Hey there fellow novella writers! Names Heaven or Heavenly Novel either is fine. I've been RP'ing for almost two decades now (Damn I'm old!!!!!! GAHHHHA) and I consider myself an high casual to advanced writer. I played on this site maybe two or three years back but I've forgotten my password so this is my new acc. Hopefully I can run into some of my old long term partners! I missed you guys!!! I can put up anywhere from 3 paragraphs (Usually min) to 8+ all ofc depending on the scene. In no way am I looking for someone to match me paragraph to paragraph, I greatly value quality over quantity. I'm looking for a partner that can really get into their character, flesh out their emotions and personality really make the scene pop and come alive. My favorite types of books are those that I can absolutely get lost in the writing and easily lose myself for hours because the characters seem so real and captivating. Below is a story I've been workshopping and I would love someone who can help me build the world and story. I plan to make this into an actual story sometime in the future and I would love someone that can help with ideas that I may not have thought of.

This is loosely inspired on The Boys, The Watchmen and Invincible. Inspired in the sense of how grounded things are, how flawed the supposed heroes and villains are, heroes and villains with actual problems, beings whose mental state could be called into question. (Think about it, how would life be with the powers of God, living in a world that feels like it's made of wet paper compared to you. What would you do if nobody could stop you?) So you don't need to have extensive knowledge on these mediums as outside of that they have no impact of this story. lastly, the rules. I know, I know nobody likes rules, but I don't have many I swear and it'll help state my expectations of a partner! The synopsis below is just what I've thought up so far and will further discuss details in private with you as well as mix in your own ideas. Lastly, this will be a story with romance involved. An 80/20 split on story to smut ratio. I'll be playing a F role, you may play F or M, whichever floats your boat, idc what gender you are irl. Kay? See you lovelies soon!

Rules

• So first no GODMODDING. Now for all intents and purposes this is a story of incredibly powerful beings, think people such as Vision, Thor, Black Bolt, Capt. Marvel etc etc. They are very strong with powers that are incredibly destructive realistically. BUT! Although we are playing these strong beings we will NOT be neigh unbeatable. I need a partner who can write a believable powered being that can still be beat. So no Dr. Manhatten esque characters!! No reality warping powers.
• Don't ghost, please don't! I understand that we all have lives and by all means I'm no expecting anyone to make our story priority in their day to day! But, I cannot stand ghosters! It's just polite to let someone know if you are no longer interested (I don't hold my tongue I will let you know if I feel we aren't working) or will be away for a while! I have no problem waiting for someone so long as I know. Heck, going away for a month or more just tell me! We can pick up whenever! I will give the same respect to you!
• No one-liners! Absolutely no exceptions here, in no way will I ever send you a post with a single line. I get writers block happens to us all, but, I will be sure to give plenty of material that one can work with to respond to.
• Must be 18+. This RP will take place in the DM's as it WILL contain adult themes such as, blood, gore, drugs, sex, violence and more!
• Let's chat in OOC! OOC will be the place where we discuss ideas as we go through the main plot, adding, changing and removing shared thoughts or just a place to say hey and catch up! I don't bite I swear!
• Building on the previous point, I expect someone who can introduce their own ideas, DO NOT LET ME JUST RUN THE SHOW! This is a story ran by TWO people, let me hear those amazing ideas you have rattling around that precious mind of yours! Chances are I'll say yes, I'm very very easygoing I promise!
• Once you've read and understood all these rules in your PM tell me your favorite animal!

Freaks, mutants, heroes, angels, lords and even gods. Over the centuries there had been reports of individuals gifted the powers of God Himself, we had been called many many names. We have done many many things, some good, but, a whole lot of bad. It's said that those born with the power to save others and change the world has a responsibility to do just that, but, that doesn't account for the selfish nature of humans. Every few decades or so a variant is born. Variant, that's what we've chosen to be called. There aren't many of us out there, just a handful, but, those of us that do exist we hold unimaginable power. Maybe ten of us exist? No more no less, being that there is so few of us the responsibilities of the worlds state rests on our shoulders.

Or, that's how it should be. Unfortunately that's not how things are. It was five years ago now, ugh, I remember every vivid detail. Every news station around the world played it over and over for months, I mean how could they not? It was a battle that shaped history itself. A fight of morals, but, the public was told it was a battle to stop a crazed villain from world conquest. chuckles I was such a fool, I played right into his plan. Liam Hayes, a man whose looks was only rivaled by his high intellect, born with the powers to absorb the abilities of others, fought me, our fight was beyond devastating, they claim that it was the first time in human history that a category 6 hurricane was recorded. I tried, I really did, but in the end I only played right into his hand.

It's said that the winners are the ones to write history. During the battle I was left nearly half dead and managed to escape and lick my wounds. Liam left in the same state tried his damnest to find me along with the military to finish what was started, to no avail. He did what any twisted manipulating asshole would do, went on a press run explaining to the world how he bested the strongest villain he'd ever face and was left with a broken heart as he had to put down a dear friend and colleague. I on the other hand did the only thing I was able to, hide, run. As there aren't many with powers those of us with them are well known, I had to change my appearance, change my name and go far off the grid. Five years later, I find myself in a small town called Darby, in that time I watched and waited, stayed in the background not even using my abilities in fear of being found out.

But I will hide no longer, I have a plan to take that bastard down once and for all, but, if what I believe is true then I'll need your help, who knows just how powerful he has become over the years, but, I know for sure that with your help we can beat him, expose the truth to the world even! We don't have much time, do you trust me? Please, you are my last hope...
