Current Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama. A huge part of so many childhoods. His legacy lives on stronger than ever.

Better yet, make a new game somehow bringing Halligan and Briggs from Limbo of the Lost together

Horrendous cutscenes aside, I always did think the actual game screens had a really nice art-style. They felt hand-drawn in a real storybook kind of way.
I agree with that assessment. Ocarina was definitely the better start to finish narrative, but Majora works best with it's entire vibe and atmosphere. It stood out as so unique even though it was using the same engine and familiar assets.
Also peak Chuchu design.

I'm on the final stretch of Skyward Sword HD. I know a lot of people had issues with the game but I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, and I'm impressed at how well the motion controls were reworked to a controller. It's surprisingly responsive and snappy and didn't take too long to adjust to.

I did also (for the first time, I am ashamed) play Majora's Mask. Fantastic game that did such a wonderful job of setting itself apart from Ocarina of Time and offering a really bold story in a time where mainline Zelda games hadn't taken massive departures from the traditional format. Ocarina may still be my number one Legend of Zelda game, but Majora gives it a run for its money.
Okami is on my list to play soon. I hear that the Switch version is the best one (which is just about the only game I can think of where people say that), so when I can get a reasonably priced copy I'll be sure to give it a red hot go.

For now I'm just playing Ocarina of Time again. That game is like a warm blanket to me.
My wife and I went to see Alien Romulus a few days ago and it was incredible. A welcome addition to the Alien franchise, especially after the last two stinkers. Between Romulus and Prey I feel the Alien and Predator franchises have redeemed themselves in my eyes. Now if we could just get one good new Terminator film I'd be very happy.
Played Jedi Survivor and I loved it. Fallen Order was a pleasant surprise to me especially since I had mostly given up on most Star Wars media, so I'm glad the sequel was just as good.

Now I'm playing Arkham Knight (I know, I know, I'm late to the party on that one) and it's also a hell of a time. Love the whole Arkham trilogy and I'm going to just pretend that it was Kevin Conroy's real Batman swan song.

In addition to that I've been playing around with the new Doom + Doom II ports. They still need a little work but the mod support is sure nice. If you want as vanilla a Doom experience as possible without having the dick around with source ports and their myriad settings then it's a fine way to play.
Playing Doom 3 BFG Edition because I want to see why it's so contentious among the Doom fan base. It's literally the same game with some minor QoL adjustments. It's still probably my least favourite of the Doom franchise and sticks out like some sort of novel anomaly, but it's by no means a bad game.

It's better than Rage, that's for darn sure...
This sounds cool, consider me considering.

Steve Walsh in his prime was an absolutely sublime singer.
It's on Game Pass if you swing that way.
