Bio

Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

Vaughtar's room

"Ahem." The man straightened, but, his height would never match that of the gargoyle.

"As I said... My name is Winston. I am part of the organization that rescued you. We are called TRIDENT. You are very likely very far from home..."

Winston crossed the room and sat in a chair, sitting down he would seem less threatening, he hoped.

"You are on a planet called Earth. Have you heard of it? Are you from here? Perhaps?" TRIDENT kept close tabs on the few 'strange' creatures that still resided on earth. Nothing was like the one that stood before him. It reminded him of Gothic carvings of gargoyles. Perhaps there was a connection, perhaps not. "If you have not heard of it I wouldn't be surprised. You might be from another world."

This was the tough part to explain. The thing spoke, so, he assumed a level of sentience.

"Something happened, we do not know what it is or what to call it. There was some sort of portal or rift. It seemed that someone on our world was trying to... Well... are not sure what they were trying to do, because they are all dead." Their bodies were incinerated by magic and dragon fire.

TRIDENT still had not located the dragon. That though made Winston uneasy, but, that was not his prime objective at the moment.

"You, whoever, survived. There are others. You all seem to have been drawn through this rift in time and space. We found you half-frozen on the side of the mountain near the rift. We brought you here and did our best, though, we were perplexed with exactly what to do with you. There is no one else like you, that we know of, here on Earth. I'm glad that it seems... You only needed a little time to recover." Winston gave the gargoyle a half smile.

"I am here to talk to you, let you know what we know about what has happened. Listen to your own story. It may help us figure out what has happened. Where are you from? What was the last thing you remember?"

He shook his head. "I'm sorry. Perhaps I am going too fast... Do you understand what I am saying? Do you have any questions about what I am saying? I will do my best to answer, but, this event is still very much a mystery to us."
I'm not sure that will work my schedule is REALLY wacky.

I'll do my best to reply quick! like right now!
@Fetzen I wrote your character in!

So the deal is that all the other-world-persons who did not already talk to MERCY are getting interviewed and de=briefed by Winston to make sure they are not hostile/one of the ritual sits/see if they know what is going on.

I'll leave it up to you if you want to play that out, or we could summarize/time skip to get your character to the meeting.

Edit: So we are way underwater and no one can tell (But you). When everything else was going on before this it was daytime, so your character naturally didn't wake up as they were in a weakened state, everyone who came through the rift was kind of beat up anyway. Then perhaps now it is night-time and your character has regained strength and woken up etc etc etc. Sound legit?
In Winston's Room. [/b]

Winston was finishing his whiskey and finally starting to feel comfortable when a voice paged him over the intercom in his room.

"Winston. Another one just woke up. Report."

Winston frowned. "Why can't one of the MERCY kids do it?"

"They are all in a meeting with the rest. No one is getting a break, Winston, not for awhile I think."

Winston replied with only a groan.

"Trisitan wants you on this one. He specifically said that you--"

"Duty calls." Winston sighed, filled up his whiskey, drank it quickly and got up to leave.

Vaughtar's room

The door opened, and Winston stepped inside, it closed and locked behind him.

Winston knew he was in trouble as soon as he realized where he was going. The others, whom had already made contact with the MERCY team had been put in the same submarine. Others who had not made contact, but, seemed human enough were put elsewhere. Winston had spent much time in that submarine already. They were instead, headed for the mother-sub. It was here that the stranger, larger, more questionable beings were homed.

He saw something bigger than an average human. Stony grey. Claw and spike. He had been given a much larger room. There was a bed, probably too small. There was not much medical equipment. The doctors weren't sure what would help this beast. It seemed that he only needed some time...

Winston swallowed hard. He had to assume the best, that the huge being on the other side of the room was intelligent... and reasonable... and not hungry...

"Hello." He finally managed. "My name is Winston. What is yours?"

In the Meeting Room

"Yes. We found a few flasks." The screen shifted to display the collection. One did seem to match the monk's description. The others might look familiar to him as well. "We had assumed they were ritual items. But, if they are yours they might instead be from your world."
@Eyeris@jdh97 Is my character good?

I noticed it was the last thing you added. I would like more details about the powers. It seems like he has a very broad spectrum of abilities, similar issue to the last character.
Sorry for the post delay. My keyboard busted. Got new one! Wohooop!
<Snipped quote by Eyeris>

Each spirit gives him a different power set with new strengths and characters. The actual character can only use swords, sleight of hand, and energy. The rest of what he does is with the help of a spirit and each strength a spirit gives, he also gains a weakness.

Yes. But I would prefer one character to a 5-in-1 character.

I also support everything JDH said.
My last finals are tomorrow! I'll have a post after that stress is dropped.
Name: Aeron Stormhawk

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Species: Homo-Spiritus (A human that can utilize the spirits of the dead to do great feats.)

World of Origin: Elgard (A D&D-like world full of many different species where magic is free-flowing.)

Are you a member of TRIDENT? If so, what is your job/specialty? No.

Are you one of those seemingly normal people? If so, what do you do? No.

Appearance: He stands 6'2" with an athletic build. He has shoulder-length, spiky, silver hair and normal, blue eyes. He clothes are not easy to describe.

Abilities and skills: Aeron is good with any sword, though could still use improvement, and can utilize energy rather efficiently. He is also rather proficient in crafting and cooking. He still retains his dexterity and sleight-of-hand from when he was a child, living on the streets. To use his full power, Aeron must allow one of his contracted spirits shared control, giving him access to the spirit's abilities. While Aeron himself controls the physical movements, the spirit is the one controlling the energy to increase the damage. When he first gains a contract with a spirit, there is always a learning curve to allow them to get to know how to battle together. He currently has 5 spirits contracted with him that he can call to him.

Torth: Nicknamed the King of the Mountain, Torth is very strong but not very bright. He knows what he needs to know and helps Aeron when called upon, giving him the power to easily lift and move objects that he would otherwise be unable to. He also allows him to deal and take great damage, though he's very slow. He can also control earth. His weakness is water.

Aeryus: Aeryus is an air spirit, giving Aeron speed, though lowers his defense, and allows Aeron to control the air around him. Aeryus is rather childish and fun-loving, having been given the moniker Stormchild because of it. His weakness is Earth.

Ophrita: A phoenix called the Empress of Embers, Ophrita allows Aeron to utilize her speed and ferocity, though he cannot touch water without being hurt. With Ophrita, Aeron can control fire and fly, though not for long distances. When with her, he is easy to anger.

Ludin: She allows Aeron to move more gracefully, allowing him to dodge more attacks and make it a little harder to hurt him. However, he can't deal as much damage. With her, he can control water but has a weakness to lightning.

Valmore: Valmore is a genderless spirit of the element of spirit. They allow Aeron to heal faster, though doesn't really help with combat.

Strengths and Weaknesses: While faster and stronger than a normal human, not to mention an other-worldly sense on others who can use magic and/or energy, he can be killed just as easily as a normal human. While having a spirit with him, Aeron becomes weak to the opposite element than what the spirit gives him.

Equipment Requests: Nothing.

History: Aeron grew up from a young age living on the streets of the big city, Durendel. He's been able to use energy for as long as he can remember, which made survival a lot easier for him. He contracted his first spirit, Aeryus, at 12. With Aeryus as his friend, growing up on the streets became easier for him, until they met Ludin 4 years later. Ludin helped the pair grow up a little, allowing Aeron to turn from a child to a young man. He met his next 2 spirits when he was 20 and 24, giving him fire and earth respectfully. A week before being torn through the rift, he found his fifth and final spirit, Valmore.

Personality: He's mostly carefree, fun-loving, and easygoing. However, when he does get serious, he becomes very scary. During a fight, he is often acting the smart-ass and turning his opponent's words against them. He's very intelligent, though doesn't always show it, and can make plans and strategies on the fly.

Hey hey! Thanks for finishing the cs!

I like the concept, but, this character is over powered for the current level of this game. They have fighting skills, energy skills, slight of hand, and all the powers that come with each "summon". He has a lot going on that isn't described in depth.

What do you think about picking a specialty for your character and then fleshing that out?
@Fetzen hey!

I like Ava approve the character!

Tomorrow is my last final exam. I'll write and intro for you after that!
