Ooo, I dig it. That's a fun tie-in.
Alrighty got the ball rolling, it's a very narrative and open system; this particular adventure will be following the module, and this one has branching paths and choices, but there will be a lot of open air for roleplaying and narrative things in many of our scenarios before I call on dice rolls.
Pride, Prejudice, and Centipedes

Stairside

By the steep wall of the Great Stairs, where the Entry Hall opens up on the Short Hallway, there's a merry little village known as Stairside. A series of ranches and farms run parallel to the stairs here, represented in an articulated system of tall houses, stables, and paddocks. The town has grown over the years, and in the peace following the Household War has experienced a marked self sufficiency.

Mice clamber about in pens; one gnaws upon a post only to receive a stern shout from the nearby Boggart man, bent-backed and sweaty already in the soft morning light, as he sweeps the heavy dust of the region from before his squat home. Following the avenue into the city of Stairside, the road passes by a hotel, a hunter den clamoring in preparation for the lengthy foot voyage up the Great Stair, and a caravan coming up the Short Hallway from the Basement of Sluagh.

The Sluagh, in their tall turbans and dust-whipped garb, unload crate after crate of good onto the open ground of the Stairside market, under the jealous and suspicious eye of the native Boggart farmers as they open their morning stalls for the market as well as the inquisitory and ever-invasive gaze of a relaxed squad of Fairy Soldiers bearing the armor and coats of the Great Imperial Army as they adopt casual patrols through the area. Life in Stairside was awakening to this morning, but somewhere in the town a cry goes afoul and a spark approaches the powdered keg...

The Blue Rat Inn

This is where our Littles find themselves on this fine morning; their reasons are their own, of course, but our intrepid adventurers find themselves at a table together by quirk of fate and the will of the Forces, after they awake in the morning and emerge from their rooms.

The main hall is a warm room here in the Blue Rat. A dozen Littles of all types mingle and discuss quiet news over their breakfasts, with Old Abbott, the innkeeper, manning the bark and cleaning glasses with a meticulous and orderly dedication. The aged Boggart was thick of beard, though it had gone grey by now, and bald of head as he converses with patrons who seek his charms. Every few minutes a young woman with thick, curly, hair tightly bound into a ponytail with string comes bustling out of the back kitchens with a tray laden with drinks and foods; on this morning, she hastily deposits mugs of water before Your Littles before taking initial drink requests and disappearing into the back once more. This is Elizabeth, Old Abbott's grand daughter and chief help here at the Blue Rat.

Go ahead and describe their morning routine, or otherwise how your Little finds themselves at breakfast on this morning. Decide if this is your Little's first time meeting and the circumstances of their relationship, and engage in roleplay for the time being. Additionally, if this is not your first stay in the Blue Rat, feel free to detail how your character feels about Old Abbott or Elizabeth as well as if they are on friendly terms.
Zavakri's prepared mystical might surges-- but fizzles as the climax swiftly becomes anticlimax. She tenses, eyes bright, only to hold that tension as Illig proclaims his usurpation. Then, her tenseness slowly fades into a queer relief and awkwardness. She coughs once, then lowers her hands into a limp and energy-less state at her sides.

"...Er...Yeah! Cheers, mate, you did it. Glad to be of service. It's good to see...er...evolution and...ah...progress come to the state, cor, double good it is." She contributes with verbal gusto despite her suddenly exhausted-seeming physical state.
Secondary int-check launched, all that's left is for me to launch the first IC post as well as add to the world information section of the first OOC post. Largely that can be done as we proceed, so I feel considerably less stressed than I did when I first started trying to compile things.
Hello. I am Fading Memory, and I am running a game of 'Household' here on the Guild. I have taken the time to write out a fairly thorough explanation of the mechanics in the present OOC thread linked below, and am capable of sharing the player materials for those interested. More importantly, however, I wish to make it known to any who are interested that this game is still welcoming more players and will be going through an initial trial period where the players will be tackling the quick-start adventure offered by the designers. Should all go well, I will continue to be the storyteller for the players as they tackle the Household's Saga of the Fragile Peace adventure set.

The Household is a very big place, with very little people inside it. Drawing inspiration from sources such as The Borrowers, The Secret World of Arriety, and other such resonant works, the players will be handling the fates and destinies of Littlings of their various shapes and sizes as a tenuous period of peace stretches in the wake of twenty years of brutal warfare between the various Little Folk nations. Setting-wise, the game takes place in what I would escribe as 'Period' era; muskets and duels, nobility and class schisms, innovation and worldly exploration, are all the bread and butter of this game. One's decorum, wealth, and status matter just as much as one's ability to wield the mighty scissor-blade or elegantly defend oneself with the flourish of a cape. Social graces, wit, might, and guile all must be wielded by our Littlings as they journey throughout the house and tiptoe through these precarious times.

If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to join us below and read the OOC thread to see what all has been discussed thus far. The Saga is presented in a curious fashion to myself, your erstwhile storyteller; it is one of the only games I have ever seen that is structured in a way to require/encourage players to run multiple characters, so as to experience different sides of the House and the plot in parallel as we advance through the timeline. For the time being we will be focusing on one group as we explore the prologue and the events of 'Pride, Prejudice, and Centipedes'- a short, but flavorful, foray into the Household.

The intention is for me to formally launch the game during this week, regardless of the number of interested parties who are available at the time. Come and join at your leisure.

Elden Ring destroyed my brain for the weekend, updating the OOC and double checking my notes today. I anticipate being able to start our prologue sometime this week.
Yeah. He was speaking to Tabiah and really really hoping he wouldn’t need to do the inevitable joining of paths with the Bleakers. Now he isn’t being quiet or anything, and he’s certainly gawking, so it could still end up prompting the cabalists.
That is genuinely hilarious. The multiverse’s greatest rebels. Literally don’t need help.
@rush99999 as visible as is dramatically appropriate. Which is to say ‘if it causes Drama, then yes’.
