Hmmm.... I might try my hand at an advanced roleplay seeing this. I'm gonna have to dwell on it for a bit though.
Is this still accepting @Andromedai?

"No shame in tryin tah protect what ya love." Anrak said with a light chuckle as Allard sternly denied his daughter from participating in the scouting party, "Me own mother was the same with me back when I was just a wee lad." he mused for a moment before standing up with a hard snort from his nostrils.

"Don't cha worry yerself lass, I think I'll go in yer place... I been itchin' fer a good challenge anyway." he spoke, facing Hilde as he put his helmet back on with the same soft scraping noise. Turning to the innkeeper, Anrak said his goodbye, "I suppose that meal will hafta wait. If it wouldn't be too much trouble-- could ya keep an eye on me bag? It'd be a right pain tah carreh that along."

As he sauntered to exit the tavern, he passed the woman who he assumed was this 'madame Valia' the innkeeper had spoken of, and gave her a nod of courtesy.

Anrak heard the Chief's last summons just as he was stepping out the door, and made his slow pace just slightly more brisk. The massive man made it to the sand skiffs just as it seemed they were about to head out.

"You lot got room fer one more?" he hollared over as to make sure they didn't take off without knowing he was willing to volunteer.

As the last goblin went down, and Kakky Oin fled into the woods, Jason huffed a sigh of relief, "System, display level progress.". Strangely enough, though the cudgelblin was dead, and his soul was no longer within its body, Jason was unable to see it at all anymore, as he squinted to try and discern if it was floating over the dead body, just as he had when he died. Recalling back to when he'd used [Spiritual Awareness] back when possessing the dead slime's body, Jason surmised that the goblin was just currently further into the spiritual plane than he could naturally detect. Perhaps this meant that the active form of [Spiritual Awareness] was akin to going 'deeper' into the astral plane? Did that mean other things within that colorless world could in turn see him? What about things that still lurked even further beyond his senses? He shuddered at the thought. As Danny asked him to keep watch, Jason was perfectly happy to cover his comrade's back. While the poltergeist was looting, Jason carefully scanned the perimeter for any oncoming threats, and used [Mana Drain] on both of the downed goblins to replenish his mana. As he did so, another thought crossed his mind; back when he had regained [Telepathy], the system had said something about a wound in his powers being healed... Was this spiritual 'wound' perhaps the cause of the strange prickling sensation he'd felt in his core? Continuing to ponder as he repeatedly scanned the surrounding area, Jason took a break for a moment to try something else since he doubted the goblins had any healing objects on them, since they hadnt used any in the fight. Floating to the ground; pressing himself against the soil, Jason focused his thoughts, and cycled his mana similarly to how Zieglar had. "Oh mighty spirits of the earth-" he began, activating [Guidance], "please guide me unto what may heal my ally, that I may help him to mend his wounds." patiently, Jason awaited any form of answer.

@Zeroth@Duthguy

As he was forced back from the now disarmed Cudgel Goblin, Jason whirled around as he heard Danny's cry of pain. Fury filled Jason as he surged around Danny, casting [Shield I] on his wounded friend as he charged at the spear goblin. Jason focused as he felt his mana surge, he remembered what it was like to shapeshift as a slime, how it felt to stretch and reshape the ever malleable form he came into this world with. He with this memory, Jason extended a long, thick, pseudopod; one that in life would've been tipped with one of his rocky growths. With a mighty swing, Jason went for a low blow with his newly acquired [Ghost Touch], intending to put this little green bastard's balls all the way into his throat! Even if it didn't succeed in killing the goblin, Jason would use a quick [Mana Drain] on his foe as he retreated to cover Danny's back, ready to defend his companion from any incoming attacks, from whatever was causing that nearby rustling, or from the spearblin, if he somehow managed to regain his bearings.

@Zeroth@Duthguy

Just as he was about to go for a killing blow on the severely weakened Kakky Oin, he heard Danny cry out, and immediately turned toward his companion. Though Danny had held his own pretty damn well against two other monsters that in most cases would wipe the floor with a lone poltergeist, the cudgel goblin managed to land a lucky blow, seemingly incapacitating Jason's only ally, and prepared to deliver a killing blow. Determination and will surged within the core of Jason's being-- there was no way in hell he'd let ANYONE or ANYTHING harm those close to him! Jason's mana surged and churned as he charged at the goblin, almost as if subconsciously trying to generate that same 'sharp' aura that Undine and Zieglar had given off. Just as he had done to Kakky Oin, Jason slammed hard (or as hard as a ghost really can) into the chest of the cudgel goblin, immediately activating [Transparency] and [Mana Drain]!

As he took on his human form in the misty in-between, Jason's telepathic roar would echo through the strange void as he charged the goblin's soul. Grasping its head between his hands, Jason attempted to gouge its eyes out with his thumbs!

@Zeroth@Duthguy

Kakky Oin shook his head in confusion-- why would he grab hold of something that was killing him? He needed to push it away from himself.... Right? His grip began to loosen as his right hand let go entirely. As the memories continued to flood through the young goblin's head, he couldn't help but feel as if something was... missing? Actually, it felt like a LOT of somethings were missing. Little by little his grip continued to loosen with his remaining hand.

Almost as if under some kind of compulsion to confirm his mind was his own. he happened to raise his right, and stare at the strangely large, misty palm. Why were they so big? Where was the webbing between his fingers? Pain like a lightning bolt shot through his head as different memories flooded the goblin's mind.

The misty, featureless hand before him flashed through different scenes from his memory, a memory that didn't seem to be that of a goblin, but of something else entirely... The hand held many things in these reminiscent images-- a gun, a knife, a grenade, even a book, and countless other objects as well. As many different things had touched these hands, no matter how many times they'd been covered in blood and dirt and viscera- there were marks that denoted their history upon them. Every callous was a trial, every wound a battle, every scar a badge. These weren't the hands of a goblin, these were the hands of a man! These were JASON'S hands! His grip with his remaining hand clenched tightly with resolve as he raised his right hand, one by one each digit curling into a tight fist. With a fervorous roar, Jason drove his fist just below the goblin's ribcage--- and further! He aimed to drive his strike through the goblin and into the void beyond! "I. AM. JASON!"

@Zeroth@Duthguy

Just as Jason had come to theorize, this strange, colorless, void; the same he had seen when he had consumed Teef, was in reality an 'inner world' of sorts. One that likely existed at the spiritual center of every corporeal being, just outside of whatever was serving as the vessel containing the soul itself. To further note, perhaps a vessel's 'compatibility' with him, was directly related to how easily he could phase into it with [Transparency]. As the violent rejection effect of [Transparency] ejected him back into the real world, Jason was rather unimpressed by the amount of damage it seemed to deal. Quickly the regathering his faculties with a hard shake of his 'head', he charged right back into the goblin's chest! Just like he had previously, Jason used [Transparency] to re-enter that misty world in-between, immediately making a charge for the goblin's spiritual body. As he did so, Jason's form solidified into that of a man as [Mana Drain] activated once more.

Large misty hands reached out to crush the goblin's scrawny throat....
