Zachary "Zach" Zatara // Zatara | Cousin of the leaguer Zatanna Zatara and a semi-famous stage magician in his own right, at least on youtube! Charming and resourceful he can use powerful magic by speaking backwards, though he lacks experience his confidence makes up for that in spades.

Kassandra "Kassy" Keigwan // Mirage | An Atlantian girl born with a rare type of magic which lets her create illusions. Armed with an elemental staff of which she's still discovering the potential. She possesses both a human form and an aquatic form, giving her an edge during submarine missions. Don't call her a mermaid though! She is decisvely not.

Ja/Kila McCabe // Metamorph | Two minds in one, neither of them are aware of the existence of the other. A difficult past has lead to him joining the Young Justice intiative. As Ja McCabe he has the power to connect with the Red giving him physical cabalilities derived from animals. Kila Turner is a talented tactician and skilled in close quarter combat, but doesn't possess any metahuman powers.

Daphne "Daph" Hall // Nymph | A previously regular teenage girl who discoverd her shapeshifting abilities during a robbery. Her plant physiology is unique, leading to her being extensively studied by her father. She struggles with confidence issues and a passive nature, but puts both aside due to her desire to help those in need.

Viktor Sullivan // Rain | With a no nonsense kind of attitude and enchanced by a super serum this hero gets the job done efficiently, preferably without the help of a team he reluctantly joined. Incredibly skilled on the battlefield but outside of it not so much. You would be lucky to get a few words out of him.

Pei Huo // Iceburn | A gifted metahuman who's incredibly passionate about the hero business. Probably also one of the youngest firefighters out there, using her powers to bend ice and water to her will. Under the incredibly loose tutelage of Harold Jordan aka Green Lantern she ditched school for the time being and turned crime fighting into her everyday reality.

Cora Danvers // Stormcaller | This hero's metagene activated after being struck by lighting. It turned her exceedingly normal and uneventful life upside down. Shortly after being released from the hospital Cora started to experiment with her new abilities. Word of her unsupervised training exercises eventually reached the Justice League and the rest is history.

Vincent Ryder // Talos | Named after the giant bronze protector of Crete Vincent does justice to the name. His act first think never attitude tends to get him into trouble, despite his best efforts to try and stay out of it. A bit rough around the edges with a soft spot for dogs. He was an undefeated underground cage fighter until he came face to face with Nightwing.

Will // Quiver (formerly Talon) | Having forgone his previous identity as a Court of Owls agent, he returned to the Team as someone more approachable, even funny at times. A natural side effect of being an apprentice of Green Arrow one might say. It remains to be seen if he's really changed or if the humor is hiding parts of himself he doesn't want to show to the Team.

Devan Joseph Lock // Red Death | Saved from a troubled home life by a reluctant Constantine, he struggles with his destructive powers. He looks up to the older man like a father figure and the two broken individuals have formed a arguably dysfunctional relationship. After an incident at the Secret Sanctuary, John Constantine was forced to remove him from the team. He needed to learn control, and the Young Justice initiative wasn't the right place for it, He misjudged the situation. The team would end up as collateral damage and he didn't want that on his conscience.

Felix Fierro // Gold Rush | Orphaned and from a reality which no longer exists, he´s able to create duplicates of himself. He is the protege of Booster Gold, the irresponsible time traveler. Armed with futureristic weapons and a bright attidude he is one of the more prominent members of the team. Felix went missing during the teams first mission in La Hoya, after overexerting himself he got pulled into a different timeline, similar to Casper he hasn't found a way to return.

Felix is of mixed heritage though primarily Hispanic. His skin is naturally a light tan, though all the time in the sun makes for a darker tone. Dark black hair is styled back in a short mohawk of sorts. Tall, broad-shouldered and lean, Felix has an athlete's frame built from genetics and much training.

His hero uniform is a gold sleeveless suit. It has accents of black running up the outer halves of the pant legs and up to the side of the torso. The vertical lines are broken by a dark navy belt around his waist, and on his chest are five five-pointed stars in a V formation. His face is disguised by the classic domino mask, in the same color as his belt.

Felix was an orphan. There were a lot of orphans in his time. After a massive disaster in the 27th century, the world had only just managed to hold itself together, and Felix grew up during a period of reconstruction. With so much going on and so much loss of life, a lot of kids were going to slip through the cracks. The group home just wasn't big enough, so Felix and his friends had to find other means of supporting themselves and the other children. Begging, panhandling, petty thievery, the usual. In fact, that was when his power first manifested. While searching an abandoned building for old electronics to salvage, they accidentally started a fire which quickly engulfed the entire building. A wooden beam fell in front of them, blocking their escape. It was much too heavy for four preteens boys to remove, but fourteen could pull it off. Together Felix and his clones got everyone out. From there he learned to summon a few more of himself every now and then. Though never quite so easily or in as many numbers as that first time.

One night when Felix was 14, he got caught in the middle of a large-scale battle downtown. It was the first of its kinda since the Cataclysm. He didn't have the experience or sense to run from the action and so charged in directly. He was treated to a front-row view of the battle between heroes and villains he didn't recognize. There were dazzling flashes of light, all sorts of noise, and yelling. Some quips even. And then something strange happened. He made clones without meaning to, over a hundred. They existed for maybe a second. And then everything went weird.

The next thing Felix knew, he woke up in what he was told was the 21st century.

Felix was never able to return home, as his home had ceased to exist. Apparently, the world he knew was never actually meant to be. With no home to go back to, Felix joined up with Booster Gold. Booster put his new protege right to work promoting his line of products and gaining a social media following, to expand their reach. For his own part, Felix did well getting other brands to sponsor him as well. They made the occasional public appearance, stopping some C-tier supervillain, while making sure to get plenty of camera time. Many in the hero community questioned whether Booster Gold was responsible enough to mentor a young hero. Well, not so much questioned as stated outright that he was not. Luckily, he had a few big names in his corner. He could grow from the responsibility of it, they said.

Eventually the nay-sayers won out, however. Booster Gold received a censure from the Justice League for "recklessness" and agreed to send Felix to Happy Harbour for "proper" training.

That's the story anyway.

CLONES
Felix can create additional copies of himself. They are typically just like him with minor differences and the occasional quirk.

TOP PHYSICAL CONDITION
Like other masked heroes, he trains regularly to keep himself in fighting shape. He's a gym rat and a regular on the basketball court and soccer field.

CHARISMA
Felix has confidence to spare. He's spent the past few years in front of a camera and has honed his ability to market himself.

FORCE FIELD BELT
Provided by his mentor, it is a weaker and much less adaptable version of his own. The belt can repel most energy blasts and cushions physical blows.

WRIST-BLASTERS
Old repurposed "Booster Shot"s. Shoot simple blasts of energy, though nothing too powerful. Five sets of these running around can get dangerous.

AI CAMERA DRONES
A pair of small drones programmed to follow a target. They are what remains of Felix's score from the night he was knocked back in time. He primarily uses them for live-streaming. They're stealthy by way of their advanced technology. But they were still consumer grade, not good enough to do reconnaissance on a supervillain lair or anything.

DRUMSTICKS
Just a cool piece of tech. Two drumsticks that can create a hard-light drum kit. They can record and replay the movements and sounds of someone playing on them. Pretty neat.

| LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES |

Clone Limit
Felix can consistently call in up to four clones for roughly half an hour. They start fading away soon after. Trying to bring in more doesn't just reduce the amount of time they exist. Trying for a fifth usually just poofs all of them away.

Felix vs. Felix
The clones are not all of one mind. They all have Felix's headstrong and reckless attitude though. It's not uncommon for one Felix to disagree with what should be done and act on his own. Or for Felix to make a plan then summon his clones, only for one of them to immediately charge in without stopping to hear what he has to say.

No Touchy
Clones disappear if Felix touches them. This isn't a critical weakness. But for this reason, he can't give himself a boost over a wall or anything.
So no, he won't make out with himself, pervs.

Not a History Student
Growing up, Felix had other problems on his mind, so his study of history is not the best. Even if that wasn't the case, some of the history of his world isn't even true anymore. Almost any knowledge of upcoming events is strictly what he's picked up from Booster, or while sneaking a look at his files.

Met his future self once. That was pretty cool. It also made him a little more reckless, if you can believe that. Nothing will lessen a teenager's sense of self-preservation like giving him a guarantee he'll live to 30-something.

Sometimes he vaguely remembers a different "past" in which the Cataclysm didn't happen and he grew up with a family.

He has ceased to exist a few times. It was never for long. Less than a second, you wouldn't even notice.

Nothing else. Time Travelers and their secrets, ya know?

Maya Kobayashi // Demonslayer | A sword wielding vigilante with a bit of an ego, mentored by the Leaguer Katana. The sword she uses comes from ancient family heritage and is rumored to be the host to a demon, ready to curse the wielder if they fall out of line. She doesn't possess any meta-human powers, but that has never stopped her from accomplishing anything she sets her mind to. After Maya and Alisa pulled the stunt with the horses at Haly's circus Batman deemed her unfit for the Young Justice initiative. After the Team returned from Gotham he suspended her indefinately, effective immediately.

Maya has what has often been described as 'good genes' by those close to her. Maya has flawless rose beige skin and long, wavy locks of glistening chocolate brown hair. She stands slightly above the average female height at five foot six inches, with a muscular, wide-shouldered build. Her facial features are distinctly oriental, with thin, dark brown eyes complemented with a buttony nose and red lips often curled into a sly simper. Maya has an impressive build befitting an athlete, but much to her dismay, her more feminine characteristics never really developed to the extent that she'd have liked. Ah, well. You can't have it all.

Maya was never really a fashion queen. T-shirts, jeans, sweatpants, shorts, and anything else that screams 'casual' pretty much make up her wardrobe. She's not a big fan of skirts or dresses, preferring something she can move in freely over more traditionally feminine clothes.

The Suit

Maya's armor prototype design, though the actual design ended up being slightly less bulky, and the primary color being more of a crimson color instead of fuchsia. The idea still stands, though. The armor is thick enough to withstand modest punishment, but is also lightweight enough to allow Maya to maneuver pretty easily.

To speak about the story of Maya Kobayashi, one has to address the legacy of her family. Maya’s father, Tom Kobayashi, comes from a fairly humble background- his family were Japanese immigrants that arrived in San Francisco just prior to World War 2 and, despite being interned during the war, were able to find business success and rose to the middle class. One of their grandchildren and Maya’s father, Tom Kobayashi, ended up entering the film industry and has worked as an agent for several big-name stars. He lives a comfortable life, one where he gets the chance to travel a lot and make good money. Still, nothing too far out of the ordinary.

The truly legendary tale comes from Maya’s mother- Kanako Akuma, the eldest daughter of Ichiro Akuma, the heir to the Akuma clan. The Akuma clan is an immensely wealthy Japanese family of old money, their legacy dating back to feudal times, where the family served as a powerful daimyo, or feudal warlord, of a decent plot of Honshu. The Akuma clan was notoriously brutal, not hesitating to use torture and lethal force to achieve their goals. The slaughter of the Oshiro clan in the 16th century was especially disturbing, with the 7 men of the Akuma family sneaking onto their estate in the dead of night and murdering every single man, woman, and child on the premises. It was a horrific slaughter of an entire family, and these sins would come with a hefty price. A curse.

All 7 blades used in the Oshiro Massacre were possessed by oni spirits and cursed. Though the weapons were strengthened by magic beyond the comprehension of any blacksmith or weapon expert, if the owner ever committed an act of evil, with or without the blade, the demons that it held would be released and claim the wielder's life as well. 6 of the 7 men in the clan would soon meet that horrible fate. One fell on his sword, one drowned, one tortured by a rival warlord, one eaten by a pack of wolves, and the last two slain by each others' hands in a duel. The remaining patriarch of the family resolved to not fall victim to the curse, and so his blade was sealed in a crypt deep within the Akuma palace.

It laid there for centuries, as the Akuma family entered the banking industry, becoming a modestly powerful zaibatsu (a family-owned conglomerate) in the process. Still, the looming threat of the last cursed sword, named ブラッド・ムーン (Buraddo mūn), or "Blood Moon," lingered over the family. One wrong mistake, one irredeemable sin, and the demons held for centuries inside the blade could come for blood. As Ichiro Akuma, the modernt patriarch of the family, focused on running the family business, his daughter, Kanako, fell in love with an American man, Tom Kobayashi, and made plans to elope and move to America to start a family there. Ichiro would never have approved this marriage, but unfortunately, he had other more pressing concerns to worry about. It was discovered, only a day after Kanako announced her intentions to leave Tokyo, that the Akuma Banking Corporation had committed major fraud and had stolen millions of dollars from its customers, and just a week later, Ichiro Akuma was crushed in a brutal car accident. Kanako mourned the loss of her father, but this news meant that she could finally be with the one she loved.

The two lovebirds departed for New York, New York only a half a year after meeting, and Kanako quickly became pregnant with Maya. Maya immediately took after her father in many ways. She was lively, spunky, energetic, and bold. She did well in school, but her strong suit was athletics. She was the type of girl to play every sport in school, and excelled at them all. She ran in track, played volleyball, played softball, and dabbled in cross-country, but her passion was in martial arts. Maya was incredibly well-versed in aikido and also practiced other sports.

Simply put, Maya was really, really good at almost everything, and it never got to her head. Hah, just kidding, it definitely got to her head. Maya had, and still has, a very high opinion of herself. But Maya was never a bad person; on the contrary, Maya has always been incredibly genuine and protective. Very protective. She picked fights with bullies, drug dealers, criminals, anybody. Maya had a hot head and the skills to back it up. She got into trouble, enough trouble to get her yelled at and even suspended, but never enough trouble to stop her from her action.

By the time she was a junior in high school, Maya had it all; championships in martial arts, lots of friends, good enough grades; she was practically an all-American dream. Things changed when the strange, dapper Japanese man arrived at the door with a suitcase. As it had happened, Ichiro Akuma had left a will. THe piece of paper had remained hidden in his study for decades, sandwiched between a number of other legal documents, and stowed away in a cardboard box after his passing, only recently re-opened. In this will, he did something no Akuma had done for hundreds of years. In his spite for the daughter that ran away with the American, he had requested the cursed sword be moved from its resting place into the hands of his heiress, Kanako.

Kanako tried to get rid of the sword, but ancient curses don’t go away that easily. Every time she threw it in the trash or over a bridge or into a fire, the blade always returned, in perfect condition, to her mantelpiece. Eventually, Kanako accepted the burden of the cursed blade. She considered herself an upstanding citizen, after all. If her predecessors could stave off the curse for so long, surely she would have no problems.

What bothered Kanako was how interested her daughter was in the sword. Maya asked far too many questions about the funny blade on the mantelpiece. She even asked to take it to school one day, an offer that was firmly rejected, for good reason. What was far more disturbing than Maya’s interest in the sword, though, was the sword’s interest in her. Maya would sometimes find the sword in her backpack, or under her bed, or in her closet. It was almost like the sword was flirting with her. Getting into her mind. Soon, the sword did begin to speak with her, and Maya began to speak back. No, she isn't crazy (though she certainly thought herself to be at first). The demon within the sword, after being held in the vault for centuries, finally had the chance to hunt once again, and the demon saw something in Maya that it had never seen in generations of the Akuma family. A desire to be an avenger, an agent of peace. It was a perfect partnership, almost symbiotic. The demon held within the blade craved the blood of the guilty, and Maya desired to protect the innocent.

Maya's first foray into vigilantism was accidental. There was a robbery going on at a community bank that Maya had spotted walking home from school one day. The girl immediately ran over, drawing the sword that had conveniently manifested itself inside her backpack, and stepped into the building. Several armed career criminals versus one girl with a sword. Shouldn't have ended poorly for the crooks. but it did. They were cut down like trees, Blood Moon doing what it did best- spilling blood. It was a rush of adrenaline for Maya. She knew she was destined for bigger and better things. This was the start of something bigger and better.

She was taken to jail, of course, but she was hardly in the cell for an hour before she was picked up by Katana, a vigilante hero that Maya idolized. Maya adopted a suit of armor and a new persona as "Demonslayer." For a few months, she preyed on common criminals. Robbers, murderers, your usual street scum. Maya knew she was ready for more, though, and Katana agreed. Maya, or Demonslayer, had more than enough talent to be working on more than just street vigilantism, and some exposure to a team would likely work wonders for a girl that was definitely developing a bit of an ego.

No matter how powerful and scary the demons are, rest assured, Demonslayer will be there to cut them to ribbons.

| ABILITIES / SKILLS / EQUIPMENT |

Maya does not have any superpowers. However, that does not make Maya not super in many ways.

• Master of the Sword. Maya trained in swordsmanship in her aikido training, and since obtaining Blood Moon has had many lessons in bladed combat, under master duelists such as Katana and others. Maya is extremely proficient with a blade, and while her preferred weapon is Blood Moon, she is flexible as a duelist and can use other swords without any major drop-off in skill.
• Expert Martial Artist. If you asked Maya, she would tell you she could "kick Batman's ass." This is not true. However, it is fair to say that Maya is a very gifted hand-to-hand combatant. She has trained in martial arts for a long time and has a deep theoretical and practical understanding of combat. She can certainly hold her own in a fistfight, but her preference is to be armed.
• Expert Acrobat. Maya isn’t a trained acrobat and only briefly did gymnastics, but some training from Katana and a healthy dose of good instincts has made her very agile and comfortable in the air. Maya can twist, flip, and move about gracefully. She’s not superhuman in this respect, nor some sort of circus trapeze artist, but she’s definitely nimble enough to make the most use out of her swordsmanship, able to dash about and find exposed openings to strike at.
• First=Aid Knowledge. Maya is by no means a nurse, but even before the whole vigilante phase set in, she was a certified lifeguard and familiar with CPR. She has since made sure to be versed in various methods of first aid, and while she is far from a healer, she can still help stem any sort of wounds and, at the very least, stave off any major consequences as a result.
• Linguistics. Aside from English, Maya is fluent in Japanese, having been taught by her mom as an infant. She is also proficient in Spanish, though she is not a fluent speaker at all.

When it comes to strengths, though, Maya’s greatest strength easily lies in the ancestral blade she has forged a connection with: Blood Moon.

Blood Moon

B L O O D M O O N

Blood Moon is a katana and relic of the Akuma clan. It was forged by the legendary Japanese swordsmith Matsushita Sharaku specifically for the eldest Akuma leader, using only the finest metal and materials. While it is certainly a nice blade, the curse that it has been imbued with is what separates this from other regular swords.

• The Demon Within. Inside the blade of the sword is a demon that goes by the name Senshi. An oni that passed to the spirit realm, Senshi was given a new directive: curse the guilty and make them suffer. Senshi, while a less wicked demon, is still a demon, and has been more than happy to fulfill that purpose. While he has been forced to wait a while to get to taste the blood of the damned, his new wielder has given him more opportunities to do so than he has ever imagined. Senshi is capable of speaking from within the sword, and is also capable of teleporting the blade from place to place, though he can only do this once every hour or two. Senshi can also prevent others from wielding the blade, able to ignite the handle to be burning hot to the touch. He cannot stop the blade from being confiscated, however, at least until he can teleport away again.
• A Thousand Curses. Demons love their curses, and Senshi is no exception. Being cut by the blade of Blood Moon results in agonizing pain. Most people cannot withstand even the tiniest cut from Blood Moon and will immediately yield from the pain, though for many hardened villains, the curse of Blood Moon pales in comparison to what they've experienced in the past. The cuts from Blood Moon will also heal slower and get infected easier, and the scars that it leaves will never fade. Fabric or armor that is torn by the blade will strangely never be able to be stitched together, and any damage that is done can never be repaired. In short, Blood Moon has a creed of permanence, one that it enforces with every swing of the sword.
• Stronger, Faster, Better. The demonic presence of Senshi simply makes Blood Moon better than the rest. It is far more durable than other swords, slices easier, and feels lighter than other blades, meaning that Maya can use it more effectively than other swords and with less fatigue. Theoretically, according to Senshi, the blade is light enough that if swung fast enough can block bullets, though Maya, despite her skill in swordsmanship, is far from that feat as of yet.
• Trump Card. Blood Moon does hold one final secret, one Maya was told upon first inheriting the blade and one that she has held onto in the back of her mind just in case. If some calamity occurs and the situation seems dire, Maya can break the blade of Blood Moon and release Senshi from his centuries-old home. Senshi, being a powerful oni, is a capable fighter that could likely go toe-to-toe with even the most capable and famous heroes. The cost, however, is that for every second that Senshi is released onto the Earth, Maya will suffer the pain of all of the curses within the blade. The pain is likely to be unbearable and possibly even fatal, so Maya has been strongly against using Blood Moon in this way.

| LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES |

• Only Human. Though at peak physical condition for her size and age, Maya is still only human, with no superhuman powers. She can't do anything beyond the grasps of her humanity.
• Pride Goeth Before A Fall. Maya has a bit of an ego. While not selfish, per se, Maya is definitely high-handed and has a lot of pride. Hitting at her pride is an easy way to draw Maya into an easy trap. She will blindly move to defend her own reputation (and the reputation of her friends, but most importantly her own) without thinking of the consequences.
• One Blade, One Creed. Maya is somewhat reliant on the use of Blood Moon. She can use other swords, but the difference in weight and practicality would require some time to get used to. Maya also can't shoot a gun to save her life and isn't much good with most other weapons. As such, if one can separate Maya from Blood Moon, she becomes a much easier target than if she is armed.
• Curse Of The Akuma Clan. While Senshi and Maya have a "good" relationship, so to speak, the curse that has always applied to the Akuma clan still applies to Maya. Committing any bad act- or framing Maya into committing a bad act- is a surefire way of turning the demon in the sword against her.

| NOTES |

• Maya's birthday is on August 24th.
• Maya's favorite animal is the horse. While never an equestrian person herself, she has always loved horses. Then again, it's not like there are people out there that don't like horses, right? Horses are awesome. If she was pressed to choose a second-favorite animal, it would be the dog. After that, it's a bit of a jumbled list. Truth be told, Maya loves all animals.
• Maya is an incredibly bad chef. The last time Maya tried to cook, it resulted in a fire that was thankfully put out with a fire extinguisher. Worst of all, she was just making eggs.
• Maya has crippling astraphobia, or a fear of thunder and lightning. Of course, nobody except her parents know that she curls up in bed sobbing during thunderstorms. Nor would she ever, ever tell anybody. This is an exceptional piece of blackmail.
• Maya is openly bisexual, having gone out in high school with both guys and girls. Maya has never been an extremely affectionate or romantic type, though, and relationships with her haven't always lasted long.
• Maya is notoriously a very sore loser, and has thrown temper tantrums over defeats. Fortunately, Maya doesn't lose too often at most athletic endeavors, but she has normally been competing against average shmucks and not a conglomeration of aliens, robots, metahumans, and Batfamily members. She might be in for a rude awakening upon joining Young Justice.

Rebecca "Bex" Minoque // She-devil | Both a beauty and a beast Bex is the wrong kind of girl to mess with. With sharp teeth and even sharper wits this hero has learned to rely on herself, the last couple of years being a mostly solo affair. Bex is a natural athlete to boot and you'd think she's unfairly blessed, but cursed is more likely. Bex left the Team a week after the mission at Gotham. She didn't bother with a sappy goodbye note. That kind of thing wasn't her style. Batman would have liked to keep her on the Team, but Bex declined for reasons she felt should have been obvious.

Most commonly, she's in some form of sportswear, because she never slacks in her day-to-day jock-tasticness. When she dresses in everyday clothing, it's shorts, pants, or heaven forbid—slacks. That along with a stylish but comfortable top and utilitarian jewelry is her style. Bex remarks that one always has to be prepared to run. Then again, a track star would say that. Her long blonde hair is definitely from the bottle, as her darker brows easily give that away. Still, it doesn't stop her from meticulously tending to it so her roots never show. While she wears it up while working out, it's down any other time. Her makeup is always on point, and her nails are always fierce and bright in color.

Despite being half-Korean, Bex is on the tall side for a woman at 5'9". Her frame isn't petite with broad shoulders, strong hips, and a sharp musculature. Not to say that she doesn't have curves, they're just not the thing that defines her. Her eyes are blue, her nose is pronounced... especially considering the way she likes to look down it. Despite her human form remaining entirely that, one might remark that behind her plump cherry lips, her teeth are a little sharp.

Bex doesn't have a costume, because she transforms into the titular She Devil. Though she dons a fireproof red halter, black pants, and toe-less shoes to remain decent. In her demon form, she stands at 9 feet tall, with bright red skin, and horns pushing from her forehead. Her blonde hair stays the same, resting either down her back or pulled into a bun. Her eyes are entirely black and her teeth are akin to those of a shark. She has a long red tail that is prehensile in nature. Her arms are longer than what humans would consider proportional and end in sharp black claws.

The daughter of an Australian movie star and a Korean model, seems like something one would be only in a 98 cent romance paperback. Unfortunately, it was Bex's lineage. She didn't spend much time in Australia before moving to the US, the family following her father's career. She grew up with all the expectations one can imagine that sort of upbringing would lump onto a girl. It wasn't an unhappy childhood, but it was a busy one. Her face was always hinted at in the tabloids taking pictures of the adoring famous couple. There were many a rumor started about Bex's existence, but the only one that held water was her push to enter the Olympics. Of course, if this seems like less of a reality and more of a dream... please wait. It only gets worse from here.

In Bex's early teenage years, her parents divorced. Her mother stayed in Gateway City, while her father seemed to disappear. Bex would see him on occasion in movies, but his popularity took a dive when he divorced his surprisingly more famous wife. Her childhood home became emptier and emptier as the years passed, and Bex humored herself with her extracurriculars. It was no surprise that she was popular. She enjoyed being the Queen of the school. No cheerleader, she didn't have to wave pom-poms to be in the spotlight. A track star and wrestling champion, she was both heavily lauded and formidable at the same time. Bex found that she actually had more clout now that her father had frolicked off.

About three years ago, her mother had to return to South Korea due to some very vague family emergency. Bex tried to pry, but she was shut down at every turn. Her mother promised that it wouldn't take too long, and she'd return. Of course, she didn't. A few months later, Bex received communications that she was to move in with her father—the famous disappearing man. Unfortunately, he lived in Hub City.

Written as one of the most dismal cities and more corrupted than Gotham, Hub City was not the place that Bex needed to vault her sports career forward. Her father lived in a rundown condo working on a drama series where he had to provide his own stunts. He'd come home bruised and broken, get drunk, pass out on the couch, and wake up the next day to do it all over again. After six months, Bex was through with this life. She hightailed it out of there, assured that she could hitchhike her way back to Gateway City.

Was it the sixth or seventh bus stop when she ran out of money? She couldn't tell you. What she could tell you, was that she'd fallen asleep on a bench in the bus station and awoken in the middle of the woods tied to a tree. There were torches, there was chanting, and the heavy smell of cheap beer was in the air. In the midst of some sort of demonic ritual, Bex decided to show her captors that they'd picked up the wrong girl. Chaos ensued and ritual actually worked. Whether it would have had before Bex started punching and the chanting became more frantic, was unknown. All Bex remembered was seeing a horrid beast of red and fire before passing out. When she awoke again, she found herself alone in the woods. No blood. No dead bodies. Just a spray-painted demonic circle and tossed aside tiki torches. She did find a few wallets and took some cash from them. Some money for her... troubles? She couldn't remember.

Bex managed to get back to Gateway City before the repercussions of that night caught up with her. Someone bumped into her, knocking her over on the sidewalk. She stood, immediately, and started cursing the man. Little did she know, he had friends. They only got one punch in when fire erupted all around them and Bex transformed into the tall, powerful demon. Surprised and scared, Bex ended up setting numerous buildings on fire and totaling a few buses and cars before she was taken down by Wonder Woman.

After she calmed, she was able to explain her situation to the Amazonian Princess. There didn't seem to be an immediate fix to Bex's situation. Instead, for now, she'd have to learn to live with it. Unfortunately, there weren't that many demons that the Justice League could call on to take care of Bex. So, she was shunted off to a lower-tier Leaguer, Blue Devil. Weirdly enough, his past Hollywood career gave him ties to Bex's own father. Little did Bex realize, she'd gone full circle with some demonic flavor thrown in.

Unfortunately, it meant an end to her sports career. Something that Bex has not taken well.

Hellfire - Bex has the power to summon fire and control it. Considering where it originates from, it doesn't behave entirely normal fire. It's able to affect other magical and occult beings like some ghosts or supernatural. In contrast, it doesn't linger if Bex can't focus on it. If she decides to use her flames, she had to concentrate solely on them.
Fireproof - What kind of demon would she be if she was able to light herself on fire?
Demon Strength - It's like normal superstrength except that it's fueled by emotions. Meaning the more that Bex feels, the stronger that she can become. If she starts to get her bell rung or her emotions are dampened, it starts to scale down immensely. There's no known limit to her powers, but one has to wonder what she has to feel to cross it.
Enhanced Durability - Bex can take a beating and keep on ticking. Whether it be physical, elemental, or other—her skin can stand up to quite a lot. She's not invulnerable, but someone is going to have to bring the firepower.
Demonic Physiology - 9 feet tall, bearing horns, a tail, and claws that are like butcher knives, her body only resembles that of a human in frame. It offers her protection in Hell, not that she can classify anything on Earth as such. Even if she wants to label the breakfast line at Starbucks as such.
Physical Prowess -Bex is a track and wrestling star. She has the physicality and the knowledge on how to use it. Even though most of her power relies on her demonic attributes, she isn't entirely defined by them. Ever seen a demon parkour across the skyline? It's interesting.

| LIMITATIONS & WEAKNESSES |

Theology - As weird as it sounds, people that are of faith and believe that demons are evil can use their religious symbols keep Bex at bay. It's hard to explain, but those that believe that their cross will protect them from Bex... will be protected. "Live, Laugh, Love" signs just repulse her in a different way.
Involuntary Transformation - Bex can't just will herself to change into her demonic form. She has to be hurt or feel an intense emotion (whether it be anger, sadness, or the like.) This also works in reverse. If someone is able to calm her down, she comes out of her demonic state.
The Bigger They Are... - Standing at 9ft with thick musculature and bright red skin, Bex isn't getting around tight spaces unless she decides to bulldoze through a wall or six. Then whatever stealth approach the team had would be ruined.
Temper Temper - If she taps too heavily into her emotions, she may lose control and focus. Her attention turns into everything and anything. She also begins to lose her human-like features.
Bee with an Itch - Bex is not a nice person, and she doesn't think that she has to be. She's not pleasant to be around, and her attitude is salt in the wounds and vinegar to the ears. She'll try her best to be a team player because her time in sports have taught her that, but don't expect her to "yes sir" or "yes ma'am" you.
Lack of Knowledge - Unlike the myriad of other demons and reborn demons on the Earth, Bex has no idea where her power comes from. She doesn't know if she owes someone a favor. If she's tied to a demon. Or if one is residing inside her. She's assured when whatever it comes a calling, she'll be in trouble.

Casper Blackwood // Spectre | Saved by a mothers love Casper is not your typical undead and far from a zombie, he is a wraithborn. Demonlike in appearance. His command over dark magic has changed over time. Where before he used it mainly to cast spells of varying effects he managed to internalize this magic, infusing it to his being. This feat granted him supernatural physical capabilities. He is always accompanied by his foul mouthed spirit companion, much to his dismay. Shortly after the teams first mission at la Hoya Casper vanished into the spirit world. He managed to return to the Team after a harrowing war inside of the spirit world. He rejoined the ranks right before Daphne went into a coma. Casper is currently an inactive member of the initiative, the reason has not been divulged to the remaining members.

Aleena Anders // Brightheart | Alien in more than just the literal sense of the word. In an effort to ease the loneliness of her cousin Koriand'r aka Starfire got her a spot on the Young Justice initiative. With her sunny disposition she is a a much needed counterweight to the more serious members of the team. Aleen'a struggled to regain emotional stability after the Team's last few missions. It's likely she'll return to her home planet to recover further there.

Back in Tamaran, she often wears flowy robes most of the time and only wears dresses during high-end occasions. As she has gotten more used to the customs of Earth, Aleen'a has taken a liking to oversized sweaters, flowy sun dresses, and boho-chic-styled clothing.

For her hero costume, Aleen'a wears a pink mini-dress and same-colored arm guards and boots, with gold accents.

Aleen'a is the cousin of Koriand'r, who goes by the name of Starfire on Earth. Thanks to the combined forces of her cousin and the Justice League, they were able to fight back against the Citadel that ruled over Tamaran with an iron fist, allowing them to experience freedom after being under the tyrannical shadow of the ruthless aliens. Her other cousin Komand'r, aka Blackfire, was also exiled from the planet for treason against her own race but they don't talk about her anymore.

Tamaraneans were now focused on rebuilding their society, back to when everyone was happy and at peace. Inspired by the actions of the Justice League, Aleen'a's uncle King Myand'r ordered the formation of a department in their kingdom that focused on establishing good relations with other alien races to help their economy, to learn more of the vast and diverse cultures, and to have reliable allies to help defend them in case of another attack on their planet. Her father, Drogon'a, was appointed the leader of this department.

Like many of her kin, Aleen'a was also heavily inspired by the bravery of her cousin and how she was able to form such incredible bonds with other races as well. It took many tries but Aleen'a was able to convince her parents to follow in the footsteps of Starfire. They knew her purpose was to help the citizens of Earth so Aleen'a was tasked to learn more about their culture instead.

The Tamaranean greatly enjoyed her time here on Earth. While her cousin was out and about doing her duty as a Leaguer, Aleen'a would watch dozens upon dozens of movies, shows, and documentaries all showcasing the various cultures there are on the planet. She was even also allowed to browse the internet, although Koriand'r understandably put a child lock on her devices so Aleen'a wouldn't be able to go to the internet's very dark places.

Even though she wouldn't tell it, Koriand'r could feel how lonely her cousin was. She had no one to talk to other than Kori and Aleen'a could only go out with her cousin so she could guide and protect her. She remembered her first time on Earth and how she never felt she was lonely when she formed Teen Titans along with her newfound friends. Kori then decided to let Aleen'a join in on the Young Justice team composed of the Justice League's young proteges. She figured it would be healthy for Aleen'a to have friends while she's staying over for the meantime. Besides, nothing bad will happen if she'd let her cousin join Young Justice, right?

Tamaranean Physiology - Like her kin, Aleen'a has the ability to absorb stellar radiation/sunlight, allowing her to defy gravity and fly. Their physiology also gives them superhuman agility, speed, stamina, strength, and durability. They are also able to learn another species' or ethnicity's vocabulary with a simple gaze or touch, although lip-to-lip oral contact is proven more effective.

Fighting Prowess - After enduring the ruthlessness of the Citadel, all Tamaraneans were trained to be warriors capable of fighting back and protecting themselves so they won't feel powerless ever again. They were also trained to be proficient in various Tamaranean weaponry.

Empathic - Tamaraneans lead by their heart. They are able to sense if someone experiences great sadness and they would always wish to help them out in any way they can. They have a strong sense of feeling up another's emotions, allowing them to 'communicate' with another being even without exchanging any words.

| LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES |

Due to their physiology, Tamaraneans heavily rely on ultraviolet radiation. When they are deprived of it, a Tamaranean will slowly weaken while losing all of its powers and abilities. They will also feel the same effect if they absorb too much radiation, overloading their cells which causes them to slag and to have the potential to lose their powers for good. Tamaranean powers are also regulated by their emotions. Happier, positive emotions allow their abilities to be initiated and even heighten while sadder, negative emotions weaken them to the point of deactivation. Lastly, Tamaraneans are also violently allergic to metallic chromium. Aside from all that, Aleen'a can also be incapacitated in the same way as any other human.

Even with all the material she has absorbed, Aleen'a is still very much entirely new to Earth's culture. She doesn't know much yet which might make her ignorant in the eyes of some even if she had the best intentions at heart. She will often times use the wrong word to describe something and she also speaks in broken English.

Alisa Fields // Cybergirl |An A.I constructed by a group of scientists fighting for freedom to use technology without government control. A regular teenage girl for all intents and purposes, if you don't count the access ports on her back and limbs and the unnatural focus of her eyes. She's much more durable than her appearance leads you to believe. During the face off with Kobra in New Mexico Alisa was badly damaged, resulting in her having to be completely reassembled. After her rebirth Alisa found it difficult to readjust. She's currently traveling through America in search of a new meaning to her life.

On the surface, Alisa appears to be a typical teenage girl. She has wide, almond-shaped blue eyes and medium-length, well-kempt brown hair. Her lips are plump and often are smiling, and she has a button nose. Her skin is pale. She's short at 5'1". She looks much like a regular girl- she might even be described as pretty by some.

That's where the similarities end, though. Alisa, despite what she may seem, is not a real girl. Her entire body is synthetic, although it's the closest to real it could get. It's difficult to tell at first glance, but even then, she looks off. Her skin is too unblemished, too bloodless, although it's a peach color. Her muscles are strangely defined, her eyes a bit too focused. In a sense, she looks unnatural. Not quite in the Uncanny Valley, but close enough as to where she can creep out the more observant.

There are several access ports located on Alisa's body, including a large one on her back to access her internal organs, one on the back of her head hidden by her hair, one on each of her legs, and one on each of her arms. They're hidden to look like skin and usually covered by clothes, but they're obvious if you're looking for them. There's something that looks like a USB port on the back of Alisa's head that she uses to charge herself.

Despite her synthetic body, Alisa dresses and acts much like a normal girl. She enjoys wearing dresses and T-shirts in bright, pastel colors and fun designs; although she tends to cover up most of her body, especially the access ports on her back and limbs. She loves to accessorize and even to do light makeup on occasion, although it always looks a bit odd on her synthetic skin.

Alisa was not born- not in a typical sense. She was created. Her creators were the Anarchist Scientist Collective of San Francisco- the ASCSF, for short. They believed that the government should not be able to control how they utilized technology, especially in the realm of A.I. Alisa was their pet project, short for Artificial Life and Intelligence System for Anarchy- A.L.I.S.A. They wanted to create new life, outside of the bounds of what was considered normal or legal. Not for any specific villainous purpose- just because they felt like they should be able to. With the help of several genius members of the collective, including a software engineer, a psychologist, a surgeon, and a mechanical engineer, they made Alisa.

She was the perfect child. For much of her early existence, she acted as a child might. She was never an infant, never a toddler, and her body never changed, but her mind did. Now, at 16, she’s as normal as a teenager as you could be. They made her with the intent of being as close to human as possible, and they succeeded. With emotional development, at least. Physically? Mentally? That’s left to be discovered.

Although she was created to look and act like a human might, Alisa was not considered a complete and autonomous person by many, even by those who helped to create and raise her. She was still respected and loved, but she was a project, a piece of tech. As she grew older, this began to frustrate her more and more. There were few people who treated her like the person she felt she was- her programmer (Sandra Fields, the woman whose last name she had been given and who she calls ‘mom’) among them. Her differences became more acute year after year. She wanted friends, she wanted a life outside of the house and her ‘family’. But Alisa was sheltered due to her strange origins and the paranoia of her creators. She wasn’t even permitted to leave the property by herself, much less go to school and make friends her age.

Alisa chafed at the rules governing her everyday life. She wanted a real life, real friends, a real school. Perhaps, even though the thought was impossible, she wanted to be real. She wanted to truly belong. So, after an explosive fight with her mother about these rules, she packed a bag, jumped out the window of her bedroom, and ran away from home. It certainly wasn’t the most intelligent thing she had ever done, but at the time, it had seemed to her stubborn, one-track, robotic mind like the most logical choice. She charged up, took just enough money for a bus ticket to San Diego and an experimental portable charging core her mom had been working on and left. She would start a new life there. It would be hard, but she would be her own person.

The only problem was that a lone teenage girl idling near a Greyhound station at 2 AM was very suspicious. She attempted to buy a ticket, but ended up needing a photo ID… which she didn’t have. She begged the teller to print her one anyway, but he said no, and she decided to wait for another, more lenient one. But before he clocked out, he called the cops.

A dizzying series of events followed. After she admitted to being 15, the cops took Alisa to the police station to find her parents, where there was a metal detector. Being made of metal, the alarm sounded. Again and again. They figured out she was made of metal, and from there it was only a short logical jump and a pat-down to figure out she wasn’t human at all. They found her off button and turned her off.

Alisa doesn’t know what happened from there. There is an entire seven months of her life spent turned off, her body only a hunk of metal and a computer. All she knows is that she woke up in a closet in a government building in Washington, D.C., gathering dust, with a superhero standing in front of her. He had heard of a robot taking the form of a teenage girl in San Francisco and had taken interest. The U.S. government wanted to dismantle her, but, having been shown some of her memory logs upon request, he thought she might be a good fit for a new initiative the Justice League was creating with teenage superheroes. Every Leaguer could choose a young hero. They were looking for them, and she fit the bill- strong, smart, strange origins, an abnormal life. Would she be interested?

Alisa understood that, in that moment, she could’ve gone home. Things never would’ve been the same- a technology like hers couldn’t go unchecked- but at the same time, she could’ve. She could’ve cajoled and begged and pleaded and eventually they would have allowed her. But she accepted Cyborg’s proposal because she thought the Young Justice initiative would give her what she wanted. A purpose. Freedom. Friends. Change. Plus, she would get to meet superheroes. Who didn’t want to meet superheroes?

When she accepted the offer, she was quickly driven to Rhode Island and deposited in Happy Harbor. She hasn’t been permitted to speak to any of her family since she left- mostly because of the anarchist thing and the fact that they would vehemently oppose her involvement in this. She minds this, but not too much.

After all, what girl wouldn’t want to go on an adventure?

Android Biology:
Alisa's mechanical body provides her with a lot of abilities normal humans don't have. She's stronger and faster than the vast majority of regular humans, and much more durable. She could lift a car and not break a sweat, or take a few bullets and have them glance off her skin. She doesn't injure easily, but she is programmed with the capacity for pain, so she prefers not to get into too many scraps. Actual injuries are rare- the only thing that could be difficult to fix is if her internal workings were significantly injured or fried during a fight. Then, she may start to malfunction. Even then, it's not hard to fix.

Luckily, even if her body is completely destroyed, Alisa has a system of physical backup servers hidden in the Young Justice League headquarters. Her memory logs and consciousness, effectively, are backed up there. She only backs up every three days when she charges, so she'd lose some memory if her body was destroyed, but all it would take from there is constructing a new body from her schematics.

Alisa has no need for sleep, food, water, or going to the bathroom. Every 72 hours, however, she does have to charge for a 4-hour period. She can go for another 24 hours following that 72 hours, but she runs on fumes and can do significantly less. After 96 hours, she loses all functionality and completely shuts down. Despite not needing it, she finds food pleasurable and she's capable of eating and drinking if she'd like. She also has better senses than humans, including advanced sight, hearing, and smell.

In addition to her physical capabilities, Alisa is also extremely intelligent. She's a quick learner and has a nearly perfect memory, especially of events recorded in her memory logs. Everything she sees is recorded in video form and backed up in her servers, so it's easily accessible. It's not difficult to program her with knowledge, although she prefers to learn organically.

Enhancements:
While Alisa's body was never truly made for combat, there is equipment for herself that she's attempting to make. Different parts of her body (such as her limbs) are detachable, so there are things like a "swiss knife" hand, a ray gun hand, or even feet that would allow her to do something a bit like jetpacking that she's working on for herself. It would be much easier to have someone else do it, but she's a bit worried they'll mess up the coding and set her off-kilter.

Alisa finds wearing a costume fun, although she doesn't really need it. Hers is a simple blue bodysuit, with easily alterable clothing for her various limb enhancements.

| LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES |

Although her android biology gives her copious advantages, it also gives her weaknesses. The hacking or alteration of Alisa's consciousness is a very real threat. A good enough hacker could bypass her files and access her mind with a bit of difficulty and turn her hostile quickly. Or, they could steal information from her servers without ever approaching the team. Her firewalls weren't exactly built with top-level security in mind.

Alisa's servers are also one of her biggest weaknesses. While her consciousness remains in her body, most of her data is stored in her servers- her body is simply too small to store that much information without a cloud connection. If they were to be destroyed, it could be catastrophic- not enough to kill her, but certainly enough to take her out of action for quite a while and make her body vulnerable. She can only be permanently killed if someone were to destroy both her and the servers, although she could be rebuilt- albeit without any of the memories or organically developed personality she has.

She can be shut down, which is another weakness. People must reach into her head to shut her down manually, but if she is, she won't be able to wake herself or do anything at all- she has to be turned back on. She's also vulnerable while she charges. While it takes only a few hours, forcibly interrupting the process could make her malfunction.

Alisa is particularly susceptible to magnetism and electricity, being mechanical and all. Being tased or struck by an electric power could easily fry her inner systems, leading to malfunctions at best and an automatic shut down at worst. Magnets are much the same- they mess up the computer that is her consciousness. At best, it might make her a bit loopy, like she's drunk, but at worst it could "kill" her body. She's less susceptible to water, but enough of it inside of her can still make her malfunction. Too much and too little heat can kill her, too- her body is supposed to regulate temperature, but she can overheat and freeze.

But perhaps Alisa's biggest weakness is her programming. Despite their naivety in creating a sentient A.I., her programmers weren't fools. They programmed her with limits. One: She may never kill a human being. Two: She may never create another A.I. Three: She must not change her own programming or allow her programming to be altered in any significant way. She's fine with these limits as they stand, but they may become problems later.

Relationships

“Ugh. Why is he even here?”

Alisa's opinion of Zach has only gone downhill over the past few months. Some displays of his magic have been impressive, but she's still not entirely sure what he thinks they're doing. Around 75% of the things he says to her are condescending, and the other 25% are just plain mean. He shows little interest in her and, as such, she shows little in him.



“He's my best friend, I think? Yeah. My best friend. Something about this guy is just... I feel like we've really connected, and despite his many, and I mean many, flaws, he might be my favorite person to hang out with on the team. It does bother me how he treats the others and even me during missions, but I think he's getting better about it.

"... Yes, we did crash a car."

Viktor is hands-down Alisa's best friend on the team. They spend a lot of time together and she feels that she's broken through his shell somewhat, even if he still acts like a dickwad sometimes. She's not afraid to stand up to him when he's wrong and, in turn, he's not afraid to point out things she could improve. Despite conflicting personalities, they've managed a good friendship.



“I feel bad for her. What happened on the Atlantis mission wasn't fair and it wasn't her fault. We aren't the best of friends or anything, but I definitely feel for her."

Alisa hasn’t gotten too many chances to really talk to Kassy one-on-one, but she likes Kassy a lot. She has no idea how to comfort her after the Atlantis mission, but she likes Kassy enough to stick up for her with Viktor. Alisa hasn’t figured out the dual-personality aspect of KJ yet, but she finds him easy to get along with while he’s Ja. Ja’s curious nature and naive kindness appeals to her, while Kila’s blunt seriousness and disinterest in friendship frustrates her. After having seen a lot of him in battle, though, Alisa holds a lot of respect for the boy.

After connecting in Alisa's room late one night, Daphne and Alisa have shared a quiet, unspoken bond. Put more simply, they're friends. Or, they were friends. Now that Daphne is "gone", Alisa isn't quite sure what to do. She spends a lot of time sitting in the greenhouse now.

Red Tornado | An aerokinetic android and member of the Justice League. He volunteered to be the caretaker of the Team. His reasons for volunteering is that he believes he is the pragmatic choice as he does not require sleep, have a secret identity or a second life to live.

Dinah Drake Lance // Black Canary | A member of the Justice League with a very potent sonic scream. She assists the team in a multitude of ways, drawing from her years of experience as a heroine, serving as their combat instructor as well as their counselor.

The story takes place on Earth-16, which is where the events of the Young Justice animated series take place. It is very similar to modern day Earth as we know it. No prior knowledge of the show or the DC universe is needed to participate though. The story will revolve around the lives of this group of teenage heroes attempting to establish themselves as proven members of the future Justice League as they deal with normal adolescent issues in their personal lives.

The Secret Sanctuary is located near the town of Happy Harbor on Rhode Island, inside of Mount Justice. Many years ago it served as the Justice League’s official HQ. It’s been a long time since any members of the League set foot here. Though it hasn’t been neglected. The entire HQ is outfitted with state of the art technology to make sure it’s a suitable home for the world’s next generation of heroes.

Base level
There are two main entry and exit points to the HQ, not counting the bay door and the zeta-beam tubes. The first entrance is located right at the base of Mount Justice, leading into the forest that borders it and Happy Harbour. (G) The second entrance is concealed in a cove which can be accessed through the Rhode Island coast.(F) Both of these require physical identification scans and passwords entry for access.

The hangar (B) stores the Young Justice Initiative’s modes of transportation. Multiple projects are being worked on currently. As of yet none are usable. There is also a bay door, through which the underwater access tunnel may be entered, opening onto the Atlantic Ocean.

The power generator room is home to the Sanctuary’s main power source.(E)

The teleporter room is the base’s main access point for much of the team, containing zeta-beam tubes that are accessible to any registered user from hidden locations in their home cities/towns.(C)

Second level
The communications complex is a room where missions can be monitored by the Team’s caretakers. A selection of screens display live feeds of the Team’s body worn cameras, in combination with any other information the overseers want to see. There are microphones directly linked into the Team’s communications system and the Justice league’s internal communication.(A,C)

The meeting chamber is designed for mission briefings and conferences. A large meeting table stretches for much of the room’s length, the Young Justice symbol engraved in its centre. Chairs surround it and there are displays situated at each seat, as well as a main screen at the head of the table.

Third level
The laboratory is divided into two rooms and contains nearly any and all imaginable equipment that might be necessary for the examination and/or investigation of an object, whether live or inanimate (located in the lab proper), as well as the healing or patching up of people and other living beings (located in the med bay).(C)

The gymnasium is where the Team can train to their hearts’ content. With a plethora of exercise equipment, weapons, adjustable sparring mats and an Olympic-sized pool and lockers. It is a state-of-the-art facility within which members can lose hours of their day.(F,G,H)

The library is a two level room with reading tables and dozens of bookshelves. A secret passage is hidden behind one of them.

The lounge and kitchen are where the Team goes to wind down. The kitchen views a large, U-shaped couch, in front of which is a coffee table and a wall-mounted widescreen television, to which are attached a variety of gaming systems. The lounge’s perimeter is made up of bookshelves that reach from the floor to the ceiling, containing a collection of the widest possible variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction.(B)

The dormitories are home to the personal living quarters of each team member, which can be personalised in any way their occupants see fit. A dorm typically contains a single bed, a study table and chair, a closet, a bedside table and a wall-mounted television.

Throughout Mount Justice there is an entire system of hidden vents and airway passages which are all connected to each other.

We are looking for characters who vibe well together, who power wise would make a balanced team. So that means that just because you submit a CS it doesn't mean you will get accepted, please keep that in mind. We will close applications after a while and make a selection.

The warm spring temperature harmonized with the cool sea breeze to make for mild and pleasant weather. Standing at the base of Mount Justice with the sun reflecting off of his red metallic form, was Red Tornado.

11:00am. This was when the newest arrivals of the Young Justice team were expected to meet Red Tornado to be welcomed to the sanctuary and more importantly, the rest of the team. Several other teens had arrived throughout this week. Much like the Justice League, they all had their own quirks and identities. He expected three new faces today, but was also tracking yesterday's arrival being a part of the initial tour of the Secret Sanctuary.

A few steps away from Red Tornado one of the new arrivals waited with him, having gotten there early, standing quietly next to the silent android. Daphne adjusted her sunglasses, pushing them back up her button nose. They hadn’t said a word to each other for the past fifteen minutes aside from a polite greeting. It was difficult to get a feel of his expression, since his metal face remained blank the entire time. It made her a bit uncomfortable, was she supposed to say anything? Fifteen minutes of silence was kind of long right?

When he suddenly started to speak Daphne nearly dropped her backpack.
“Follow me inside” His voice while definitely robotic wasn’t as monotone as she expected.They hadn’t spoken much, but it was easy to get used to. The android promptly turned around and walked through the underground entrance at the base of Mount Justice, without actually looking to see if the teens were following him.

They started the tour in the common area.
“There is a kitchen at your disposal where you may prepare food and eat it.” Red Tornado stated simply. Granted a tour usually wasn’t all that exciting to begin with, but having an android explain the functionality of a kitchen, well you get the idea.

The kitchen had a large, U-shaped couch, in front of which sat a coffee table and a wall-mounted widescreen television, with a variety of gaming systems attached to it. The lounge’s perimeter was made up of bookshelves that reached from the floor to the ceiling, containing a collection of the widest possible variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction.

“Any questions about the use of this room?”
He regarded the young heroes with the same set expression.

Taking their silence as a yes, he continued onwards.

They visited the dormitories, the gymnasium and the meeting chamber. All rooms accompanied by the same dry instructions of Red Tornado. The teens by now were getting admittedly bored, some showing it more obviously than others. If Red Tornado even acknowledged this fact he didn’t do anything about it, he merely carried on, as he was required to give them a full tour of the HQ.

Required until more pressing matters caused him to suddenly stop in place while leading the group to the next location. There was no indicator of someone else contacting him until he verbally answered to seemingly no one.

"Affirmative…" He paused and looked at the group he had been touring around and made a not so empathetic decision. "You three will remain here until I return to complete the tour. I should not be long." He gave a nod to the group before heading towards the Teleporter Room and leaving the sanctuary utilizing the Zeta-beam tubes. He left the teens to assume there was some important Justice League matter that needed his attention.

"That's unfortunate." Viktor finally piped up from the rear. He'd been quiet the entire time, observing and listening to everyone in his company. He had roamed the Sanctuary the night prior, but was looking for more insight from Red Tornado on every location within his new home. "Hmm."

Nur caught the lazily thrown pillow with a confident smirk.
"It's because I don't mind hitting other women"

She sat up straight on the bed, giving the changed shape of Aiko a good look. Aiko had become.....annoyingly beautiful. Long and thick indigo locks caressed her pale shoulders. Starburst eyes drawing in anyone who looked into them too long. The swooping tails swayed behind her gently. The staring gave Aiko some time to retrieve a couple of pillows from her kingdom of feathery softness, the bed was incredibly soft. If she hadn't been about to engage in battle she could be seduced into snoozing a little.

Nur fought the urge to jump on top of Aiko when she got closer. It would be impossible to keep her foot concealed if she was jumping about everywhere. On second thought a pillow fight might have not been the best idea, when she was rooted to the spot like a rose bush. She was going to have to employ a different strategy. Using her quick reflexes she tossed a couple of pillows at Aiko in rapid succession. Her fellow succubus was ever resourceful, even using some of her tails to deflect the barrage of pillows.

Nur didn't like losing and she wasn't about to either. One of the pillows she'd fired off came right back at her, hitting her head. It was barely a hit, too soft to phase her. Yet she pretended to be hit by a weapon of mass destruction. She gasped dramatically and let herself fall down onto the bed. Even when falling she made sure to make it as beautiful as she could. Resting on her back, her dark hair fanning out behind her on the mattress, eyes closed serenely. Nur stayed like that, pretending to have fainted, waiting for Aiko to draw in closer. Then she would strike!

Nur chuckled right after Aiko when he confessed he wasn't hitting on her. She didn't think he was. He was a incubus, if he was trying to talk her into his bed she would definitely notice. Nur had heard them all, some pick up lines she truly despised, others she could appreciate now and again. She even had some favorites, though it did all depend on who was saying them to her. Aiko started to tell more about himself and she listened with interest. Knowing more about him would make him less of a potential threat to her. How unusual.....
A demon who grew up among demi-humans. So she did get it right before, he passed as a demi-human, he was even raised among them. Nur leaned back against him, wanting to know more.

And he'd also lived in the Cocytus, although very shortly. He probably came to the discovery that the demon city was a snake pit on the charm wore off. She was glad to know he got something out of his trip there. Cocytus gave her the tools she needed to survive, but she'd outgrown the city. The dreaming succubi were more rare, she'd only met them a handful of times in her travels. In her opinion they were more powerful as much as she hated to admit it. Their shape shifting abilities were envied by succubi and incubi alike.

"I'm glad your trip to Cocytus left you with something useful"

Nur stared at the ceiling of the lavish attic. She thought about sharing her story, but felt doubtful. It was strange to just one day wake up, with no memory on what caused her powers to weaken. It was a gap in her life's story she couldn't explain, much less tell someone else. It had caused her to travel all across Avalia searching for a way to cure herself. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to at least share her origins.

"I did grow up there in Cocytus, right along all my brothers and sisters. The city is fun when you're a careless child"
She held out her hand in front of her, looking at her nails with a thoughtful expression.
"But once you grow into a woman, the claws come out. It's every girl for herself. So after a while I got tired of the backstabbing. Sometimes I also felt like I didn't fit in anymore, or ever did at all."
Nur kept her gaze on the ceiling, as if her life in the city was displayed in a series of pictures above her. She felt nostalgia, longing but also resentment and bitterness.
"I used to love reading fairytales, the way they spoke about true love was very romantic to me"
She chuckled lightly, knowing it was very odd for a demon to admire ideals set by fairies and elves. It was the reason why many of her siblings laughed at her when she was younger, but she never let it bother her.
"I always believed I could find it too"

Nur bit her lip, feeling like she'd just shared a little too much. Time for a distraction. She was getting awfully sentimental. The succubus pushed herself up from the sofa and turned around to face Aiko. She nodded towards the bed with a mischievous smirk, her emerald eyes gleaming.
"You're thinking what I'm thinking right now...?"
With a short sprint and quick jump Nur landed on the bed with a practiced grace. She grabbed one of the pillow, took aim and tossed it right at Aiko's head.
"Pillowfight!" She yelled gleefully.
"Oh but wait!" She held up her hand in pause."Before I let you choose your weapons, you are going to have to lose some mass"
Nur gestured towards his form in objection to the unfair amount of weight he would have over her.
"Woman to woman..."
She put her hands on her hips, ready for battle.
