Q: How obligated are we to use the cities/names listed on the map? They all kinda sound like "generic fantasy gibberish" rather than anything cohesive.
Fair question, I'd say they should be edited out of the map, so you can have free roam of your names. Feel free to not name your cities and nations based on the map. Enjoy freedom.
EDIT: Willy, we should really mark all the claims down and update the OP map with them to avoid bumping heads.
<Snipped quote by Goldeagle1221>This is a freeform game. The entire setting will be built by the players. Just like most NRPs. I can handle NS judging and such. I want your help so there'd be always a GM to lean on. Anyways, I'm going to post the NS format soon.
I'll be also working on the OOC. Like I said I can handle the gamebuilding and administration parts. I just know myself enough that I'll be probably won't be always on so I need a GM who would maintain a presence there.
@Aristo I've been waiting for his reply for so long on that collab and another one... Finally last night he graced me with his extremely delicate and flowery additions to our posts... I got the word "The" after waiting for days. That's all he wrote, then he logged off.
Right, if Zell, Aristo, Hypderdrive, and NOW TMG are interested... sure I'll co-GM just so I can boss them around again. @Willy Vereb PM me what I need to know?
The long and short of it is though, that I take first priority with my current roleplay, but I'll help.
I'm interested in this as well, but I'm not too keen on gunpowder but I'll keep an eye on this.
Don't let gunpowder fool you, it's not for another three hundred years until it became "overpowering" when compared to conventional ranged weapons... barring siege warfare of course. Pick your battlefield and conditions correctly, and you should have no problem facing even advanced gunpowder units.
Well, I turn my head for a few days and this just explodes. As I understand it the setting will have early firearms or? Otherwise I'll juse be out. I did not sign up for yet another progress-phobic medieval fantasy setting if I can help it. I think the 14-15th century had some early firearms.
In other news, I would love to be a co-GM to this.
@Goldeagle1221I see. Well, my next question would've been if you don't mind being a co-GM. To be honest I have a number of RPs and while I can handle the administration and game making part but given my unpredictable schedule I want somebody else to work on the management part of things. Long story short after I started the game and got the nations down I'd intend to ask somebody else to run the game. This is because I realize otherwise it might result in a disaster. Seriously, these NRPs are often very much self sufficient yet when the GM isn't present people just tend to not care about the game regardless. It's a bothersome feature but this is why I want somebody with more consistent activity than me. I agreed to make this thread in the chat with such condition. Because I want this game to succeed.
This reply isn't only aimed at you. Is there anyone willing to work as a co-GM here? The game is freeform so you don't really need to consult with me on anything. Again, I just wish the best for this NRP.
And I was your first choice? :> .. well, I'm flattered. Let me think on it before I answer. (Previous commitment takes priority)
I'm not really a bird.

Where did I play,
A land of twisted branches,
A kingdom of clay,
A swamp of memories,
A never-ending day,
Where did I run,
Across the dawn,
Through the sun,
Across the sky,
Through laughs and fun,
Where did I walk,
Pristine grass green,
White cliffs of chalk,
Pools of sky so blue,
Orchard stones that talk,
Where did I sit,
By the gates of silver,
Near endless pit,
By forever horizon,
You may remember it.[/center]
