◈ A p p e a r a n c e ◈ Lisa Goldheart is an olive-skinned, wavy black-haired teenage girl of above average height, sporting an athletic build and a pair of golden irises as is the norm for members of House Goldheart. Small, nearly invisible scars dot her body as proof of her many escapades. She dresses in the lightest and airiest clothing she can find whenever she isn’t in class and when she is forced to wear her uniform she will usually get in trouble for taking off her coat and not buttoning her shirt up all the way.

◈ P e r s o n a l i t y Curious ◈ Impulsive ◈ Outdoorsy ◈ Approachable ◈ Stubborn
As a noble from birth, Lisa can be impulsive and rash to a fault, personality traits that she developed from a young age due to the easy access she had to everything she desired. Despite this, she isn’t a completely spoiled person. While she is stubborn, she is also one of the most curious people you’ll ever meet. While she is rash, she is also approachable and kind. And while she isn’t the most academically inclined student at the Academy, she is definitely one of the most social.
Her pride at her ancestry and status give her a near endless source of self-esteem and a complete lack of fear towards failure (which she thinks of as mere setbacks), and the financial backing she receives from her parents reinforces this facet of hers, as she can easily purchase anything she desires in order to try new hobbies or endear herself to new acquaintances.
In short, Lisa is a rash young noblewoman that somehow manages to capture the hearts of most of the people she meets due to the purity and transparency of her character.
◈ H i s t o r y Lisa was born as the fifth child of Lucius and Esmeralda Goldheart, destined for a life of comfort and duty within the confines of Lekëan Nobility. Lisa. She was raised mostly by her mother’s handmaidens, and showed her curious spirit as soon as she could walk and talk. She’d ask questions about everything, often driving her mother and carers to annoyance before they sent her to play by herself, which usually ended up with her finding her way to the craziest spots in the Manor. Lisa always smiled whenever she remembered that time they had to get a Hatcher to cut a hole in her bedroom’s false ceiling after she somehow found her way into it.
As a young noble child, she was subject to private tutoring on Lekëan History, Etiquette, Noble Life, Numbers and Letters. She cared not for any of it except for whenever the tutor would bring up stories about Goldheart, their heroic ancestor, a noble man who had given everything up to become a scout and explorer in charge of an airship under the command of the Harold Arslan. His stories would brighten her day up without fault, and she would soon find herself exploring every nook and cranny of her family’s estate.
But despite how much she enjoyed her early years, time always marches forward. When she manifested her Gift for the first time at age 12, she was enrolled into the Academy, where she quickly made friends and enemies and learned more about the world than her noble family would’ve ever deemed fit to teach her. It was during her first year at the Academy that she found her love for all kinds of sports and practical commoner’s clothing. Her second and third years she built a reputation for herself and soon became both a trusted ally to the Illuminaires and an occasional thorn in their side.
◈ R e p u t a t i o n Lisa is a popular figure at the school, not only because she is a true direct descendant from one of the many lesser heroes of the Time of Tears and a Noble herself, but also because she is simply fun to be around and a great source of inspiration to the younger kids. Her adventurous spirit coupled with her complete lack of reservations when it comes to being the first to try anything new helps people come out of their shell when around her, something that has helped her meet dozens of people she would gladly call friends, and several still that she would call close friends.
She is also known for being a troublemaker, because whenever something happens Lisa just so happens to have been involved in some manner, whether it be by chance or purposefully so, and being known to be on friendly terms with some of the school’s bullies doesn’t help that part of her reputation.
Overall, while most would agree that Lisa is a genuinely cool person to be around and is truly dedicated to being the best she can be, others would perceive her to be rash, academically unmotivated, and perhaps even a bully herself.
◈ G o a l s In truth, while Lisa is proud of her ancestry and the achievements of her family and her country, all she’s really thought about since the end of her second year at the Academy has been Exploration. She wants to explore the primaeval oceans and the highest mountains of Lekë. She wants to delve into ruins of the past, discover ancient truths and secrets, and even find new worlds in the process. She is aware that her dream of becoming an explorer is likely to be just that – as the obligations of a noblewoman are too restrictive and her duties too heavy to justify throwing it all to the wind, but… What if? That question echoes in Lisa’s head every day just before she does something impulsive and dangerous in the name of keeping her explorer’s spirit alive, as a subtle sign of rebellion against the status quo her Family has fallen into.
◈ R e l a t i o n s Siblings: Lisa’s the fifth child out of ten (with an eleventh on the way), and due to her behaviour is admired by her younger siblings and has over time become a headache for her older ones. Despite all the trouble she tends to cause however she has a good relationship overall with all her siblings and wouldn’t mind being trapped in a room with them. Her favourite sibling would be her oldest brother, Lanius, because of how knowledgeable he is about the human body and how much he seems to care about Lisa’s health, nutrition, and training programs.
Parents: Lisa loves her parents,Lucius and Esmeralda Goldheart dearly, but even she can tell that they don’t think much of her. Sure, they pay for whatever she wants and give her the bare minimum amount of attention a child needs, but they clearly favour their other children much more. She realises it’s because they are all more noble-like than her. Still, she loves them and tries to make them proud in her own way. Maybe someday she’ll actually become posh enough for their liking.
Ozzy Rogers: Lisa’s first friend at the Academy, a 16 year old boy hailing from a prestigious merchant family with a long history of dabbling in numerous crafts. Ozzy himself is a bit obsessed with the clothing industry and will use Lisa as a tester for all his new women’s clothing prototypes. Lisa doesn’t mind the attention and the free clothes, plus all the time he spends measuring her before any new project of his is time she can vent about her problems.
Takumi Hana: A girl hailing from a faraway land, Hana is one of Lisa’s many admirers, whom Lisa seeks to include in as many adventures as possible due to her cleverness and ability to find out more information about the spots they’re planning to explore.
‘Dog’: Lisa doesn’t remember his actual name, and she doesn’t care to learn it. Dog is one of the many school bullies, a guy who at one time got knocked out by Lisa and then became a bit of a puppy around her, hence the name. She is on friendly enough terms with him and will allow him to tag along for most of her adventures, mostly because she’s ignorant about the fact that he is still bullying the youngest students.
Li Arslan: No, not related to the Arslan, but might as well be because of how incredibly cool he is in Lisa’s eyes. He is a fifth year member of the Academy’s Explorer’s Club and the one person that has shown her the coolest spots around and the best ways to sneak out of the dormitories at night to have fun roaming around.

◈ M y s t i c C l a s s i f i c a t i o n Somatic
◈ G i f t Superhuman Physique
◈ M y s t i c C o d e Lisa’s Gift of Superhuman Physique manifests in a straightforward way – All of her physical abilities are augmented to the absolute peak, with the one exception being her strength and constitution, which both surpass the peak by quite a lot. Her punches can dent metal, her body can survive diseases and injuries that would kill most others, she can run as fast as the fastest woman and move as gracefully as the most graceful woman.
◈ L i m i t a t i o n s a n d W e a k n e s s e s Her metabolism is abnormally fast, resulting in her having to eat two to three times as much food as the average male, as well as having an abnormally high body temperature which results in her being uncomfortable in most clothes and climates which is why she is often seen underdressed and having cold drinks/snacks. This means she can overheat quite easily in stressful situations, which can result in all manner of symptoms ranging from dehydration to dizziness and ultimately loss of consciousness.
Thanks for the answers to my earlier question about Gifts! I'm glad it's more like X-men tbh, gives our characters a chance to be more unique. I will start working on a CS and see if I can get it done soon
Oh, for discussing possible gifts, is there someone who I should PM or can I ask for opinions here?
Quick question! SO I've seen the bit about Gifts and their categories, does this mean that if I choose a specific Gift like Healing powers, I would only be able to heal people and not do anything else, or do we all have access to some sort of base magical prowess (aside from flight)?
Was all that Layn could hear, a memory of a sound so loud that it drowned out the roar of the colossal thrusters and the mad beating of her heart. The sight of the heavens above them getting closer and closer, the endless possibilities of having a whole universe to explore, for a lifelong adventurer it was a dream come true.

“... Far beyond the sight of the Gods…”
Even with Luna’s body sunk into the cushioned material of her seat, she could feel her heart break as she listened to the memory. Leaving everything behind – Her memories, her home, her friendship with the Light… Luna struggled with all her might to speak, to confess her true feelings to the person that had raised her, to hear her voice one last time.

“...Where you can be safe…”
Mitt fought desperately against the mist in his eyes. At that moment it felt like all the sand in the Frontier of Tears had gone into them, but he knew better. He knew that the memory would repeat not only now, but forever more. Quieter than now, perhaps, but he knew that every time the sound echoed in his head, he’d remember the Dunes he left behind, the food he never ate, the people he never met… And he would remember those who never had the chance to leave those things behind.

Leon grit his teeth so hard one of his fangs cracked, but he did not feel it then. He felt only shame, only humiliation, only anger and sadness. That they had to leave their home, that they had to leave their whole lives behind, because… Because…
Bitter tears ran down the sides of his face, his expression dark and eyes dull.
For a moment, he felt the blistering sandstone of the streets of the Sanctuary beneath his bare feet. He felt the hunger of a dozen days without food. He felt the despair that had been the rule throughout his life, eating away at his soul and mind.
“... Where you can have a future.”
And then he felt a single ray of hope – Not enough to blind him, but enough to show him that Light existed, that there was something to look forward to, even when one lived in Hell. It calmed him down.

As New Sanctuary broke through the heavens with a trail of smoke and Essence behind it, Aella dropped to her knees on the hot sand of the Frontier. Panting, sweating, bleeding from her eyes, ears, nose and mouth, she lay there on top of the dune. Had she been a mortal, she would have passed out long ago due to the pain.
Shakily, she lifted her head up to see the Flying City disappear into the sky above the sky and let out a trembling gasp of relief. Sending her children far beyond the grasp of the others was the only thing Aella could think of that would ensure their safety. The only way to save them from the coming wars. But it wasn't goodbye.
"I promise to meet you all again some day. After this land has healed and we have achieved harmony, I will look for you... No matter how long it takes."
The hole in the sparsely clouded skies closed back up and Aella hung her head and slowly crumpled to the ground. Her pink tears dripped onto the sand as she began to lose consciousness. Footsteps in the sand approached.
“Regulus, Larwen… You’ve come for me…” The Goddess muttered and passed out.
-1- Lorelei and Astarte spilled out of the Shadow Realms and into a stinky pile of hay. They laid in it for a while, catching their breaths with their limbs intertwined, until a particularly curious gorse (a goat-like mountain horse that looked and acted exactly like a big goat would) came up to them and started nibbling on Astarte’s ponytail.
She shuddered as a big glob of gorse spit landed on the back of her neck and swatted the creature away. “I hate gorses!” She complained as she untangled herself from Lorelei and jumped out of the pile of hay.
“Y-You’re crazy...” Lorelei rolled her eyes at her friend after emerging from the hay. “At least we didn’t waste any time in the Bazaar. I-I had a bad feeling the entire time we were there.”
The lavender-haired ex-goddess stretched her arms over her head so deep that a small squeak escaped her. “All part of the plan, mortal sis!”
“S-Sure. By the way, where’re your boots?”
“Traded them for a prayer dedicated to me! It was a steal!” Astarte explained with a pump of her arm and a grin. Lorelei couldn’t bring herself to tell the woman anything and instead just headed for the barn’s exit.
-2-
“Two hundred Havens. Take it or leave it, cat.”
Lorelei pursed her lips. She felt her ears twitch and flatten against her head. This barbarian wanted to rip her off! Did she really think red skin and muscles were enough to intimidate her into accepting a bad deal? It’s like the smith had no idea of how difficult Havens were to obtain outside of the Thousand Kingdoms at all! The catgirl took in a deep breath before she said anything she could regret and noticed a particular glint coming off a few items on a half-hidden shelf in a corner of the room.
“W-What about…” Lorelei grunted as she grabbed her heavy bag and started to look through it, eventually pulling out a large, brand-new glass bottle and setting it on the stone table across which sat the Smith. “... this?” The Red Oni chimera’s stern visage cracked at the sight and a slight smirk graced her face.
“Hmph. Penumbr-Ale. The X-tronk kind… Not bad, cat. Not bad.” The Smith mused. She set down both elbows on the stone table and rested her head on both her fists, the poor piece of furniture nearly cracking under the solid weight of the giant.
“S-So?” Lorelei asked, hopeful.
The Oni furrowed her brow and rubbed her temples with her hands. After a while, she grunted and leaned back against her ‘throne’, which was actually just a big chair, and shrugged. “The bottle and 50 Havens. That’s the lowest I can go.”
Lorelei put her pouch on the table and emptied its contents for the Smith to see. There were at least a dozen different currencies in her possession, and the amounts were all rather meagre with the exception for a collection of small vials filled with black pellets.
“So… You got 2 Havens. And the Bottle. And a disgusting amount of Shades.” The Smith scratched the side of her nose and sighed. She carefully grabbed one of the vials of pellets and put it away safely in between her breasts. “Yea, forget the Havens. I can do more with Shades anyway. You really are broke though, aren’t you? I don’t understand how someone like you has all these ancient artefacts…”
“O-Oh. I’m not really from around here, I c-came from another place.”
The Oni narrowed her eyes. “... Yeah, I figured. I’ve been seein’ more and more of your kind around lately. None with real, non-magical cat ears obviously, but a couple of metal golems and such. They were pervs, so I kicked them out of the castle.”
“Metal… Golems?” Lorelei’s heart skipped a few beats and all colour drained from her face.
“Weirded out aren’t you? Honestly, same. First thing they did was stare at my body and beam some weird lights at me. I didn’t even entertain any of their requests before kicking them out. ”
Lorelei felt her breakfast coming back up quickly and had to run towards the restroom.
As the sounds of the catgirl retching echoed through the whole smithy, the Oni fixed her gaze on Astarte, who was buddy staring at her own reflecting in a shiny plated helmet.
“Hey you, the weird one.”
“Wha-” Astarte gasped and floated in place slightly. “Excuse you! Behold my Divine power, mortal!” With that, Astarte hurled an arc of magical lightning at the Oni. It fizzled out before reaching the Smith, who let out a chuckle.
“It has been beheld. Your friend preggers or something?”
Astarte crossed her arms. “Rude. And no. Her stomach just hates robots… Stop looking at me like that!” Astarte blushed and looked away. Meanwhile the Oni did not even try to hide the look of pity that she was giving Astarte.
Lorelei and Astarte arrive at the Lonesome Masters’ Hold and meet the Oni Smith there. They reach an agreement on payment in exchange for the Oni’s services before finding out that Primes have been sighted around the Hold in the past. This sends Lorelei straight to the bathroom in a panic and leaves Astarte alone to be bullied by the buff oni woman.
