@Zeroth@Duthguy As the last goblin went down, and Kakky Oin fled into the woods, Jason huffed a sigh of relief,
"System, display level progress.". Strangely enough, though the cudgelblin was dead, and his soul was no longer within its body, Jason was unable to see it at all anymore, as he squinted to try and discern if it was floating over the dead body, just as he had when he died. Recalling back to when he'd used
[Spiritual Awareness] back when possessing the dead slime's body, Jason surmised that the goblin was just currently further into the spiritual plane than he could naturally detect. Perhaps this meant that the active form of
[Spiritual Awareness] was akin to going 'deeper' into the astral plane? Did that mean other things within that colorless world could in turn see him? What about things that still lurked even further beyond his senses? He shuddered at the thought. As Danny asked him to keep watch, Jason was perfectly happy to cover his comrade's back. While the poltergeist was looting, Jason carefully scanned the perimeter for any oncoming threats, and used
[Mana Drain] on both of the downed goblins to replenish his mana. As he did so, another thought crossed his mind; back when he had regained
[Telepathy], the system had said something about a wound in his powers being
healed... Was this spiritual 'wound' perhaps the cause of the strange prickling sensation he'd felt in his core? Continuing to ponder as he repeatedly scanned the surrounding area, Jason took a break for a moment to try something else since he doubted the goblins had any healing objects on them, since they hadnt used any in the fight. Floating to the ground; pressing himself against the soil, Jason focused his thoughts, and cycled his mana similarly to how Zieglar had.
"Oh mighty spirits of the earth-" he began, activating
[Guidance],
"please guide me unto what may heal my ally, that I may help him to mend his wounds." patiently, Jason awaited any form of answer.
