Hopefully, it's as good as the others. :'3

But yeah, Crow's heading to Bradena! Who do you guys think they should run into when in that city first?
Crow

It was a bright, sunny morning at the Heroes' Cemetery, but Crow didn't really match the day's overall atmosphere. Yes, they had put on an air of semi-cheerfulness, to avoid any questions the couple taking them to Bradena had, but the moment they had stepped into the cemetery, it felt as though all their emotions had gone numb. They still wanted to see Peter's grave before going to their final destination, however. With a heavy sigh, they managed to keep walking, saluting to each hero's, heroine's , and legend's grave as they passed them by.

Finally, they saw Peter's grave. It wasn't as highly decorated or given as many things as the other heroes who had fought, either the eldritch dragon or some earlier threat. Crow knew why, though; Peter, despite being as useful and competent as both Crow and the other heroes were, had always been seen as Crow's sidekick. Because he was the one who acted as Crow's voice, because he was the most wide-eyed and curious about life compared to the others, because he was small and usually perched on Crow's shoulder...even before Peter died, he was always seen as expendable, and his sacrifice and death didn't help matters.

Crow felt themselves clenching the paw that held the letter into a fist, only to take a long, slightly shaky breath and redirect their energy to walking over to Peter's grave, smoothing the slightly crumpled letter over until it almost looked brand new. They then folded the letter into two, took out a rock from one of their pockets, and placed the letter underneath Peter's gravestone before putting the rock on top of it, making sure the letter didn't fly away if there were any strong winds moving through the cemetery in the future.

After smiling at Peter's gravestone and trying to hold back tears, Crow started to head back to the carriage that was going to Bradena, but not before bowing in front of his grave.

The letter in particular was a picture Crow drew based on a memory they had when Peter was still sentient, and the both of them, as well as the rest of the accompanying heroes, hadn't defeated the eldritch dragon the first time yet. Despite that, it was also a memory of a simpler time, where Peter was holding up a masquerade mask much too big for his face, while perching on Crow's shoulder and cheering them up by doing silly voices and holding up the various masks. Crow in the picture, meanwhile, still had their mask-helmet on, and despite that, still looked like they could only barely stop themselves from pulling off the mask-helmet and laughing freely.

The words underneath the picture said:

"Hey, Crow here!

I still don't know where you are right now, but I decided to give you a gift; a snapshot of our friendship, when your soul was still inhabiting your automaton body and we grew so close, we were practically siblings.

...I miss you a lot, you know that? I wish I could be angry at you for doing this, but, as far as I know, you don't have a soul anymore, and I'm just a weirdo, grasping at nonexistent straws and still choosing the one that'll keep me in denial of your death, over and over again.

I...really hope that isn't the case.

But, anyway, if you still do have a soul, and you do still want to reunite with me, just know that your body is in Bradena, alright? Long story short, the dragon guy came back, and I have to team up with the others to find a way to seal him away/destroy him again.

...Maybe you have the right idea, not coming back. While I still want to help, a small part of me longs for rest. I have a feeling that that rest won't come anytime soon, however.

Goodbye, my friend. May we reunite whenever we both can, alright?"

Your Friend,

Crow
Good posts, guys ~

@King Cosmos @Dragonfly 9 Do you two need any more outside input for your starting posts? Not to hurry you, but since you two are the ones not yet locked into an interaction.

As an aside, I haven't done a group roleplay in years, but back when I did we would use an Etherpad page (a collaborative online text editor) to write dialogue and then post the whole conversation in one go, instead of having to do ten small posts back and forth. That's something to consider for the characters who are about to get into a one-on-one conversation.

Nah, I've been busy. I'm planning on doing my post right after typing out this one, actually!

I understand your worry, though; thanks for the offer! <3
Interested too!
Interested! I'll probably play a young slave who's heard a whole bunch of legends and tall tales about famous heroes and warriors, and, being the easily awestruck teen she is, tried to remember them enough to tell them orally(because she doesn't know how to read or write), and become a hero herself one day. They're basically one of the reasons why she still has hope(with one other reason being she wants to see the sun and what's outside the mines someday).
*kicks down the door* KINGDOM HEARTS!? COUNT ME IN!

Three questions, though:

1. Can we use OCs in this? I'm not exactly good with controlling canons.

2. Can I use a custom CS for this? I think being confused about the standard CS you usually use is probably the reason why I didn't stay long in your other RPs, to be honest. :')

3. Will we get keyblades/equivalent to keyblades after getting shipwrecked/later on in the RP, or will we get/have custom/canon weapons instead? I'm okay with either; I'm just wondering.

Yeah I did catch that Peter is still around, just no longer sentient, Eskel meant destroyed as in the whatever part of the magic that made him sentient has been damaged beyond repair etc.

Also I did something about Eskel not even knowing what Crow looked like under the plague doctor outfit, but I took it out because your sheet seemed to imply that they did take off sometimes. Happy to go with that idea though if you want.

Oh, okay. Thanks for the clarification! I must've read something wrong. :')

And, honestly? I'm okay with either and, like, Crow probably does take it off sometimes, especially if it's hot.
Will probably make my first post soon! As with the initial idea, Crow will either visit their parents', Peter's, or Octavia's grave in it(whichever makes more sense), and then will come to Bredana either in an automaton-driven carriage(on the off chance that Crow helped the owners of the carriage create non-sentient, automaton horses so real horses could rest/not be abused, and now, they've decided to return the favor), or through some artificer shit, idk, lol.

Also, a quick clarification: Crow's, well, automaton crow(Peter) did die, but less in the way of his body and mind having been destroyed, but more in the way that while Crow was able to gather the heavily burnt, metal pieces and restore his body, his mind is still, to this day, very much lost. Crow still keeps Peter's body around, though, because making another "voice" is very tedious and time consuming, and Crow, being the workaholic helper they are, doesn't have much time nor energy to focus on making one now(that, and they don't want to replace Peter with another automaton/are scared that the new one would also become sentient due to an accident Crow would make while sleep deprived or something). That's why I'm debating on Crow visiting Peter's honorary grave; while his body is functional and very much doing its job, without his mind, he's basically a shell of his former self, and as far as Crow knows, what made Peter himself is now lost forever.

((Sorry for the wall of text; I just saw in Eskel's relationships hider that he noted Peter "was destroyed", and I decided to come in and say, "well, aCTUALLY-" xD))

But, anyway, back on a lighter note: Do you guys think that the whole party has seen Crow outside of their plague doctor outfit, or just a few of them/no one at all?
Me too!
I can help with Crow if any of you guys want me to! <33
