One thing that'd limit that ability's effect...if it only affected sight, so those hallucinations would be visual and only visual. Obviously it would still be difficult to deal with, but after some time most could adjust to it. Y'know, fighting without trusting their eyes.

There's also the problem of his other drawback. It might be a bit annoying to have random hallucinations by being around him.

That does bring up a question though. Since the mutation quirks didn't instantly transform their users, why would it do that to Charles? I mean you'd assume it may take a little bit of time instead of just instantly transforming and probably killing him. You could do it that way and have it be a slightly watered down version of their quirks as his body wouldn't be prepared to just shift like that.

It's probably why they never showed Neito copying a full mutation quirk like that, it'd be...well it'd probably be horrific to see him try.

I'm just saying, imagine all of your bones breaking and reforming to accommodate that, of course the muscle and skin growth would also be super painful. Not to mention your body trying to generate that much blood.

If it were me, I'd skip out on mutation quirks...or maybe take only little bits of them? Seeing as even the original wielders didn't become that size in an instant.

It's a bit different with someone like, say, MT.Lady thats Quirk gives her the ability to modify her size. A mutation is more of a permanent condition than an ability.
