Basements are inherently dastardly. Nothing good ever came from the bowels of a basement; so, Loki makes it a habit of conducting business in luxurious hotels and fancy rooftops โ things befitting a rich underground bookie who makes millions off of gambling addicts. Then, the damn police came sniffing around his base of operations, and his little meeting was changed from the coziest conference room in all of Seattle to fuckinโ Toddโs motherโs basement. It is supremely low class of him.
โThis is supremely low class of me.โ Loki repeats for his minions to hear, legs crossed imperiously on his camping chair with expensive brandy in expensive glass sitting in the cupholder. His minions โ Todd and the new guy โ stutter, unsure if they should agree or refute his opinion. โChrist, you act as if Iโll hit you. Cโmon, guys, itโs me! The Leo-ster! You donโt have to act so formal around me.โ
Loki stood up and did a turn in his casual black silk button up and black slacks, as if to show that heโs one of them. Of course, he isnโt. Heโs an immortal, a fuckinโ god to these ants, but fear never was the way. Loki carefully lowers himself back down into the precarious folding chair, winking mischievously at his underlings as their shoulders relax.
โNow, status report!โ Loki says cheerfully, careful to not disturb the casual atmosphere he created. โDid you do what I asked of you?โ
โYeah!โ The new guy (Carl?) exclaims, excited to prove his worth, before sitting back and clearing his throat. In a more macho voice, he continues, โI have a feeling Rotger wonโt be walking anytime soon.โ
Lokiโs eyes widen comically, and he leans forward, โWhat? You broke his legs? What kind of operation do you think Iโm running here? Iโm not a damn gangster!โ
โO-oh, well T-Todd said that โโ the newbie stumbled over his words, cowering slightly while playing with the ends of his shirt.
Loki couldnโt contain it any longer, he falls backwards and bursts into laughter. โIโm just kidding man, nice work. Fuckinโ Rotger, hope the little bastardโs kneecaps heal slowly.โ
โO-Oh.โ Slowly Todd and the new guy start chuckling too, nervously and hesitant.
A ringing echoes in the dingy basement, disrupting the unease like a knife on a chopping board in a horror film โ that is, to say, it didnโt disrupt it at all, but rather made it worse. Loki looked down at his phone and jumped onto his feet, โWell, I have an appointment. Good job with Rotger, guys. Knew I could count on you!โ
Loki whistled a jaunty tune as he leapt up the stairs, twisting his hips this way and that to the sound of a beat no one else heard.
It didnโt take long for Loki to find the conference room after exiting his nice, sleek black car. He just had to follow the scent of Greek desperation and Celtic ire. It also helped that the door was left slightly ajar either from tweedledumโs somersault into the room or that nobodyโs projectile vomit relay race. Loki smiled to himself at the chaos around him and took off his sunglasses.
โNice aim, dude.โ Loki cackled, patting the man that stunk of fish on the back as he passed him by.
Anubis passed Loki by to bring back materials to mop up the mess. โHey, Assface.โ Loki greeted, moving away from the straight-laced man before he could respond.
Normally, Loki would find the time to antagonize every human being in the room, but he was more preoccupied with making a beeline straight for his daughter. Like an angel, Loki spread his arms wide and beckoned Hel in for a hug, โOh my lovely daughter, what a sight for sore eyes! Give daddy a hug!โ

NOTES ABOUT CS:The header with the drop shadow is a little bit confusing. Instead of explaining it, I'm going to link the guide: here. This guide explains it much better than me, and I recommend reading it all the way through, but if you don't want to the header code is under1. Centred "Dropshadows".
The images must be portrait for the CS to work! A good tool for cropping, and adding borders if you want them, is Lunapic.
If one of the images becomes smaller than the other, then in the line of x's above that image add another x until they are of equal size.

When others' do not stand up to her expectation, whether it be over something small or large, she tends to lose any hope for them and will treat them with scorn. She is quick to judge others and assume that if they do anything bad, it's for selfish undue reasons that could be avoided. She has a very black and white perception of the world born of her naivety and sheltered life. Because of her eagerness to help others, she's also a bit of a doormat and is easily taken advantage of. She won't notice it until someone points it out to her, and when it happens she can't seem to stop herself. ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ธ๐ป๐ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Go Yi-Hwa was born and raised in a rural town in South Gyeongsan with a family of five, her parents and her two older brothers. She spent much of her childhood playing outside with her brothers while her father traveled around South Korea in his semi-truck and her mother spent her time working in their bakery. Her family has always been on the conservative side, so when her dad found out her eldest brother was gay, her brother was exiled from the Go house. Her relationship with her father has been strained ever since then. Due to her familyโs low income, her other brother couldnโt afford to go to college and instead started to do labor work around town. Go Yi-Hwa dived into her studies so she could go to college on a scholarship and study law to bring pride and fortune to her family. All the while, sheโs hiding her bisexuality from her father. She has a lot of dreams, really. Mostly, though, Yi-hwa just wants to have a happy family life. She wants her family to be comfortable with money and her brother to come back. She wants them to be whole again, and accept and love each other. Yi-hwa hopes that, by becoming a lawyer, she can make enough money to support her family and bring them happiness at her accomplishments.    |

She doesnโt know how this Conclave will go, as none of the others know what has happened yet, except for her. The death of one of their own will surely shock them all, and she doesnโt even want to think of how Loki will react. Not only that, but they need to talk about the missing Colossus. They have spent the past five years ignoring it, and now their ignorance has cost the life of Hephaestus.
