Smokey Quartz reminds me of an adolescent Sardonyx. Giant yoyo as a weapon? Great! Apparently Jasper worked for MY DIAMOND? YOUR DIAMOND! PAAAANK DIAMOND!
Peridoot was the one who brought down Jasper with a lucky shot.

I think that Jasper got corrupted because, since corruption is basically cancer, but worse(!), being part of the corrupted fusion would've given it to her. And last, but the opposite of least....

@HaltingBlooper She can see energy signatures of anything that is alive. Problem is humans, animals and plants on earth have much more complicated energy signatures due to all the emotion, so Gem energy signatures tend to be more of a solid radiant light energy rather than strings of various colors that are braided together.
