"I'm awake!" Damian blurted out loudly as he came to. Finding him self face to face with Alexi he smiled. "Hey. Good to see you're still with us." He smirked. "But really Lex, a ghoul? Thought you were better than that." He laughed mocking her earlier slime joke.

"Damn... who could be doing this?" Damian mused to himself when Krystoff told him of the new ghoul. "We're definitely going to have to dig into this some more, right now get Jack patched up. We're running low, but use some Azoth that should fix the worst of it." Azoth was an very powerful healing alchemical substance that was utilized by Slayer's. Each cell was only given rationed amounts by the high order for reasons Damian didn't know but Mathias had said was wise not to question. "I'd rather us run out of the stuff than have these two dying on us tonight."

"Yeesh you're heavier than you look, Lex." He muttered under his breath on the off chance that she could hear him, as he laid her in the back seat of her car. "Now lets hope I don't pass out while I'm driving this thing." The adrenaline had fully left his body and the exhaustion of the fight and his already tired state made a very poor combination. The fact that Alexi was still bleeding out pushed him to sit in the driver's seat and start the thing. Thanks to Krystoff and X's effort the road home was a pretty clear one. Not wasting time he parked the car in the driveway haphazardly and quickly grabbed Alexi from the backseat and ran past Xavier's car and into the house. He made his way to the Infirmary and placed Alexi on one of the beds before rushing to an nearby cabinet and retrieving an IV bag filled with a purple liquid. "About an hour with this, and you'll be in better shape then I am." He laughed and inserted the IV line into her arm. Within a couple seconds of Azoth being pumped into her blood Alexi's faced stopped bleeding and the damaged skin on her face began to repair itself. Satisfied that his sister was no longer on death's door, Damian promptly fell down against the wall in exhaustion.

"The things breed like cockroaches too, meaning there's always an ample supply of 'em. Whoever messed with these ghouls probably took that into account as well." Damian walked over to Alexi and picked her up. "As for whatever had them all congregated here, for now, I saw we leave that to the cleanup crew." He looked down at Alexi's face that started bleeding through her bandage. "Hold on just a little longer Alexi. Y'know I'm never going to let the fact you got taken down by a ghoul go, right?" He chuckled at the last bit. "I'll take her car and get her home. We'll talk about this more there." He said back to others as he carried Alexi out of the warehouse.

Damian prodded at a dead ghoul with his foot before responding to Krystoff. "He didn't say who, but I assumed through the usual channels. You know how thorough he usually is." He flipped the corpse over and looked into the ghouls eyes. "I hate to say this, but I think Izzy's on to something. I don't know about any of you but I've never seen ghouls that fought as hard as these ones did, someone clearly did something to these things and if they're breeding that is not good." He pushed the corpse away with his foot. "That's a worry for another night. Right now I say we get Alexi home, a hospital's just going to ask questions and take longer anyway and let X deal with the Jack situation."

Damian groaned and stabbed an already dying ghoul that laid at his feet. "Let's all just calm down now. We're banged up but we're all still breathing. That's the main thing." Dyrnwyn's flames slowly began to die down as he sheathed the blade. The warehouse was filled with the corpses of ghouls and he thanked all the deites above that cleaning up wasn't in their job description. "Besides right now we have three much bigger problems: We need to get Alexi home, Jack is still missing, and there's still the fact that there weren't supposed to be this many ghouls here. Which means someone fed us bad intel probably to lure us into a trap."

"Shit!" Damian growled as he slashed through another ghoul watching its body erupt into flames before it did before looking back at Krystoff. "Why is that kid always going off by himself?" He muttered in annoyance continuing to hack and slash any ghouls that got close to him, the fire of the blade doing it's best to cover his blindspots. "We don't have much choice we have to worry about getting rid of these things first and getting out alive ourselves before we can going looking for him. He raised the blade over his head swung with a massive amount of force sending a large stream of lames in Dimitri's direction burning through the ghouls he was fighting to provide him some more breathing room. "You think I asked for all these damn things? I wanted to go home and go to bed!" The amusement in his tone was masked heavily by the rage and annoyance he was feeling.

After all the fighting they were doing it looked like they were finally making a dent in the swarm of ghouls. Even moresoo when Izzy slapped a group of ghouls across the room with her bike. Even though he was fighting for his life he couldn't help but smile a bit. Such a move was very much uncharacteristic of her. "Damn...who are you and what have you done with my sister?" He joked before ghoul sunk its teeth into his arm and he yelled out before turning his back at the creature. "You're going to burn for that!" Without even moving the sword the flames shot up and enveloped the ghoul until it was literally nothing but ashes. He shrugged off the wound and went back to tearing apart the ghouls. "Keep it up! We almost got them."

Damian grinned as he put the barrel of his shotgun into the gaping mouth of a charging ghoul and pulled the trigger blowing the top of the creatures jaw halfway across the room. Adrenaline was pumping through his veins like a freight train and the tiredness he felt earlier was nowhere to be found. "Don't fret too much sister dear I'm sure we'll be done before you get here!" He communicated to Izzy through his headset as he revelled in blowing away the ghouls with his guns. The ghouls showed no sign of slowing down despite all the damage they were dealing. He looked in time to see Alexi go down "That is definitely going to cost you." He spat at the ghoul who did it with all the venom in his voice as he drew Dyrnwyn from its sheathe. The sword burst into flames and the fire immediately shot out at all the ghouls in front of them before settling into a ring of fire around David and Alexi "Diimitri, cover me!" He shouted before charging at a group of ghouls with the flaming sword in hand.
