And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Orchid would like to give chase down the ledge. Noted. Any other takes on the subject before I take that as the route you would be heading down? After all, it only takes one aggressor to make the combat go on.
So, a little something @Zverda@Ryonara@Lucius Cypher@Norschtalen@The Harbinger of Ferocity.

You are free to end combat here and leave the kobold in its self-assigned prison if you so desire. You may also seek to continue the combat to its end. If you do, allow me to roll initiative for the new opponents at the bottom of the stairs just as well. Either way goes. The beasts seem unsure on what to do for now, and remain in the darker reaches of the bottom where the light laid by the flickering lamps of the upper level do not reach.

So what I would like to request is for you to tell me how you seek to proceed.
The situation had definitely taken a turn for the worse for the kobolds. Their pack had been thinned at an extraordinary speed, and that was more than enough a reason to tip the switch in the small creature's head over onto the flight side. Not sporting a pair of wings and all the path it could take before it full of opposing forces, the scaled monster took the only available direction for itself. It leapt down from the edge, the sound of it smacking against the cavern floor echoing from the ten feet below where the drop ended.

It had been a calculated risk. Kobolds knew they were frail creatures, and even a drop of this meagre distance could have killed it. Luck was on the cult's lackey's side however, as despite falling prone they managed to break the fall rather efficiently and landed on their back after their tail had already worked as a buffer of sorts, rather than cracking the ribs of their side or breaking their face on the rugged floor. The drakes at the bottom turned to inspect the sound, but did not attack the small monster, Not even when it dove behind them and cowered under the tail of one particular example.

Druid has provided the information they could indeed come to know of. I shall provide an update on the actions of the kobold come tomorrow!
That is another dead kobold @Lucius Cypher, leaving one standing.

@Zverda - You are up! The opponent is I believe 50 feet from your position.
How far the kobolds are from each other. And by extension the nearest one to him, since the closest (immediate range) was slain.
@Lucius Cypher - He can. Ten foot gaps.
@Ryonara - Save fails at 12. Damage and disadvantage will be applied.

Moving onward to Orchid @Lucius Cypher.
@Ryonara The only Winged Kobold that participated in this combat is dead. You may want to redirect your attack.
So, here we are. And the results of the past two attacks are as follows.

@Norschtalen - Kyra hits her shot despite the Winged Kobold's attempts to dodge. The lone airborne enemy has been shot down and killed.

@The Harbinger of Ferocity - Brannor hits his attack just as well, making short work of another adversary. Two remain on ground.

It is now Parum's turn @Ryonara.

Sorry this took me a while, getting adjusted to my new study period. Should have more time I can set aside for these smaller updates starting from now, since I'll have five days a week to work on the things instead of three like on this first one.
