Can't wait to meet Roma and have a civilized discussion like grown ups
@Lonewolf685
We're not even in the week end yet! You lied!

:) <3

"I am no Ameri-- Oh." sometimes Valeria's enthusiasm went right over Maria's head, but she did not hold it against the German lass. In fact, her sparkling personality was a breath of fresh air and, frankly, this whole thing was; the Academy, her class, the girls and teaching. Nothing like Maria has ever lived up to this point.

"You are good at speeches, Valeria. More so than me, it seems." Maria said after sitting down in the car's passenger seat. She was like a contrast, like an old painting superposed on modern art compared to Valeria's modern machine. The new Teacher took the opportunity this moment offered to watch over everyone else in the class. The girls seemed to get into pairs as demanded; Suzuya with Rose and Xolys, Silvia with Celina, Lilac with Tesni... but Nessie had no one it seemed. Just as she was about to ask the girl to join them, Valeria acted first.

"A splendid idea. Miss Burns, I too would be delighted if you accepted to join us." Maria added, and although she was frank, her polite smile did not reach her eyes. The girls would have known her for a few days at this point and know, however, that she was genuine - just not very expressive for one reason or another.

Ultimately, whether Nessie would accept their offer or not they would depart. Maria's elbow rested on the car's frame as she looked ahead, then up at Ozma flying a little ways ahead. At some point during their travel, she would look to Valeria and ask; "So, Valeria. Tell me, I have heard you and Miss Clementine are friends? If so, that is grand." she said then looked as if she was thinking back. "I have had the pleasure to pair up with the Crimson Comet on a few occasions in the past. She truly is a delightful woman, isn't she? So bright." Maria's eyes went back up to Ozma, still flying ahead of them a bit further now. She kept talking, although her tone had changed to a lower one, almost as if talking to herself; "I do not know what tragedy inhabits her, but to be able to smile through it and be such a bright beacon for everyone... I find myself a little envious of such a feat."

"Dear me - pardon me, I seem to have lost myself in thoughts. Haha." Maria quickly added along with a small calculated laugh, her hand covering her mouth as she did so. "It seems we have arrived."

Maria made sure to stay near the entrance of the old building and make sure everyone arrived before she would herself enter the building. After which, she would remain at the front, entrusting the back to Valeria. Still, Maria wanted to focus on the students entirely and watch how they would react, how they would move and their every reactions so she would be keeping a close eyes on them, even from the front. Despite seeming cold, she was calculated and cared about making sure these girls could fend for themselves. She wouldn't participate directly in any fight, but she'd be at the front and ready to take action if anyone needed assistance.

Then Ozma began speaking, and the more she did the more Maria's eyes narrowed. So, this was why Ozma mentioned it to her a few days ago; Roma Bhakti. It seemed the Crimson Comet had this planned out for a little while, at last. It did not sit right with Maria - to put her class in such a precarious position? it did not feel like Charlotte. There was no point in bringing it up now, though, and it was too late to back out of it. This was when Maria, too, noticed the Pageless. Quite a few of them, too.

"Well, students. You heard her; let us put your training to the test. I will keep an eye on you to see how you all are doing." at this moment, a Pageless lept for Maria - to which she grabbed it by the throat and, without changing form, slammed it to the ground with such force that it died on impact and dissipated through her fingers. After which she stood back up, clapped her hands together gently to get any dust off and added; "Proceed."

They're tougher than before...

As Niall noticed this, his tactic switched. Taking them down for good was not necessarily the tactic, and he began simply dodging, parrying and pushing them out of the way with hilt hits, kick and shoving if he could not lands a decisive blow instead. This allowed him to make progress and soon the two had reached the gate.

As the Tuatha began his ascent, Niall did not know what to think. His absence left the Knigth in a precarious position having to fend off this many enemies and they were closing in. With no other choice, Niall called forth the powers in his enchanted Lance yet again but to another extent this time. Seemingly coming out of the Lance's bit where the metal met the shaft, a black mist began leaking and rapidly expanding until Niall and his would be attackers were completely engulfed. From the outside, it literally looked like a mist descended on the area but it was dark and impossible to see through. From inside, it looked as if clouds suddenly covered the moon and they were in the pitch black of night. It did absorb light to a certain extent by any torches or light magic could help enemies see even in this magical darkness. Niall, as for him, had his enhanced vision and yet remained on the defensive for now. If anyone came forward to attack him, he would counter but otherwise was only playing for time.

"Whatever you seem to be doing, do it now friend before we are completely surrounded !"

Walking through the city one couldn't help but notice how Coris relied on white rocks in their architecture, which was even more prevalent in the district known as the Sun Garden, where most temples and the Library was. It gave the city a large and clean look, with it's people going about in mostly blissful ignorance of just who were walking amongst them and the war going on -but that was nothing new at this point.

It wouldn't be long before Liora found Rean's company. The large Library that was now not too far from them was indeed well guarded. It was surrounded by stone walls atop which were spiked bars. Two guards were at the entrance, bearing the emblem of Goldshore which meant they were the Marshal's direct men. The Library itself was built on about three different floors, had a flat roof but very few windows probably due to the maintenance needs of old scrolls and books inside. From a thief point of view, it could be possible for someone agile enough to find a way above the walls around the library from a neighboring building and what not, but it was impossible to know if there was more guards inside the library or around it. There was also the possibility of maybe talking sense into the guards even though they knew the Library was off limits - maybe charm and charisma would be enough to save the day?

As Arthur made his way on his own, at first, he would find about the same sights as his two sisters Rean and Liora. The city was peaceful, and it's people were happy. This was true even on the docks, were most people were hard workers who were more or less down on their luck.

Arthur then made his way into the temple of the city, also in the Sun Garden district. The temple was massive, with great stairsa leading to the main grounds which were elevated above everything else. The massive roof was held up by white columns surrounding the whole floor and a statue of almost every Gods was within, along with altars to give them gifts, offerings and prayers. Not many souls were inside, but Arthur wasn't alone. Seeing the Gods standing there, even in statue form was...like seeing your parents for the first time after coming back from a long absence. A wave of nostalgia would wash over the Knight even if he could not exactly remember any faces or actual memories.

He said his prayer, and things were silent at first. That was until something came up behind him...a hand reached out and landed on his shoulder as an older man stood there; one of the grounds keeper. "Wish that they could answer us directly, son." the older man said with real concern in his eyes. It was as if he knew the young man carried a heavy destiny with him and felt like he had to approach him. "Stay strong in these hard times. That you notice it or not, the Gods will find a way to show you your way. Keep faith."

It would have been bold to assume a direct answer from the Gods indeed, and yet... as their children, who knew? Maybe answers would come and if it was not now, maybe at a later time. Either way, if Arthur was to eventually make his way out of the Temple it would be easy for him to spot the library from up there and find his two companions. If that was his wishes.

The day was young and beautiful. Rays of sunlight pearled on the calm waters of the riverbank as the massive Dragonborn made his way upstream, his hard exterior and physique a literal contrast to the surrounding peaceful nature. Since a little while now his way brought up out of the immediate farmlands and he had entered a little wooded area, still following the water. Until now, he had seen nothing but... his luck was about to change.

As he made his way into a small clearing, near the water, he most likely would stop dead in his track as he saw the remainders of what seemed like a hidden camp. He would find a small shelter close to a destroyed fire pit, some supplies scattered around and...a body. One. The body itself was mangled, half eaten, with blood and his innards spilled nearby. One thing was still clear, though; the body's clothing was clearly from Nuniel military.

Like Vyandar the pair did not find anything at first, despite being mounted and having a good view from the skies. The farmlands were massive, so it was to be expected. Aurelian would meet peasants on the roads leading through the fields. Maybe he asked them a question or not, but they didn't have much to say. That was until, many hours into their search, they ended up finding a peasant dwelling that seemed empty. It was kind of away form the main roads, spotted by Lutatia at first and pointed to Aurelian.

Upon arrival, the man would find it completely deserted which was abnormal. Normally he would find kids playing or a house wife, at least, taking care of the place. Upon further looking around, chances were he would spot signs of struggle around the house and weird looking tracks leading into the field where the crops seemed damaged like if something large passed through there.

From the airs, Lutatia would see a bit more of what happened. While she couldn't see the signs of struggle or the tracks, she definitely saw a spot further into the fields that seemed like it was destroyed. There was a small area where the crops were all destroyed and the earth had been turned upside down, but that was the limit of what she could see from up there.
but hopefully a peaceful patrol should rouse spirits.

:^)

"There are Horses waiting for us outside if we but reach them." Niall answered without looking back at the Tuatha.

When they stepped out, Niall immediately began looking around himself to determine the location from where he came and where he had left his horses. Niall looked up, at the moon and the stars to see if he could deduce how much time approximately passed. Gabriel was to meet him back at the horses a hour after they had split up, and that time was drawing close. Hopefully, the Lightsword knight would have the horses prepared just in case as Niall came back.

With this in mind, the knight's mind focused back at the immediate problems; they were surrounded. The Formorian and her creations were still behind them, meaning that - if they were lucky - between this aggressive Niall, his aggressive companion and freedom stood only some regular bandits.

"Listen. The gates are the more direct way of leaving here and heading to the horses outside, but chances are they're closed. I will cut a path, follow through and open those gates." A feat the man and his axe could probably do, judging by their feat of strength from earlier. With this, Niall lost no time and lunged forward.

With speed and grace he cut down the first few bandits closest to them while heading to the door. His strikes were precise and quick as he advanced, dodged and deviated strikes with his deadly weapon. Providing bandits were indeed the same sort he fought at the castle earlier in the day and no other surprised came their day, Niall would quickly cut a path to the gates to see if they were yet closed or not. If they were, he would expect the Tuatha to follow his plan. If not, Niall would move to keep them open at any cost.

The Knight could possibly rather easily go above the walls, but he did not know of his new companion's abilities completely yet. Maybe he could go above the walls, or through them perhaps... but he could not create a plan on maybe's and perhaps'.
I really don't mind though. I was just pointing it out for a little joke heh
Thanks <3
It's Maria though, not Marie. :P Hahaha
Hey people, I edited my last post to add a little speech to the students in general.

The edit is clearly marked top of the paragraph, sorry for that x_x

@TheWendil See, Maria didn't forget to be a teacher.
