Sorry. I was waiting to make sure you were back, but I have been busy the last few days. Responding now.
Since @Minnakht's group is not leaving the shrine yet, I won't parse their actions or throw anything at them.

I think we are waiting for Raptorman to make his first post so that he can join us for that, but I can't really speak for the others.

Watching the display of oddity he could help but feel his excitement growing. Magic seemed very real in this world, and Vestus himself even started to use it easily. Fire... Maybe I should try a fireball. The idea was to create a classic application to magic, a simple sphere of fire.

Holding his left wrist level in front of his face he closely watches his palm with his fingers curled slightly. Not knowing what to do, he just thought about having energy flowing towards his hand, before thinking about a small spark above this hand. When he did so, flames rushed from his palm to form a flowing yellowish-orange sphere of fire.

Taken aback, he closed his hand, extinguishing the flame in a matter of milliseconds. Opening his hand hesitantly he did not see any marks even indicating his skin was on fire.

Determined to try again, he held his hand in front of his face as he created the fireball yet again. It was relatively simplistic, the width of him palm. It gave off heat. Not an oppressive one but rather a warm feeling. His palm was generating the flames themselves that lead up to the sphere, before they somehow were drawn in. Seeing if it was possible to move his hand, whenever he tilted it the orb kept parallel with his hand until the point he pointed his palm down, which extinguished the flames.

For the third fireball, he tried flexing his fingers, seeing if that would extinguish the flames or not. When he played them out, it increased the size of the orb, with curling fingers decreasing the size. Is this our 'power'? Even more intrigued, a few moments of messing around and he realized he could change the size and heat just by concentrating on those aspects, also.

Wary of pushing himself too far when experimenting in case it went out of control, he instead returned to his simple fireball. Holding his hand towards Vestus, Nathaniel spoke in a interested and slightly excited tone. "Vestus. It seems we might actually share similar abilities."

When he was asked again why they were all there he couldn't help but smirk and reply as he did before. "It seems we are all going on an adventure. But honestly speaking, I am about as confused as you probably are." Quickly dropping the façade, he looked at the area around him at the distractedly, first at the pods, then at each of the four people nearby.

"There might purpose to all of this, but piecing it together might be beyond our capabilities at this time..." A low sigh escaped his throat as he shook his head. "But we should not let that discourage us. You wouldn't expect to know everything when thrown into an unusual situation, so we should all do the best that we can in this situation."

Moving his gaze the environment outside the window for a moment, he fixates on how unusual it is compared to what he was used to seeing. His previous life was lost, but this new one has the promise of potential. "But this place does seem like it will be quite enjoyable," with a solemn tone and bittersweet smile, he turns to look at Vestus yet again. "Don't you think so?"

_This is getting even more interesting._ The two women, Angela and Elizabeth, seem to know each other. Pondering on this for a moment, he does not know if this might mean that there is some sort of connection between the kidnappees. He raises his palm to rest his chin in it before closing his eyes. There will be time enough to get that information, so he might as well focus on the conversation.

Opening his eyelids to form a small slit, he looks towards Elizabeth. He did not let her comment before get to him, but he was itching to respond. "Besides, I may indeed be a dolt, since all I know may now be worthless," a simple smile crossed his face and he opened his eye wide, "but I don't see the problem with trying to be formal." With a slight shrug, he was about to continue his conversation but the new arrival stopped any thought of that in his tracks. His imposing form took Nathaniel a moment to take in, but as the man was introducing himself Nathaniel pushed his shoulders off the wall to stand straight up once again.

Dodging the posed question about the voices, since he wanted to hear if the others compare their own first, Nathaniel skipped straight to an introduction. "Hello, Vestus. My name is Nathaniel, and it is a pleasure to meet you." Bowing his upper body slightly, Nathaniel then leans for a third time in a short while against the wall behind him. His new plan was to hopefully observing the conversations between the others while piecing together the information he already knows. He now knew at least one other person had heard voices, but if it was the same voice, that is something that he did not know yet.

With the new arrival - a woman who did not seem well-prepared either - the awkwardness of holding his hand out as such got to him, so he raised it to his face, pushing up his imaginary glasses before placing it behind his back like his other hand without hesitating. "Ahh, please excuse me. I am Nathaniel."

Since he was still not feeling sure on his legs he decided to lean his shoulders to the wall yet again before stating a query of his own. "Is it correct to assume you are just as surprised by these recent developments?" Adding a slight tilt to his head, he still maintained a straight face.

Everything felt different. It was not just the new environment or the fact he was physically better than he has been for years, but he could not put his finger on it. Some serious introspection might turn out to be beneficial, but, before that, he wanted to know more about this world. Trying to remember the strange dream he had he could clearly remember the phrase 'Cradle of Divinity' in relation to this, along with some sort of discussion on 'power'. It was during this train of thought that he heard someone stuttering to introduce themselves nearby him which brought himself back to the current situation.

They also asked the question 'where are we headed?'. It takes him a moment to think of a response to the question he did not even know how to answer. Slowly turning towards person who introduced themselves as Azorel, he leans his shoulders against the wall to continue supporting himself while standing straight up. Their appearance was somewhat unusual, and definitely not as clear-cut as he expected, but the thing behind them was something that drew his attention. A slime? This is getting really interesting. Placing one arm under his own chin, and his other hand supporting his opposite elbow, he lets out a 'Hmmm.'

"Where are we headed?" Repeating the question, he brings his eyes to look just above Azorel's, he lets himself smirk. "It seems we are headed to an adventure. I don't know much more than that, but I am guessing time will tell what happens." He lets his hands drop to his side with a shrug and removes his shoulders from the wall. A proper smile crosses his face while he holds his right hand in front of himself and his left hand against his back. "Forgive me, I don't seem to have introduced myself. My name is Nathaniel. Nice to meet you, Azorel."

Weakly stumbling out of the pod, he lands roughly on all fours, but managed to work himself about so that he was propped up with a single foot, with the shin of the other leg lying underneath him. His mind was haze, and his memories were a mess. As he looked around bewildered, the fact the surroundings were blurred did not help, he could tell from the odd mosaic of colours that it was not anywhere he ever was before. His fingers unconsciously reached into his breast pocket expecting for his glasses to be in there. When his fingered grabbed air, he looked down and patted the pocket itself. No evidence of his glasses were to be found.

At this point he was slightly panicking. As his hands swept across the smooth floor, thinking he accidentally dropped them during his fall. When no progress was made he habitually pressed his finger against the glasses set upon the ridge of his nose to push them back up. The fact only hit him a few second afterwards, which caused him to sit still for a moment before he slowly took off his glasses in order to make sure they were the same.

The brown, rectangular frames were unmistakeable, but what really surprised him was the world beyond the glasses was considerably sharper now. The only sound able to escape his mouth was a dull "huh". Collapsing the arms of the glasses, he slides them into his breast pocket before placing his hands once again onto the hard floor. Pushing himself up, he unsteadily maintains his balance, but his legs feel at least a bit more steadfast than they have in a long while.

Not wanting to push himself unnecessarily at the moment, nor wanting to take in too much information at once, he slowly walks himself to a nearby wall. Using the wall as a crutch, the unfamiliar wilderness outside a nearby window captures his attention. "... It's... pretty."

Name: Nathaniel Mouri

Sex: Male

Age: 17

Appearance: His short, scruffy, dirty blonde hair allows for the majority of his slightly pale face, sharp features and hazel eyes to be exposed. His 5'5" tall, slightly lean frame is hardly all too impressive. A simple white and blue tartan button-up shirt, blue jeans and worn-out slippers are what he arrived in.

Personality: He likes analyzing how things work together to create a whole, though he is stubborn, not easily shaken in his conclusions even if they are flawed. Generally passive, he dislikes it when people forcibly push ideals onto him, or make him do something he doesn't want to do.

He is a bibliophile who reads what he can get his hands on, valuing little above a good book, while liking his own alone time. He also likes the prospects of adventuring and exploring, often ignoring the thought of danger for the experience it give.

Biography: Living in a manor with his parents and three older siblings, he lived a life where he could easily get what he wanted, within reason. There were no qualms to be had, since he could just keep to the manor and had plenty of free time between private lessons.

A frequently sick boy, it was not unknown for persons in the family to be more prone to illness than other family members, since his eldest sister was the same way. It was at the age of fifteen when he started to show some signs of a particular illness. Starting with numbness of the feet, it gradually progressed up his legs, and as time wore on he found it harder to walk around the manor unaided.

Nathaniel soon find it easier to keep in his room, occupied between tutors by messing around with what he could get his hands on, be it book or electronic, and finding bliss in escaping into a different world while waiting until his family could find a doctor which could diagnose and cure his ailment.

By the time he was seventeen, little progress was made and he could barely walk from his bed to a nearby desk, but he was not ready to relinquish his ability to walk.

Then, one day, he was then called to the Cradle of Divinity.

- Above-Average Memory
- Analytical Mind
- Amateur Tinkerer

Elemental Cores: Air/Water

Abilities:

Current Shot (Electricity/Air) - Creating a dense sphere of electrical power in his palm that grows as Nathaniel charges it, can be released in two different ways. By launching the sphere either in a straight line, it maintains the majority of its power while splitting it into multiple, weaker spheres launches said spheres in a scattershot pattern, which spread can be adjusted before firing.

Fireball (Fire) - Creating a ball of fire a foot in diameter, the sphere itself can be tossed with a top-spin or thrown straight ahead in an arc.

Frozen Air Slash (Frost/Air) - Slashing in a straight line, Nathaniel create a single white, crescent-shaped form accelerates from the location of the slash. Cutting into whatever it hits, it follows up by subsequently chilling where it cut. The cut itself has little penetration.

Ice Hammer (Ice/Air) - Nathaniel creates a bulk of ice around his hand, using it as a crude bludgeon while using Air magic to create drafts to more easily maneuver the ice form.

Heal (Light) - With a soft glow emanating from his palm, it knits together skin, stops bleeding and removes blemishes/scars directly underneath the light.
