Soon enough, my slime had let go of my hand after it had sapped a bit of my body heat. The slime still looked like it was shivering a little, but overall it seemed to have recovered in the process. I grabbed my hand which was now cold to the touch, but felt relieved knowing that it would warm up over time and that judging by the weather it wasn't anywhere near the winter time. I liked the cold and didn’t really mind it, and while I was somewhat resistance against it I didn’t have any other clothes I could wear to warm me up or anything. In fact, I didn’t even have a blanket.

I slipped my hand in my pocket in an attempt to warm it up faster, as my gaze turned towards the windows and the outside world that lay on the other side. Looking through the windows of the building various trees could be seen, though looking at them gave me the impression that something was off. Almost as if they weren’t ordinary trees. Looking away from the windows I saw a door. Should I open it? No one told me I couldn’t right? My curiosity got the best of me and I slowly walked over towards the door and gripped the handle, and as I did so I paused. Was this really okay to do? I looked back over towards the group behind of people behind me. Maybe I should wait for them, but it couldn’t hurt to just take a peek right? Yet part of me felt it wouldn’t be a good idea, after all this was a strange new world that I knew nothing about. I thought to myself for a quick second before feeling two slimy appendages grab my left arm. “Open the door, I want to see what’s outside as well you know.”

Sighing I shook my head, looks like I’m not the only one who wants to see the outside world. “Alright I’ll open it then.” I told the slime as I opened the door to reveal a large forested area. I looked around in awe at the natural untouched beauty of this place. Examining the trees closer a lot of them appeared to have some type of new fruit I had never seen before in my life. Some weird type of blue-skinned curved pear with lighter specks of blue dotting its surface. I took a small step forward practically ready to explore this new world. It was almost like something was calling me, telling me that I needed to find the secrets of this world, and yet as I took yet another step forward I had to stop myself.

I could only think about one thing. That this place, this world, while filled with beauty was also extremely dangerous. I had to be cautious and try to keep safe. There was no telling what could happen in this realm.
Will be posting something today. :D

I stared at the girl for a moment, unsure of how to respond, but figured some form of flattery might be nice. "Ang...Angela? That's a rather nice name, you have." I said somewhat shyly. It actually was true though, Angela was quite a nice name, and while I would normally keep this to myself, it was nice that she came up to speak to me. "So, this place, how do..., you feel-"

However before I could finish my question I saw Angela was fixated on something else. Turning my head I saw two of the same girls from before, the one that had mocked me. Why was...

Suddenly two beams of cold shot out from one Elizabeth to the other. I fully expected the other Elizabeth to be hit dead on and die, or at least be injured horribly, but instead the second Elizabeth's face started to mold into a doughnut shape, as the neck stretched outwards moving towards the right. The skin itself also started to change color, back to that of a dark-ish colored green. One of the beams missed completely, but the second one on the other hand hit partially, as the hole didn't have enough time to open up fully. A cracking sound was heard as small chunks of frozen goop fell to the floor. Wait, was that my, my slime? It must have really pissed off the real Elizabeth by transforming into her, but part of me wondered if it had actually said anything else to make her so angry. The slime continued to stand still for a moment before raising one hand and firing out a few jets of slime back towards Elizabeth, only the barrage stopped rather abruptly as the words "I command that you cease your senseless conflict," were yelled at both the slime and Elizabeth from across the room.

The slime then transformed back into it's normal self and quickly moved over towards me, muttering the words "cold, cold..."

Forming a single tentacle it grabbed my arm and started to absorb some of my body heat, in an attempt to warm itself up a little, not that I minded.

Fidgeting around a bit nervously I once again examined the strange room I was in. It felt so foreign seeing all these pods. In fact it seemed like something practically out of a movie. I mused at the thought before I felt a slimy warm tentacle grasp my leg. "You sure there's nothing wrong all?"

I stared down at the slime, and frowned a little bit. "Well, I guess I'm, I guess I'm a bit self-conscious about the way I look." I responded.

"What? but you're not bad looking at all." The slime said beginning to bounce up and down eagerly.

A slight smile formed on my face at the compliment. "Thank-"

"You make such a lovely girl after all."

"..." I paused for a moment in disbelief. "Uh, I'm a boy you know."

"Sorry sorry, I couldn't resist teasing you a little. I know you're a boy. I just wanted to have a little fun is all."

"Right..." My voice trailed off, not actually sure if the slime was totally serious or not. Though in the end I figured it couldn't be helped. The slime didn't even have a gender after all, so if it wasn't joking, maybe it just got confused or something. Suddenly I heard a voice coming from my left.

"Well anyways seeing as how that one girl hurt your feelings I'll go and mess with her. This is going to be so fun." Said the slime rather mischievously as it slowly moved over behind a pod.

For a second I thought about stopping the slime, after all while her comment did hurt a bit it was something I was used to. My slime friend didn't really need to go out of its way to help me or anything. Before I could stop the slime I heard a voice coming from my left though. "Hey. I don't believe I ever got your name."

I looked over to where the voice was coming from to see a girl with paint stains all over her clothes. Oh, it's that girl, the one I saw from before in the pod. I looked back up to the girl's face and nervously responded with "M...my name's Azorel, and yours?"

(Slime POV)
Oh man, I can't wait to see the look on her face when I approach her. Carefully readjusting my body, I made a perfect copy of her within a couple of seconds. Well, somewhat. There were bound to be a few errors here and there, but I doubt anyone would really notice as they didn't even really know her all that well anyways. I think? These people were new right? Or maybe I'm the new one? Oh whatever, let's just try this.

Walking over to the woman known as Elizabeth, yes that was her name right? I reached out with my finger and tapped her on the shoulder from behind. "What is the meaning of this you impostor?" I said, venom dripping from my mouth. "To think you would take my beautiful form and parade it around and make a mockery of me. You have some nerve. Hell, you didn't even get my appearance right. It's close, but you didn't even manage to capture my true beauty, some shapeshifter you are, next time try harder. Now get out of my sight unless I have to make you." I glared at her with a rather serious face, only on the inside I was laughing my he- well I don't really have a head. Doesn't really matter though, her reaction is probably going to be hilarious.

A stunning performance if I do say so myself. While my voice didn't exactly sound like her, it was close enough as well, and I figured most people wouldn't even noticed, unless they had super hearing or something. Whatever the case, I figured this would frighten her off for a while, or at least confuse her. Oh I hope she gets really confused.

@Minnakht
Things are sure moving slow with the first group. And I can't really post anything meaningful since my character is knocked out. And I rather not write some silly dream sequence or something.

As far as humans go, usually it's really bad if someone stays unconscious for an extended period of time after being knocked out. You could probably heal yourself up enough with regeneration to at least open your eyes and get a blurry look at what's going on if you really wanted to. I doubt you'd be able to do much of anything though, given your condition, but you could probably do that.

I paused for a moment awkwardly. It was nice to meet me? That was something I didn't really hear very often at all. The only time I could really ever remember anyone saying that was when I was younger, or if my parents brought over some coworkers for a party or something like that. "Th...thanks. It's nice to meet you as well." I replied, with a nervous smile on my face. This Nathaniel person seemed pretty friendly, and well, that was kind of nice. But regardless, an adventure huh? This would definitely be new. I mean, this feels all so surreal. Maybe I'm in some type of coma or something? No, nonsense that can't possibly be right. I shouldn't think like that. I was brought here for a reason, but what exactly was it?

Just then the girl I noticed from before with paint on her clothes approached us. "Hello. Who are you?" She asked.

How do I respond to that? I mean, well, I guess I'm just an average-, "Ahh, please excuse me. I am Nathaniel." Before I could say anything Nathaniel answered her question, while I just stood still. I felt out of place in social situations, and this was no different. I backed up a little and instead just watched them talk to each other, keeping to myself. There wasn't much use in trying to insert myself into their conversation, and besides that might come off as a little rude or something.

However as the conversation between them progressed, a beautiful looking woman appeared. How did I not notice her from before? Surely she wasn't here a moment ago, and yet here she now stood before me and Nathaniel. Listening to the woman though, she sounded quite full of herself, which really wasn't all that attractive. However what really struck a nerve was when I heard her mutter the phrase "girly boy". My head sunk at her comment as I slowly backed away towards my slime friend. This woman whoever she was, reminded me so much of my life, the life I used to have. All those days in school where I was teased, and considered a joke. I didn't want to hear anymore of this. So why, even after reaching this new world. Why do others still make fun of me? Whatever, I don't need them, or at least that Elizabeth girl anyways.

Seeing me approach my slime oozed forward towards me, and paused for a moment, as if hesitating about something. "Is something wrong? You seem to have become saddened by something."

"It's nothing." I replied. "Nothing at all."

"If you say so..."
I will be making a post soon, just I won't have any time today, and most likely none tomorrow. But Monday will be relatively free for me. :)
Seems we posted at the same time gamma, sorry about that.

I don't mind at all, there's nothing to really apologize over.

Awakening from my sleep I slowly opened my eyes. What a strange dream I had last night, I mean, me, of all people becoming something more than human? Becoming a god? The thought was too far-fetched. I wasn't anyone special, far from it, so the whole thing was kind of comical really, though I suppose the thought isn't really all that bad. It's kind of nice in a way actually. As my eyes finally opened fully and my vision came back into focus I found myself in some type of sleek metallic pod, though the top part seemed to be transparent. "T-this is, well crap."

I wasn't sure what to think. Sure the idea of it seems pretty cool, but when it comes down to it I'd probably get my butt kicked numerous times, and now a mortal wound won't even ever kill me. The thought of receiving pain really wasn't all that great, not to mention I had never actually been in a fight with anyone in my life before. Wait, calm down, maybe there's something that can help me out in this room? I looked around the room to see rows and rows of more pods, and while most of them were empty, there were a few pods that actually had some people in them. One of them was a very tall young adult who must have been around six feet tall. He also seemed to be royalty of sorts? The next guy happened to be about average with glasses that sat on his nose to help him see. His appearance seemed to give off the impression that he'd be somewhat friendly, but could I really trust my own judgement on that? There was also a petite girl who seemed to have paint splotches all over her clothing. Her appearance wasn't all that impressive honestly, but from my guess she may be a bit outgoing. Not afraid of what others think and such. Finally there was a man that looked very strong and athletic. His clothes seemed to be a bit torn and tattered, but were otherwise decently cleaned and ironed. Whatever the case, he looked decently reliable. Now then, just how do I get out of this pod?

I carefully examined the pod's see-through top and white metal bottom. Nothing out of the ordinary and no switch. Maybe if I just touch one of the walls...

As my hand graced the clear shell of the pod a door opened up allowing me to escape. Stepping outside into the shrine room I took in all of my surroundings. It was kind of eerie to be honest, and while I didn't exactly want to stay here any longer, the outside forest kind of scared me even more. Whatever this place was, this wasn't earth, it's either a dream world formed from my own subconscious or imagination, or some different place entirely, most likely the latter.

Before I could really walk and take a look around I heard a thud as I watched the average looking guy with glasses fall onto the ground. While he didn't hit the ground particularly hard, his somewhat panicked expression caught me off guard. Why was he looking for his glasses? He was clearly already wearing them. I walked over to him, about to ask if he was okay, but before I could do so I felt something wrap around my leg. I turned around and looked at my leg to see a tentacle comprised entirely of slime. It's grip was rather firm, but it let go as I tried to escape its grip. The tentacle of course, was attached to a green slime which looked rather standard, excluding some of the slow moving green energy which appeared to be inside it. It moved like a current floating throughout the entirety of it's body. As I stared at the creature it started to hop slightly from side to side, remaining just a few inches above the ground at it's max height. Was it excited? No, it had to be angry, perhaps it was some sort of monster I was supposed to kill, the first fight of many. But how do I fight an amorphous blob without any weapons? I looked around the room, unable to find anything remotely of use. The slime inched closer which caused me to cautiously take a step back. Like a slug it inched towards me once again, this time, moving even faster.

Nope, I'm not fighting this thing without a weapon, or something. I'm not even sure something physical would even hurt it all that much. I was pretty much screwed. Turning around I quickly sprinted away from the creature, but it seemed to keep up right along with me. For a bunch of goo it was pretty fast, but I couldn't just give up and let it kill me. So I quickly sped up even more, but this just seemed to egg it on as it started bouncing and hopping after me. The chase continued for a few moments as I circled around and through the pods, with the slime hot on my tail. Surprisingly I still didn't feel even winded at all, was this due to the power I now had inside of me?

"Why are you running away from me?"

I stopped for a moment and looked back at the slime in disbelief. "Y...you talked." I stammered as the slime stopped right beside me as well.

"And so did you, but why are you running away from me?" Again it repeated.

"Y...you're not going to kill me?" I asked, surprised.

"No? Why would I? Besides, don't you feel the connection we share?" As it asked this question the slime extended a tendril out to me suspending it in mid-air.

I cautiously examined the tendril before slowly grabbing, and gingerly shaking it, similar to a handshake. The slime's body was rather moist, but it also felt warm and comforting in a way. Not only that, but I could sense something. Something I couldn't explain was connecting us together, as if by destiny or fate. This slime wasn't my enemy, it was my friend. Realizing this I couldn't help, but smile slightly. At least I know I have one ally.

"I feel it, we really are connected aren't we? Uh, I'm sorry about running away from you earlier, it's just that, yeah..." The slime just stood still as I said this, probably confused, so instead I tried to change the subject. "So, what exactly do we do now?" I asked concerned about our predicament. "Do you know anything about this place at all?"

The slime stayed silent for a moment before flattening out slightly and returning back to it's normal shape again. "I don't recall anything. The only thing I know is you, and your life, and even then I don't know all that much."

I paused for a moment to scratch my cheek with my index finger. Maybe someone else knows. I thought to myself, as I slowly approached the guy with glasses. Though, strangely enough he seemed to have taken them off, even though he was just searching for them a while ago. As I got closer and closer to him though, I started to freeze. How exactly do I even interact with this guy? I looked back over towards the slime, but it just seemed to sit there, most likely watching me from afar. I thought to myself for a moment, repeating the words I wanted to say in my head. Hi, my name is Azorel, do you know what's going on here? Where are we? Only as I started to speak it came out much different, as my shyness and social ineptitude really started to show.

"H...hello, m...my name is As-as-as-Azorel. Where are w...we headed?" I glanced over to the side and clutched my left arm out of embarrassment. I probably sounded like an idiot. I can't even do something this simple correctly, why did I even bother trying. I should have let him approach me first instead, at least in some ways it would probably be better. Whatever the case though, there wasn't much I could do now, but to roll with it. I glanced back at him, still clutching my arm rather timidly, waiting somewhat nervously for him to respond.
@JohnSolaris

I just wanted to explain it like it was cool I know it can't be ultra powerful I mean it like it just makes him a tad bit stronger at the moment.

And the Dragon thing I meant it to be about the size of a small pickup truck if that'd be okay because it would be a little nerfed so he wasn't as powerful.

The main problem isn't how powerful you are in your dragon form. The biggest problem is that a beginner shouldn't be able to full-body transform. John Eidreon for instance only transforms his hands into sharp bone claws laced with mild paralytics. So by comparison you shouldn't be able to turn into a dragon the size of a small pick-up truck, as that would be relatively overpowered, and even if it was done in a way where it wasn't too overpowered, the fact that you can transform your whole body suggests you'd have quite a lot more latent power than all the other characters. So as I see it (though I could be wrong) the creator wouldn't allow you to transform into something as weak as say a mouse, as it would be impossible for someone of your skill level to change their body to that degree. Also regarding your Warrior of light ability, even though it sounds pretty cool, you should probably tone down the description until you actually achieve a high enough power level to back it up.

In @JohnSolaris's words: A full-body transformation ability like Dragon Form is too advanced for beginner characters, so I'm afraid you'll have to remove the ability entirely for now.

Also this probably doesn't hold that much weight, but in an earlier roleplay of John Solaris, it took a total of 6 (beginner-ish) characters to defeat a large (light/air elemental) dragon. And even then at the end, everyone was extremely injured from the battle. (Though I will note that one player dropped out of the fight due to some reasons I can't remember) Even still, a smaller dragon would probably be insanely powerful, at least for a beginner that is.
