Hey I'm interested in this RP and I have a few ideas for characters. I want to know what is slots are still open?

Iris

Maria's psychic message sound ed off in Iris's mind, interrupting her nap with Amy. Iris twitched awake, not knowing if the message was really from Amy or her guilt for taking some time off. Not hearing anyone or anything else at the moment, Iris looked back towards Amy and smiled. Amy was still asleep and looking very comfortable. Iris nuzzled back into Amy.

Although the Iris felt a great deal of comfort cuddling Amy, this sense of anxiety lingered in her mind. The "what if that was real" scenario eventually led to action as Iris left need to go grab her omni-tool from her other clothes. Once obtained, Iris sat on the side of the bed, holding Amy's hand, and then searched up the local news coverage.

What Iris saw almost made her gasp. Every local news channel was covering the pillar of flames. Before continuing, Iris turns it down lower and dims the screen to not disturb Amy. So from she could tell, that was probably Alan then 'oh now other members are joining. I should probably head out their myself, where is it? Iris looked where it was and let it a a disappointed sigh. It was too far for her to get their in a reasonable amount of time. She didn't have a vehicle not a movement spell. If their was solid earth then I could do it but just metal passageways I would need Samuel to move me. Best to just let them get back and then I'll help out. Until then, Iris went back to laying down, just keeping an eye on the battle and when they are getting back.

Now might not be the best time to get excited over what happened with Amy. But just staying on standby while laying in the same bed as her makes that difficult. Remembering the fun parts, the awkward moments, and the... nice times of the date. Iris blushed as she simply remembered the moment they had. The trust they put in each other felt nice. Iris tried to come up with more eloquent words for her feelings but all she could muster was it felt nice. While letting herself get taken away with her own feelings, the other star marines came back.

Iris hastily got up and then gently shut the door to Amy's room. She started to jog to their location and was halfway when she realized she was jogging their in her nightdress. With an audible fuck, she chose to continue to the other star marines. Alan was in a critical state and it was her job to take care of him. She might not care for him particularly but keeping her taste in nightdresses to herself isn't worth letting the doctor taking care of the injured by himself. Steeling her resolve to not get embarrassed, she ran the rest of the way their.

As she arrived, Dr. Millard immediately spotted her. He didn't seem to pay much attention to her outfit and instead handed her a strange device. The remote to the system they have been working on for a bit. Iris was very excited as she had no idea how long it was going to take to finish it but it seemed that Millard really put in the hours to finish it. Iris smiled as she seemed to examine the remote, "Thanks Dr. Millard, I know this was really time intense but hopefully it will be worth it. I'll go do my job."

Walking towards Alan, she got increasingly worried as she hasn't scene an injury like this before. The crystals protruding, no growing out of him, reminded her of Kaisoken crystals. How this happened Iris doesn't know but what she does know if with this new system she could heal him. Using the system was pretty simple. The interface was just a list with a headshot and a name to the right of it. Iris opened Alan's file, a quick security password was needed. She knew the password. As Iris entered the password, she wasn't sure what she would see. She saw a very revealing Alan. His body was updating every minute. The body she could see was a bit hungrier and more importantly, uninjured. She looked up the file up and down and have her magic a chance.

She didn't know what would happen exactly but what happened was good. A white light began to envelop Alan from where Iris set her hand on his leg. The light suddenly stopped around his midsection. Iris found it strange but what could you expect from a first time use. She moved her hand up because it felt like it would help and it did. The light began to stretch further up and eventually it made to his head, Iris's hand ending up in his forehead. The magic finally took as the light doubled maybe tripled in intensity. The injuries disappeared, the crystals vanished, his temperature was back to normal. However his memories remain the same. So hopefully he doesn't start panicking when he comes to.

Iris quickly let herself out as she really didn't want to start their afterwards. She knows she was going to get yelled at be one of her higher-ups. Just if she going to be chewed out, it will be wearing a full set of clothes, not in her new gown. She ran off to her and Samuel's room and got into her jeans and put one of Samuel's shirts. Then a meeting was called for moonstrike

As she arrived the only thing she got out of it was she are poor now, and we are going to the crab nebula. Well at least I got one date with Amy. I'll fill her in about this later. Plus I need to patch things up with someone

After the meeting, Iris went up to Samuel seeming a bit meekish, Iris said "Hey Samuel, I know I probably definitely worried you by not responding and stuff. And I'm sorry about that but..." Iris eyes seemed to wonder off, as if she was looking for an excuse. Eventually she sighed and looked back at him, now looking a bit more negative realizing their is no excuse, "I ignored my Omni-tool because I was out doing something with someone. Can we talk about it more in the room?"

Iris

Iris was elated to hear that Amy wanted to go on a shopping trip with her. In truth, Iris hasn't been on a real shopping trip in a long time. Before the mission, they were looking at weapons, but that was to sate her brother's curiosity more than anything else. And before that, her parents only took Samuel and her together, pushing towards cute matching outfits. Going with a super cute girl, hell, a girl has been Iris's list of things to do for years. She got a bit excited when Amy said she hadn't either, it made it feel like a little adventure.

Iris continued to listen as she relaxed her stance to lean on the wall. Iris's nervous phase at the beginning of the conversation has been replaced with her usual demeanor as the relief that she had actually done what she set out to do. Iris had no issue being forward with someone in most topics or scenarios thanks to her training in the Ascendency, but with something as personal as what she wants, she felt awkward. Similar to a novice being presented with their first big task, she had the feeling that she was fumbling and going to fail this basic task but she did it.

Amy had asked her what they wear at sleepovers and honestly, she only knew from having to share a room so often. Iris slightly nodded her head and said, "Well from my experience, you usually try to sleep in what is comfortable to you. Some people like heavier sets of sleepwear. I know some people who would just fall asleep in what they had on. Me, I usually stick with a pair of pajama shorts and a t-shirt. But I kinda want to get something fancier now."

Iris watched Amy get lost in her own thoughts. Giving Iris plenty of time to appreciate Amy for Amy. Iris has never met anyone so warm before. At first, it was just weird but it quickly turned into a form of affection towards it. Then seeing her struggle and get depressed had her worry for Amy. Strangely, that was a good thing to Iris. Iris may seem a bit airy and nice but she knows more than anyone that she is not. Whether she was like this before or after that war is hard to tell but all she knows is that if you aren't her brother and maybe Tarak, she doesn't care for you. Even during that fight with the mercenary, if the tides kept going in his favor, she would have left Nero there without a second thought. Amy is the exception to that and she hopes to learn from this as well as have fun.

Iris blushes and sends a thumbs up at Amy when she says she trusts her and that she was pretty. As Amy expressed concern about the compatibility of the clothes with her, Iris waved her hand to dismiss it and said, "Most of the places can probably modify it there and if they can't there is bound to be a seamstress at the Bazaar. Besides, I know you will look beautiful in anything."

Iris looks at the extended hand and takes it saying sure as she gets in close. Just as they were about to start talking, Iris felt a buzz from her back pocket, it was her omni-tool containing a message from the Doctor. The final preparations for their health monitoring system were in place and would finish soon. It was really important that it was functional because it would allow her to have more free time for her date. With a sigh, Iris turns towards Amy with a disappointed look on her face, "It seems that I need to go. The final preparations for the in-depth health monitoring system are in place. It should let me have a better way of using my healing magic. I guess we'll have to save the talks for the shopping trip." she started to move away and go to work.

Over the rest of the day she was working, she used all her extra time planning her trip with Amy to go without a hitch. With the docking of the ship at the galactic Bazaar, she met up with Amy. Iris had dressed in her only set of good clothes in hopes to look more presentable and more appealing. Iris gave a big smile to Amy and walks up to her with a happy, "Ready?"

Iris

As Iris, Samuel, and Nero were pulling out after their scuffle with the magical Birdman she heard a familiar voice manifested in her head. Maria had alerted her that enemies are starting to close in. Iris's team was closer to the extraction point than the others. Iris sped up her retreat and got into the ship.

It wasn't long until the rest of the crew were on board along with the objective and some new crewmates. Before she had could doth her gear, Ashton and Flame had a little big gift to give to the crew. It was some money. Well, that was an understatement. It was enough money to make Iris's brain break. One hundred million credits... I'm rich. I'm filthy rich. I can buy a farm. I can buy the good sweets. Should I invest? Should I keep it in my mattress? Wait no, I would first need to buy a really big mattress. These thoughts continue to play in Iris's head. She had already accepted the idea is living a normal life living paycheck to paycheck. But this was a mind-boggling amount of money. After recollecting her dropped IQ, she decided it might be best to shower before talking to Amy.

In the shower, she started to reflect on her mistakes in the mission. In Iris's mind, if she had been more vigilant they would have never been spotted in the first place. Iris let out a sigh remembering how useless she felt during the actual fight. I should've struck when the light went off. I already knew where he was. But no, I stumbled and choose to run and he took the initiative. We were lucky that those fucks seemed to have business with him. She leans against the wall as she realizes that Tarak of all people is going to give them their mission reviews. She can already see it now. But quickly she accepts they she might get chewed out and moves onto more important thoughts

Sweat. I sweat, it's normal, for humans. but what about Amy? Like, does she sweat? It's normal to sweat right? Is it? Wait is it weird to sweat? Omg it is weird. Either way time to get out before I use all the hot water.

As she chills out, she has a thought. If we are going to the bazaar again then maybe Amy might want to go on a little shopping thing before the sleepover. I should let her know before it gets too late. Iris started to make her way over to Amy. When she could finally see Amy, she spoke to her, "Hey Amy, since we are going back to the bazaar, how would you feel about going on a little shopping trip together before the sleepover?" She was trying to act a bit normal but it was probably obvious that she was excited about going shopping.

Iris

Iris continued to help make a path back to the ship as she heard Amy's response. Iris let out an actual sigh, audible to those around her. A weird sense of relief washed over Iris as Amy wanted to also hang. Iris only basked in that relief for a second before she decided she should respond. Let's do this! Hey Amy, I'll bring some movies and games as well! And I won't bring too many sweets. I would rather spend the night chatting you up instead of sweets. See you when I get back! Iris has developed a weird belief that Amy can only hear her thoughts when she says Hey Amy.

Iris has started to move lightly through the prison ship filled with a newfound grace as pleasant feelings refreshed her spirits. Not moving any slower or less stealthily, just some spring you could say. A wide smile was on her face as she was escaping, weird when you consider where they are. As Iris was blissfully moving she started to prepare on how she should set up the sleepover. Iris squinted as she contemplated whose room they should be in, I guess the first question is it in my room or in her room. I mean, her room might be her private place and she might not be ready to have people in there. But my room has Samuel and he can be a bit rude to certain people. Okay, I'll kick out Samuel for the night. He can sleep with Tarak or maybe I can get Millard to drug him for the night and leave him in the infirmary, Iris snickered a bit at the idea of that. My room, I think. Okay now for what pajamas to wear. I mean I have… Iris's face goes straight and she almost falls straight on her face. OH MY GOD I DON'T HAVE PAJAMAS! I always just sleep in some shorts and Samuel's T-shirts. Not cute at all. Maybe I can borrow from some of the other girls. No that won't work all the other girls would be too tight except for Avelyn but I have a feeling she doesn't have extra pajamas. Iris continued thinking to herself in different leisure clothes trying to figure out what to wear.

Eventually, Iris calmed down and accepted that she would have to wear her normal clothes and at least wear her best underwear. Then another idea popped into her head that brought a blush to her face, I wonder what Amy is going to wear…

Iris

Iris had to focus on destroying the thick plating that protected the armory from any sort of traumatic events. She was cutting a circle out, somewhat smaller than a manhole cover. She had hoped that the size of the whole would prove too small for the mercenary to follow. A way to stop the Tayanen goons from following wasn't something that she couldn't do by herself. She would need Samuel to hastily arc weld the hole shut. Iris looked over to see how close was Nero and Samuel to her.

As she looked toward Nero she witnessed an onyx wave pulse out from him. As the energy rushed toward her, Iris balled up to protect her organs and face from whatever that wave is. Moments after Nero's magic had made contact with her body, she realized that Nero let out some sort of AOE defense or enhancement magic. Iris let out a brief sigh, Man that scarred me. She didn't know that Nero had that kind of magic but its umbra color and range and use had mystified Iris. Iris could feel her nature pulling her back into fighting rather than running. As those desires continued to tug at her, she was reminded by Nero that we were leaving and she turned her attention back to making the hole.

She focused on making the hole once again. This time she had steeled herself to just keeping an eye on the fight. She watched her brother make his super cool railgun, a little jealous that he got to have the fun in this fight and that she, once again, did not get to punch anyone. Oh well, their will be more missions. Plus maybe if I ask Nero he be willing. Abaddon would be fun too but I have a feeling like I'll end up seeing stars before I actually do anything. Her concentration didn't waver even as the Sonic boom raddled her eardrums. She looked to where the baton had impacted expecting, no hoping for a dead bird. Instead, she saw nothing. The lack of visuals on her enemy made her anxiety spike as her heart rate increased. The hole was done at this point and they just needed Nero to get over here to leave.

It seemed the fight wasn't over as 2 of those plasma shots were fired at her and Samuel, trying to cover his movement to Nero. Iris quickly grabbed some railing near the wall, and with a jump, pulled herself out of the way of the shot entirely. She didn't need to check if Samuel dodged. If he didn't she would either be dead or flat on her butt. As she landed she was able to hear the slimes moving around. Some moving towards Iris and Samuel one moving to the ceiling. As she began to prepare herself for conflict with the Tayanen She heard from, Amy!?. Her voice was surprising but brought a sense of calm to her in a strange way. She decided to try to respond back to her before the slimes got there. Yes Amy, I can hear you just fine. And thanks for keeping an eye on us. It really brings peace to my mind. Tayanen are very annoying to fight. To the point that Iris wishes that she made a spell specifically to kill them. Might do that actually. Got one for Kaisoken why not Tayanen?] She was prepared for whatever was going to happen though. As the Tayanen were finally upon her and Samuel.

Iris was planning how to take care of the slime on the roof as a purple portal opened up and a whole slew of magics came through it. Iris was starting to get annoyed with how messy this fight was getting. As she readied herself for whatever was going to happen, something entirely unexpected happened. Bluebird and his 3 slimes were ripped through a portal, ending the fight right there. She heard Nero ask if the hole was ready, she was irritated so she almost cursed at Nero but instead she would do something constructive with her stress. Iris picked the heavy metal slab up and threw it against the floor to relieve some of the pent-up stress she built up during this mission. After that, she smiled at Nero and Samuel and said, Follow me and I'll get up back to Xuanxang in no time, as she jumped down the hole and began to navigate their way back to the ship.

Iris could still feel a sort of connection with Amy and that excited her a bit. It is like having another person with her as she is traveling and she really likes that. Iris thinks to herself that now is her chance to get some time with Amy. Iris was getting a bit nervous and going back and forth on whether she should ask. I mean she is super sweet and cool and cute. Plus I want to check up on her. She felt sure of asking her now but before that, she questioned herself Wait, I thought she was cute. Where did that come from? Is she cute? Iris thought of Amy's image and slowly it became clear to Iris that Amy is very cute, even hot. Iris made up her mind. She spoke in her mind, hoping that Amy would pick it up. Hey Amy, so I was thinking of maybe if you're up for it to have a sleepover? Hanging out and eating some sweets.Iris kept heading to the ship hoping for a yes.

Iris

Enchanting the entire communication system was a delicate process. Iris didn't know what enchanting felt like to Flame but to her it was thousands of paths that would spread out like roots. She had to navigate each one to ensure whatever she was working with would properly conduct whatever magic Iris wanted. Some materials were better for enchanting then others. Although normal technology wouldn't be Iris's first choice, having the entire communication system share the burden would lessen the strain on it. With this Iris extended the range of enchanting through the wires to make a larger enchanting area. The paths were thin and fragile, forcing Iris to take tender care of each one. She carefully laid the path for Amy's magic, focusing fully on not overwhelming the system.

The stage had been set for Amy, all she has to do is perform and Iris will make everything else workout. However, Amy begun to fret over her capabilities and begun up back down from her task. Amy gave Iris more than enough signs telling her she was nervous. Iris mind scattered for a second, tangling her paths back into a wicked knot, incapable of conducting magic. Fuck, I lost concentration and I have to start over. But first I need to support Amy. We need her right now.

Iris turned herself to face Amy more directly, believing that eye contact is important. Iris reached her arm and gently touched slightly above her arm, "Hey Amy, can I talk to you real quick?" Although the inflection would have it come off as a request, Amy should be able to tell it was going to happen anyways. After hopefully earning Amy's attention, Iris begun to talk to her. "Her Amy, I can tell your getting a little nervous about everything and I can understand actually. A surprise battle and then having a challenging role thrusted upon you is enough to make the best men panic. But that panic and unease will lessen as you begin to try to do it. Trust me that I'll get it out there for you. I trust you to try and do it. Even if it only gives us a few seconds then you have done so much. So let's do this Amy!" Iris has Samuel and herself scoot over to make room for Amy to sit too. If she takes the offer, Iris will put a hand on her shoulder in an display of support.

Iris laid the paths back out, moving with more haste than previously. Once she had finished laying the network out once more, she went to hold Samuel's hand. Iris knew that Amy's lack of confidence could have temporarily shaken his concentration as it did with her. Without much thought she was already rubbing the back of his hand as she held it, trying to alleviate any stress that may be building as the fight was getting more heated.

Iris was nervous for those everything the fray. Not only was she worried about then going in without a healer. She was also immensely worried that some of them were going into the fight with a lot of emotions. Emotions will lead to someone getting hurt for sure. She can feel this anxiousness just building in her chest. One that makes her wish that she went with them. She was about to start thinking about it more, but if she continued her web would crumple again. She just put these ideas out of her mind for now. The mission comes first.

@6slyboy6

Abaddon

After delivering the food to the doctor, Abaddon went to rest in his room for an hour or so before he was notified that one of the thrusters was losing efficiency. "Judging by the difference between the twin thrusters output it could be coupling error, hopefully." As much as Abaddon wanted to ride his high peacefully, the drop in efficiency could hurt Natasha's ability to maneuver if combat arose. Abaddon slowly rose from his bed and begun to make way to the internals of the ship. When he arrived he checked if the power wasn't diverting properly, something he could fix from the control panel. Nope. Alright, let's check if it isn't getting the same orders as its brother. Nope… Maybe the fuel injector is being finicky? NOPE! Fuck it, Going into the thruster area. Abaddon knows he shouldn't go near the thrusters when the ship is thrusting but better him than Laurey to get hit with plasma. As he went to one of the catwalks to just look. It wasn't hard to see what the issue was, the coupling was having an error alright. It wasn't pressurizing properly. Abaddon just starred at the issue for a while before speaking out to no one, "Okay then, well, just going to take a picture of this and send it to Laurey."

Hey Laurey, it's your friendly galactic neighbor Abaddon. Just messaging you that the fuel pressurization on the duel thruster 02 isn't being fully functional. I tried to see if I could fix it remotely, and nope. I can get it fully operational until you fix it but we'll be eating through fuel. I think we'll have enough to get the planet of plenty.

With care, Abaddon

Finishing his message, he sent the picture to Laurey. Abaddon decided to leave the area before he developed some sort of malignant crystal growth. Abaddon started to head to his room once more but he couldn't rest now, he looked at his miscellaneous list of things to take care of. He started to spend his night just crossing things off his list. Once he had erased a good bit of them he decided to take his trance while everyone else was starting to get active.

He continued his day taking care of the usual issues on the ship. He avoided people as he honestly was lost in thought. Knowing that conflict could happen at any time during this trip, he left his mind on edge as a way of preparing for battle. He thought that talking to some of the kids while intentionally leaving himself on edge was not a good idea. Throughout the day, Abaddon had a growing feeling that battle was coming. He didn't know why but he was going to trust his instincts. As night came Abaddon meditated in his room.

Abaddon's instincts seemed to be right as the Xuanzang went into red alert. Abaddon rushed to his room to grab his hammer and swords. The thrill of battle was already pumping through his veins. He knew that he would be able to spill blood today. The previously inorganic black material on Abaddon's body seemed to pulse to life as it moved like black tar on his body. It would spread to the sword where he held it. He kept himself under control, for now, no need to terrify people on your side. He tried to suppress the black ooze but to those of a keen eye, the usual gleam of the material has disappeared as it seems to absorb all light on it.

As Finbarr opened the portal Abaddon started to step forward, "Time to make an entrance." He took a step in and the mass on Abaddon started to whirl around him, making black tendrils around him, making him look like some sort of eldritch horror. Absolute silence in his movement as he launches a sonic slash to whatever was in his view for some odd meters. A face was appearing on his face, one made of black that shaped itself into a wicked smile. Abaddon stood tall in front of his enemies, "Time for a massacre."

@jdh97

Abaddon

Oh, she's crying. Not what I expected but still enjoyable. Abaddon sat the tray down, stowing away a few lemon bars for the nicotine depleted doctor. Abaddon's new teammate didn't inspire him as much as he wanted. Honestly if a few just gave up it would be preferable than keeping the dead weight. Abaddon let out a mental sigh, Is this really what the Ascendency committed war crimes to do? Sure some of them are semi-intelligent but I feel they are no more intelligent than a high ranking officer if even that. They might have skills to boast but they are special for their magic yet some didn't even show it. I have hope for some of them though.

Abaddon saw enough of whatever this could be called and left the room, still wearing his apron. With the short path being chosen, maybe Abaddon can lessen his disappointment in the Star Marines but if he is to listen to his inclinations, he should prepare to dig deeper. As Abaddon continued to make reservations about this mission he arrived at the kitchen to remove his apron and finish cleaning. Soon, he felt someone heading into the kitchen. Abaddon made a hasty exit, not trying to interact with some of the new people as he knew he might be a bit biting to them. He headed to his room, first to grab his digital library, and second to grab the good doctor some "medication". It should be a good time to self medicate.

Without a single shit given, Abaddon opened Millard's door and set down an assortment of drugs, including some more cigarettes for the doctor. "Want to party?", as he started to pull Millard's custom shot glasses out. Abbadon sat the bottle in the center of the table and the Mary Jane to the side. He took out this green needle that seen to have an orange lubricant at the end. It was a Rau've drug that makes biological creatures extremely docile and cooperative. To Abaddon though, it fills him with this unending giddiness, an effect between cannabis and LSD. He also has some more new-age drugs for the experienced.

Iris

Iris may have messed up her introduction but that's okay, she could always make a better 2nd impression. While waiting for Nero to make his introduction, Iris started to go through her candy bag, looking for something to cheer her up. As she was looking for some nice bitter chocolate she suddenly stopped and turned her head to Nero for the very blunt introduction. Nero, thank you for being you. I really appreciate it. Well, now it was time to celebrate with some white chocolate as Iris is convinced she didn't make the worst introduction.

Iris was munching on some chocolate when a smoker came in. Iris just silently watched as he introduced himself as Dr. Millard. She saw the smoking and thought it was kinda normal for rebels to smoke. I wonder if he has weed? Would he give it to me? What is weed? Iris had entered observer mode, just watching everything going on.

As Iris was watching the little conflict between Ariel and Dr. Millard. during this, she had found a chair in the back and just watched from the corner. When the mission came up she just thought the planet's name was a bit lazy but then thought what else would you name it. Heh, Peanuthaven. She was quite amused by the name now. Maybe there is a place called Cornucopia! Apparently, the mission is to pick up an AI called Realist. The cash reward was so large Iris just didn't process it.

Soon the conversation shifted to the route we should take. Iris was out of her comfort zone about this so she just waited for other people to speak up. She was partial to the short path though. Only for the pleasure of seeing pretty planets.

From her corner, Iris watched as another girl entered the conference room. The girl's tattoos and piercings captivated Iris and she started to imagine what kind of tattoos she could have. Maybe like a tree on my ribs? Oh! Maybe me and Samuel can get matching tattoos. I'll have to talk to him about it. Iris pulled out her omnitool and started to look into some earrings as well. Now that I'm out of the military maybe I can wear jewelry more often. Change my hair up. I can finally have my own wardrobe. I'll probably still steal Samuel's clothes.

Iris would only look up to see what the commotion was. Abaddon's lemon bars, Trajen joining in, kitty Finbarr being so adorable, the bubbly Amy doing the super cute things. She came back into focusing on her surroundings when she caught Narvia crying.

Narvia seemed to be having familial memories come up from the lemon bar. It was painful to see her so weak but it's alright to cry every now and then. Iris decided she isn't the one to help at the moment considering she is kinda out of the loop, to be honest. She definitely knows she'll try and hang with Narvia at a later point. We'll do normal girl things. Maybe we can do a sleepover! Oh my god, we need to have a sleepover. We can invite all the girls. I don't think Natasha will come but you always need to offer. Hopefully, Laurey and Amy will come. Iris started to plan a sleepover, it will take time to plan everything but it'll be fun.

As Iris was planning she couldn't help but reflect on why she doesn't miss her parents. She tried to come up with a reason, something they did wrong but she couldn't think of one. She just didn't care. Iris couldn't shake the idea that her apathy towards her parents was some sort of defection in her psyche. To ignore this possibility she went to eat more of her candy and discovered she has consumed every piece..."Oh no" was all she could muster as she peered into the now vacant bag. She looked up to see what Samuel was doing as he was finishing his reasons for the long path. She quickly stuffed the empty bag into a random drawer and then got next to Samuel to say, "I agree with Samuel." She hoped Samuel wouldn't notice it but who knows.
