her self-esteem issues, resulting in her becoming even more timid. As a result, she had very few friends growing up. He didn't tell anyone about the bullying, lest it become worse. She saw other kids get beaten up much worse after they snitched, and she didn't want that to happen. So she kept it all inside and let her resentment build.
Early on, Mary always knew she had a special connection to animals. They seem to be fond of her due to his softspoken nature. She would often finds sick, or injured animals and cares for, plays with, and feeds them when no one else will. Around animals, Mary felt much more like herself. She found relief from the stresses of life, and she's found they are the best friends she could ask for.
Potential Quirks:
- Likes to read, and in particular enjoys fantasy and fairy tales
- Is secretly a romantic. She likes reading romance novels, and hopes to find a prince of her own. She’s too shy to actually approach a boy herself though.
- Is squeamish about blood
- Her favorite food is apples!
Abilities(for civilian form): Animals are naturally drawn to Mary, and she seems to be able to understand them.
Powers: With her singing voice, Mary is able to summon animals to do her bidding. Whether that’s a flock of birds, a herd of deer, to even bugs and rodents. They will fight for her, or even do her chores for her to the best of their ability. The animals are all too happy to help.
It’s not just animals she can command with her singing. She can even command trees and plants around to come to life and do her bidding too.
Fairy Tale Character You Are: Snow White
Other:
- She can’t bear the idea of eating animals, and as such she’s a vegetarian.
- She is not sure what she wants to do when she’s done with school. She has considered becoming a veterinarian, but her distaste for blood has ruled that out.
- She has a beautiful singing voice, but is embarrassed to let humans hear it. Singing to an audience of animals is ok though. Animals don’t judge.
@Dragonfly 9 Question, do people from Grimm have their powers from birth, or do they also get the vials while in Charm?
Btw I call dibs on the Little Mermaid if that's ok. She's going to be a foil to Crimson's character in that she's also from Grimm, but was sent to Charm much more recently, so still has some adapting to do. I'll be playing up the near-literal "fish out of water" thing.
EDIT: CS is done!

I would say for Precognition, she can't use really use it at will. This can only work if she either focuses and uses it through a ritual (like tarot card reading etc.), or if her life, or someone else's life, is in danger.
For Object Creation, she can't use it to create living beings, and she can't make anything large (like a car). She can only make things that a person can hold in one or two hands.
Name: Sophia
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance(Civilian AND Superhero):
Personality(Also detail the potential changes in your character's personality as a hero if that's a thing!): As a civilian, Sophia is a very introverted individual. She's a quiet and shy girl, but she is hardworking and kind. That said, this combination of traits means that she can be quite a doormat. She is also seen as an easy target for bullying.
As a superhero, Sophia would have much more confidence. As a civilian, Sophia would shrink at any challenge or even the slightest insult. As a superhero, she can evenly match any challenge with wit and foresight.
Background: Sophia is the eldest child of three in a normal, but busy, family. There seemed to be hardly any time to rest. Sophia never minded helping her parents by watching over her two siblings and taking care of chores. Her father is a lawyer, and her mother is a doctor. So, the both of them were always busy. But it was clear that the both of them loved Sophia and their siblings. They never forgot anyone's birthday and always took time to attend events that involved their children.
That said, even with a normal family and a happy life, there are still problems.
When Sophia isn't taking care of her siblings or dealing with schoolwork, her free time is always filled up with extracurricular activities her parents signed her up for, many of which are sports or arts.
While she wasn't popular by any means in school, and didn't have very many friends, she did well academically. Her family and the school board encouraged her to join the student council. That would allow her more time to study, and her parents wouldn't feel the need to pressure her into another extracurricular activity.
However, she ended up as treasurer. Sophia knew that she wasn't ever going to become student council president because trying to get that role is essentially trying to win a popularity contest. That was never going to happen with Sophia.
With how busy her life has been, even now, Sophia has never really thought about what she wanted to do with her life. It's always been about fulfilling her obligations to the people around her...
Their wishes were her commands,
Potential Quirks: *Normally, her voice is quiet, but when she tells a tale, her voice grows to a normal volume and confident as she weaves a tale for those who listen.
*She may say what someone is about to say. It's scarily accurate.
*Having a constant and nauseating sense of Deja Vu.
Abilities(for civilian form): *Literary Mastery
Powers (for hero form; make sure it relates to a fairy tale of some sort!) : *Precognition
*Object Creation
Fairy Tale of Inspiration(if that's a thing)/Fairy Tale Character You Are(again, if that's a thing): One Thousand and One Nights; Scheherazade and/or Genies
Other: Ask her about any book or story she's read. She can tell you everything about it!
<Snipped quote by Dragonfly 9>
It’s true, I do usually prefer to play queer guys, and as much as the idea of making Snow White as a cute little gay boy excites me… I have played female characters before and think I could handle it. People on the internet used to mistake me for a girl once upon a time.
So… how’s the backstory going to work? I’m guessing she was brought to Charm by the Huntsman, or the 7 Dwarves…
Was she raised knowing she’s Snow White or no?
And for powers, she’s definitely going to have the ability to have animals do her bidding, particularly by singing.
Interested! Looking at the CS and how the hero form works, I see this is essentially a magical girl/boy RP, which is a big plus.
So uh… if no one else wants it, I’m willing to be Snow White.
