The FoolGeneral Overview
The Imperium of Man stands at the pinnacle of its power. The Great Crusade, the mighty endeavor started by the being known as the Emperor has raged across the known galaxy for decades, bringing thousands of worlds into Imperial Compliance. This Crusade is championed by the Legiones Astartes, genetically enhanced warriors crafted by the Emperor, and led by the Primarchs, the Emperor's own sons. With them march countless millions of Imperial Army soldiers and an unmatched navy, the mighty Legio of the Legio Titanica and their Mechanicum masters, and the many Imperial government officials that ensure the Imperium of Man continues its growth unhindered.
As the galaxy comes closer to being fully subjugated, whispers have begun to spread across the Imperium. Reports of Legions acting out of characters, violent repression on distant worlds, and the growing presence of an religious cult within the Great Crusade threatens to throw everything that has been achieved into peril. As Dark Gods scheme and mortal men and women seek to understand an ever changing galaxy, the fate of all mankind, and the very galaxy itself, might be determined by a few select individuals.

Hello all! This is my first attempt at writing a story here on the site in a few years and am hoping to get back into the groove of things with my favorite topic, Warhammer. This story will, clearly, take place during the Great Crusade, but beyond the setting, I am hoping we can craft a alternate universe where we decide on a new course of actions that can either drastically change the setting, or see little change at all. There will not be any custom Legions made, but each of those Legions can be set on a new path that we can imagine up together. Keeping it brief here in the initial post as I hope to be able to discuss details and interest with people here, and develop a better start to things with more input.
